IPhone unplugged during Restore Process, PLEASE HELP Restore!
Hi guys,
I was Restoring my original iPhone through iTunes and during this process my brother unplugged
the iphone from iTunes.
Now, I've been trying to restore again but the iTunes has prompted a little window that says
"Waiting for iPhone". I left it plugged in all night with iTunes on my Mac but it's stuck on that same
message.
Can someone please help me with this issue?

Try placing your iPhone in recovery mode.
Turn off your iPhone by holding the "Sleep/Wake" button for about five seconds and then sliding the red slider. If your iPhone is already off, there's no need to turn it on and then off again.
Once it's turned off, press and hold the "Home" button and plug the iPhone into your Mac.Keep holding the "Home" button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon. iPhones running older software will display a yellow triangle and text which says "Please Connect to iTunes". You can now release the Home button.
Open iTunes (if it's not already open) and you will be told that "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode". Click "OK" and you will be taken to the iPhone pane. Click restore.

I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :) -

I have a ipod 5th gen and i changed my password because everyone knew it. I had forgotten it and now it is fully disabled. I can not get it online anymore and i have tried everything to get it restored. Please help as I am really worried
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
while I was updating my ipod touch to ios 6 the battery got drained during the process, i tried restoring it, it couldnt now my ipod is stuck on the Apple logo screen.
Can anyone help me with this issue???Connect your iTouch to your PC then open iTunes, if iTunes does not recognize your device, try to hold the SLEEP Button and the HOME button at the same time (iPod Reset) for a couple of seconds until the "Charging Tone sounds, now you should be seeing your device name in the iTunes " Device List". If you do, just click RESTORE and iTunes will automatically restore your iTouch to original set-up and download the iOS6 update.

I have been using GRAB to capture screen displays. It has just stopped working since the last OSX Upgrade. Can anyone, please help restore functionality?

I have Lightroom 5 on my iMac with OS X 10.9.5. I have lost all my (10,500 pics) "developed" settings. Every picture went back to its original setting. How can I restore? Please help. Thanks, GY
Thank you for your questions/advice. The answer for your 1st question is yes, and "may be" to your 2nd question. Fortunately, I had exported the recently developed photos into my external head drive. After reverting back to the original catalog, I have re-imported those developed photos. Now everything is restored. I need to learn more about the subtleties in using the Lightroom.

I'm having trouble with Viber.
A few days ago, I accidentally uninstalled it on my IPhone 4, and reinstalled it later on..
When I tried sending the activation code using the same cell phone number I had on Viber before It got uninstalled, I receive the code but when I try to put it in it keeps saying that I entered the wrong activation code, I click on the no code feature on the top right corner of Viber, it gives me a code, but when I put that code in it says the same thing ,that I have the wrong access code please try again, and so I researched on the internet and came up to this post, It said to uninstall viber and wait 24 hours to install it again, I waited 24hours and tried it again, but it STILL does the same thing. and... I even tried entering my other phone number, yet it does the same thing and shows me the same message that I entered the wrong access code....It is getting frustrating! May you please Help ME?! What can I do?? -

<Edited by Host>The problem is your phone was illegally unlocked and jailbroken. When you upgraded it took the unlock off and now it is locked to the original carrier it was locked to. You will not be able to unlock it now.

Do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed? I would turn on the sidebar and the menu bar just to make sure you are seeing everything. If the iPhone is still not recognized in iTunes, follow these troubleshooting steps:

If you are trying to drag a song over, do you have Manually Manage Music checked in iTunes? You need to check your iTunes settings before trying to put music on it. It may be that you have it set to sync. Check the Summary page of iTunes after you have selected the iPhone in iTunes.
