[iPhone] Updating the new SDK?
Sorry for asking such a trivial question but are you suppose to download the new SDK (1.8GB) download for 2.1 if you want/need to new SDK. I already have the old one installed and need to update my Xcode so that it works with iPhone OS 2.1 but do I have to download the whole thing again as opposed to a small update patch?

No, it's not trivial. More to the point, it's an infuriating solution. I'm on a 256 DSL line and it takes more than 17 hours - that's right almost an entire day! - to download the SDK. I've sent an email of complaint and called Dev Support with a complaint about this. There's no DVD option, no multi-set package download option. I've had to restart the entire download (anyone got the GetRight equivalent for the Mac?) twice! The first time, after 11 hours!
This is incredibly stupid of Apple. As I remarked to the Dev Support people, the worst part of developing for the Apple is dealing with Apple.

I've just updated my iPhone to the new iPhone OS and now it won't work and iTunes won't recognise that it's there. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled twice and it's not working. Please help.
I have not had wifi since November when I upgraded to the newest IOS version. I called the Apple help line and they told me some things to do and I tried them all and they worked for a few hours and then wifi shut off again. I kept doing what they told me and it worked for a couple more days and then I could never turn it on again. My blue tooth doesn't work either. I had to actually increase my data usage with AT&T becuase of this. When I did that in December I went to the Apple store and was told that it is a hardware issue and since my phone is out of warranty I would have to pay for a new phone because they could not fix the issue. My upgrade isn't up until June 2014 so not only do I have to wait for the upgrade and I am not paying for a new phone but I have to pay $10 plus extra a month on my cell phone bill because I was going over on my Data!!! I have been beyond upset about this and Apple is not doing anything about this nor did they offer up some way to resolve the issue because obviously it is not just some rare incident if several people are having this issue. Who knows how many people out there have had this issue and have not said anything about it. Now there is a newer update that I can't do because it requires wifi in order to download.
June can not get here fast enough and I may not go back to Iphone after dealing with this for so long with no help from Apple. -
I recently updated my iPhone to the new iOS and it no longer works with my inbuilt car bluetooth. Is it possible to restore to my previous iOS system?
Delete the pairing and then re-pair the devices.
There are no supported methods to downgrade the iOS. -
I have a new computer, Windows 8. My old laptop died and I used to Sync my iPad and iPhone on that device. Now I want to update, the new desktop computer states that I do not have permission. How do I change permissions to this new computer?

I updated my iPhone with the new update..and then it turned off...instead of turning back on it tells me to plug it into iTunes..and when I do iTunes tells me that my phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored..is there anything I can do without restoring it?
Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.

When I was updating my iphone to the new iOS at the final part (when the syncronization is beind done in iTunes), it never finshed. It's been more than 1 hour and it says "syncronizing step 2 of 4". What to do in this case?
