IPhone using VPN: why asking credentials each time?

Hello all,
I have a question related to the iPhone behavior.
Today I am using a laptop to connect to my company Cisco VPN. As my laptop is integrated into my company's domain, I don't need to enter my credentials when going to an internal website.
When using the iPhone, whatever internal site I access that requires authentication, it asks for my credentials.
Is there a way on phone or Cisco side to force authentication to happen according to VPN connection settings to avoid logging in each time ?

You can create a VPN profile using the iPhone Configuration Utility where you can hardcode all of the credentials. This enables you to simply activate the VPN and it will connect.

Thre are NOT duplicates.
ALL photos synced to iphone will be in the "Photo mediateka". You can ALSO access those exact same photos from you named folder. If you had mulitiple photos, then all of the photos would be in the "Photo mediateka" and you could also access the exact same pics from each of the folders.
You do not have duplicates. it is working exactly as it should.

You don't update itunes on your phone, you update itunes on your computer.

That suggests the tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".

ReStarting iPhone 5 causes Hotmail to open each time?

I have Hotmail, yahoo, and icloud email accounts all as pop3 setup on my iphone 5. when doing HOTMAIL I choose the hotmail under settings>add account.
never had issues on 3gs, 4,or 4s but with this phone since i got it from apple on day of launch waiting overnight in line. first i set it up using my backup via icloud in store before I left...all was good except a few playlists I had to redo.
Buit I redid the Hotmail 2 months back as I noticed my icon was a generic blue one with the @ sign in center of it. when I noticed my wifes had the nice Orange Hotamail icon.... so I deleted account and redid it using the Hotmail choice as mentioned above.
Ever since each time I turn off phone and restart It opens Hotmail and gets new mail. I have ALL accounts set to manual as I get mail on my schedule so it doesn't do it on its own...we see how well thats working.
I have FETCH NEW DATA >OFF but i do notice (under Hotmail Advanced) it shows mail days to sync= no limit (that way i can view older emails i have in many folders on Hotmail.
I also have "MAIL FOLDERS TO PUSH" set for inbox... the choices are any off the various folders I have on Hotmail so I have to chose one of them
I have Googled issue with no luck so I come here for some expert advice

Hotmail still supports exchange sync. There are hundreds people on these boards who are crying over the fact that gmail discontinued exchange sync support for free accounts two months ago. Hotmail is the only one that I know of that is left. You are kind of a dinosaur, if you will, in your preference of pop and fetch instead of easy sync and push. Anyway, you can go back to your making Hotmail set as pop account (which is really dumb and asking for trouble) or you can enjoy a bliss of last free exchange support. You already know what to do either way.
Since there was no particular question in your "question" that is the best I can do, that is me far from being an expert.

but after upgrading IOS 5.0, it occured some problem.

but SSID set it up again each time and put a userID / Password when we connect wifi
i read other comment that user sloved problem using iPhone Configuration Utility in apple support communites but it bother our staff.

I am trying to export a movie through imovie using the share function, but each time imovie seizes up and stops working about halfway through the rendering process and I can't proceed and have to turn off the computer. Can this be fixed?

I am using iMovie and can't seem to complete a render of a completed project through the sharing/media browser. Trying to create a medium size movie that I can then access in iDVD to burn a DVD.
But each time I try, iMovie quits on me about halfway through the rendering process.
I have successfully used media browser to create other movies, but now it doesn't work.
Anybody know of any fixes or troubleshooting?

When trying to troubleshoot my problem I discovered a forum that was saying certain NTFS drives work just fine
Apple support says that an NTFS or exFAT drive cannot be used when connected to the AirPort Extreme.
I suppose it is possible that someone might have been using some type of special software on the drive that might perform a "conversion", but without more details, it is hard to know.
Note: ExFAT and NTFS formats aren't supported.

Anyone successfully ePrint from iPhone using VPN?

Just got an HP C410A ... set it up (wired and Wi-Fi), can print to it from my Mac.
If I connect my iPhone 4 (yes, with the printing firmware to my LAN (via VPN and Wi-Fi),
I can see my Mac (and telnet into it ... but the airprint stuff in the iPhone can't find any printers.
Any suggestions?
BTW, I'm assuming what should happen if it ever successfully talks to the printer is that I'll somehow
get prompted for the printer's "email address" to verify I have the right to access it.
But, if that's the case, why does the config page on the printer ask for a predefined list of *my* email addresses? Is that
for some other feature? (E.g., ability to email a print job to the printer?)

I think you're right, some soon-to-be-working-at-Oracle employee mis-designed the **bleep** thing to
shut off the Wi-Fi when a LAN cable gets plugged in.
This, of course, is completely contrary to the stated-on-the-box capabilities of the printer ("has wired and wireless
networking" ... doesn't say "wired OR wireless").
Sigh ... I'll submit a problem report, but I suspect nothing will happen.
In my environment, the Wi-Fi is in a DMZ, and the wired is in a trusted area. My desktop needs the wired
connection to print, and my iPhone / iPad needs the wireless. So, I currently have to unplug the wire whenever
I want to print from the iPhone/iPad, and plug it back in when I'm done.
I'd deduced eprint was implemented via email after a test. We've used something similar for a few years
with our Konica Minolta BizHub. It's a shame HP didn't work with Apple to support ePrint on the iPhone/iPad
in addition to airprint. (ePrint's advantage over airprint is the same as for email vs. web "mail" pages ...
it removes the need for both devices to be alive and communicating at the same time.)
BTW, yes, the HP C410A does support Airprint. After configuring our WiFi access point to allow devices to see each other,
my iPhone (iOS 4.2) was able to find the the C410 and print on it! (It doesn't use the email-based ePrint.)

Normally I would agree with you but I think the way it's presented is different to an invitation to buy. For example, elsewhere in the 'Legal Stuff' section it covers nill-charges for Direct Debit payments, the fact that the Hub is free for new BB customers, the unlimited evening and weekend qualifying numbers and periods, the fact the unlimited wi-fi is included etc.
If you agreed to take this package, would you accept it if BT didn't actually comply with any of these statements and they simply said, sorry, that was a mistake - we don't actually do that? Surely you would be a bit miffed to say the least. I'm sure you would say, hang on, you can't charge me even though I'm paying by Direct Debit - it should be free - it says so in the legal section.
Well, that's how I view the statement about the cost of the Hub Phone. It's more than an invitation to buy because it's in the legal section. To my mind they're making it part of the purchase contract. I expect to get free evening and weekend calls if I sign up, so I also expect to be able to buy a hub phone for £39.99, because they're both mentioned in the legal section. If that section isn't part of the contract with the customer, why is it called that?

There are four possible causes of the activation error:
The activation server is unavailable. Rare, but it happens. Usually fixed within minutes.
Your antivirus or firewall (or your router's firewall) is blocking access to the domain gs.apple.com on ports 80 and 443.
Your phone is jailbroken.
Your phone isn't jailbroken, but the computer you are connected to during the restore or update was used to hack or jailbreak some other iOS device, and its network database was corrupted in the process.
Perhaps this will provide you some clues as to how to proceed. If your iPhone has not been jailbroken, Apple has some troubleshooting suggestions here:

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

My iphone keeps updating about 500 files each time I sync

I haven't made changes to all of these files, including Christmas songs, but they nevertheless keep getting updated whenever I sync. Also, there is about 140 photos that keep getting optimized during the sync as well. Does anyone know why it keeps repeating this? I would think that once the photos are optimized for the phone, they wouldn't need to be done again.

I to use iphoto library manager to save corrupted iphoto and each time it saves some and the first time it brings up iphoto, iphone goes into "not responding" mode. Using mac book pro, iphoto 9.5.1, and maverick 10.9.2.

I've had issues with my iPhoto "not responding" and as a result I am attempting to save my photos to an external hard drive using iPhoto library Manager but each time I start the program it saves some, and then when it starts iPhoto, iPhoto then goes into not responding mode. Using mac book pro, iphoto 9.5.1, and maverick 10.9.2. I have completed all of the photo library first aid steps several times, but it makes no difference, iphoto eventually goes to "not responding." Initial issues started with Time Machine back ups stopping because of iphoto. Thanks......

Do you have a back up?
If you're just trying to recover the photos you can do that much more simply:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Originals' or 'Masters'. (varies according to the version of iPhoto)
Your photos are inside - these are the originals as imported from your camera.
