Iphone version update ****
Help....... I have an iphone 4, and its installed with 4.1 version, i tried updating it to 4.2 when that came out but it would not update. i left it because i just thought i was doing somthing wrong but now 4.3 version has come out i really want to update it, i followed the steps to update and it goes through the process but at the end says connection has timed out please check network settings. i have reset my network settings and re-tried but without success....

I now have a useless $700 phone. Updated iTunes to latest version (and can't get it to revert back to an earlier version), updated iPhone (iPhone5) to iOS 7 and now it won't talk to iTunes, nor will it connect to my WiFi. What should I try now?
If it won't talk at all to iTunes, you can hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds, it will power off, this is ok, then let go of the power button while holding the home button until iTunes sees it as a device in recovery mode. You can try to reinstall iOS7 and then restore.

Thnksssssss....So you are saying that you followed all of the steps in the support document for problems with connection, including removing and reinstalling iTunes? You do not say what you have tried, so it is hard to make recommendations. If this is the case, then you have tried resolving driver issues? What if you go to Device Manager and look for the iPhone. You should be able to click on it and see about drivers. You can update/reinstall the device driver.

I tried to update my nephew iphone 4 version 4.3.4 (8k2), I did back-up everything before attempting to update and the result when I click down-load and update, it does not update instead it says, itunes could not contact the iphone software update server because you are not connected to the internet. I did check my wire-less connections and the connection from my PC to wire-less is hundred percent okay. I did search using google.com to confirm and my connections is good. After update to 10.5.3.3 Itunes crashes on convert video to ipod or iphone version and diagnostics
I upgraded to Itunes 10.5.3.3 today since the dialog box appeared and now it crashes when I select a podcast and create ipod or iphone version from the advanced menu item. I tried running Diagonostics from the Help menu item and it also crashes. Using IPhone 4S.

For myself, the solution was to install an updated version of ClamAV. Since I'd done this prior to the 10.5.4 release, I can't comment on whether an update will solve your issue (although I doubt it would, since the update didn't mess with my ClamAV settings).

I'm still having this issue. I also had the same issue when trying to download a large update for an app (43MB). I can download and install smaller udpates but I can't even download the large updates. I've checked all of my firewall settings and they are fine. I've turned off the firewall when trying to download the update and it still does not work. It just keeps saying that my network connection timed out.
I'm not at the stage where I can't install new apps because it requires the latest OS version on my iphone which I can't get! -
in trying to update my dad's iphone version, i connected it to my computer. now i am getting the restore itunes symbol. what do I do? If I restore it, will he loose all of his contacts?
By the "restore iTunes symbol" do you mean a USB cable and the iTunes symbol? If so the device is in Recovery Mode and the device has already been erased and it needs to be Restored using iTunes. If your Dad had a backup you can Restore from backup after the iPhone is up and running. Follow the link for instructions > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

I opened a family iCloud sharing account recently, at first I was able to share photos but now all I can do is receive photos and comments. I currently have the iPhone 6 updated to the current version. Is there something wrong with my phon? I restarted it as well as checked all of my connections the wifi is fine, but all I can do is recieive photos and comments. What could possibly be wrong?
1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -
I downloaded the new update for the iPhone 4, then left my computer and it went to sleep. I came back to it to update my phone and the message "The iPhone software update server could not be contacted." How can I fix this? I have already checked my LAN settings.

IPad App Approved, How to Build/Submit iPhone Version?
I've got an iPad app approved and working well through iTunes, but now that the feature is available, I want to publish this for iPhone. I've got a few questions about the best process:
FYI—I've already got my new folios created for iPhone resolutions (as renditions with the same Product ID).
1. Is it best that I build an iPhone and iPad version of the app and submit it to Apple as a Version update (can I even do this with Apple)? Or should I build just an iPhone version and submit that as a separate app?
2. Why do I not get the iTunes Subscription option when I try to build the app in Viewer Builder (I chose to make an app for both iPhone and iPad). Multi-Issue is selected and grayed out so I can't change it.

When I open Viewer Builder and try to modify the app (v19, multi-issue) you couldn't go back and select ipad and iphone devices with iOS.
I didn't try, but I think you probably have to create a new app with the same ID and settings, new certificates, etc... and submit to Apple this new one as an update.

Can't restore 3G - "iPhone software update server could not be contacted"
my phone was stolen and subsequently returned to me. an incorrect passcode was inserted on numerous occassions by the thief and this action has subsequently blocked my phone.
it no longer accepts my original passcode.
i've managed to get the phone in to recovery mode but when i try and restore it, i get a message saying: "The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. The network connection timed out."
i proceeded to installed the latest version of iTunes; and turned off my firewall. i also rebooted the computer - to no avail.
Please help!yeah, i've done that too. i'm getting a message that says "coreFoundation.dll was not found" so i'm downloading it right now...
