IPhone voicemail box help.
hey everybody. My iPhone will not let me get to my voice mailbox. When I hit the mailbox it asks for number to leave a voicemail for and asks if I have a mailbox on the system. I hit # and it asks me for my 4 digit number. I have absolutely no idea what it is. I may have voicemails from some people I haven't talked to in a while. So I really would like to have them. Is there any way to get them and start using my voicemailbox? This happened before the 2.0 update so it wasn't that. Even though it is still happening. Thanks. I really appreciate it.
Hi, I just got an iphone and had this problem. I believe it was because I had them take off the data package, and that means no visual voicemail. What I found out was, I needed to call at&t (1-800-331-0500), and tell them I needed my voicemail reset up and I wanted a BASIC VOICEMAIL BOX. The lady was very nice and had it set up in just a few minutes.

Having the imei won't help you find your phone.
If you setup and enabled find my phone prior to losing it then go to icloud.com
If you didn't set it up - then there nothing you can do.
Call your carrier and let them know, change all your passwords. -
My 3GS iphone voicemail no longer works
My 3GS iPhone voicemail no longer works after installing OS 4.2. My ATT voicemail box still works ok. I've reset the password and network. Any ideas? ATT can't help as they think its a problem with the phone.
A call comes in, gets listed as a missed call and shows up as missed call. No indication nor a message saying that a voice mail has been left. When I dial my ATT voice mail box by holding down the 1 key, I have a message waiting. Used to be when voice mail arrived there would be an indicator lit on the voice mail icon on the phone and I could listen to the voice mail via the visual voice mail on the phone.

Looking to set up a public voicemail box
Hi guys, I'm looking to set up a public voicemail box that users can call into to check messages. I want to have a few users with admin privledges that can add/delete messages, and everyone else with read-only access. Is this possible?
still looking for some help with this, another question I had was how to disable a voice mail user, to stop any type of voice mails from coming to them.

When importing photos from my iPhone black boxes appear in place of random photos in the iPhoto library and in Photostream. It has no apparent pattern, the photos are just blank. It's not just icons, when I go to edit the photos externally in Photoshop it opens an image filled with nothing but black.
This is more than annoying. It's effectively deleting photos I'm taking on vacation and so forth.
Anyone?The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Has any one used Lumia 920. ? Please can you share if Lumia 920 has internal (it's own) voicemail box i.e. we don't need to call operator's voicemail box to retreive our voice messages. ?

melon mobile actually makes some great software for symbian. i use it on all my kids phones.
also the IVCM is even better IMO as you can create call lists of individuals and create different voicemail greetings! like, Hi Jill, I am listening to you leave a message and if I wanted to talk to you right now, I would pick up!" lol.

1. the options are available, more than one, so he is not off his rocker.
2. it is not "integrated" it is a 3rd-party software made for a mobile platform. so you would, like in the past, have to purchase the software seperately.

Is the IMEI number on the box.

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS. -

Then you'll have to use another iOS device or Mac running OS X Lion or higher to create a new account for you to use on your phone. If you don't have one, perhaps a friend would allow you to create and account on their device (note: this will use one of their three maximum accounts). To do this, they would need to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which will delete the account from their device but not from iCloud), then allow you to sign back in with your ID to create the new account. Then tap Delete Account to delete the new account from their device, and finally, sign back in with their iCloud ID to restore their iCloud account to their device. Then you can sign in with your ID on your phone in Settings>iCloud and use the new account.

what is the limit in voicemail? I have a new iphone4 and have been told my voicemail box is full but I also deleted voice mail before 13 June
With AT&T, the limit is 40 messages at 4 minutes per message.

It's strange because I can change my AppleID country without this message.
So what to do? Just try to do this again, but on another device. You may also erase cookies and history of your browser.

I purchased an audiobook in Nov 2012 using iPhone 4S and then upgraded to iPhone 5 in Dec. Now I am not seeing the audio book in purchase history in iTunes. This means I am not able to get the book in my new iPhone. Please help.
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store.
