Iphone volume bottom doesnt work!

hi, im trying to put volume to my iphone but it doest respond, the volum key down work but not up...

yes i have it on a case, but i did also tried without a case and its not working.
from the setting menu it work, but i dont want to keep going into setting everytime i want to put some volume up.

you could try forcing it into recovery mode by turning it off, hold the home button and plug it into iTunes at the same time, keep holding the home button until iTunes says its detected a device that needs to be updated or restored. Then restore.

Usually the issue is caused by hardware, especially if there is an indication of machine failure in the crash log or other screen image text.
A working last model MacBook (mid-2010) would be a better 'first mac' to have.
Hopefully you can sort it out.
If not, there likely are fair parts in it.

Tecra P5 - Volume control doesnt work properly

Since upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit I can't turn the volume all the way down by using the volume control at the front of the notebook. Worked fine under Vista 32 bit.
The volume control still works but no matter how far I wind it to the left there is still sound coming from the speakers.
Any help appreciated.

As far as I know volume control in the past was mechanical but now it works on different way and it is controlled by specific tool/utility.
To be honest Tecra P5 is not known to me but obviously it is Australian notebook model and according to Australian support page this notebook model is not supported for Windows 7.
That doesnt mean you cannot use it but this means there is not software package designed for Windows 7 that can be installed so I think there is no much you can do about it.
I know it is annoying but for volume control you can use Windows option placed in task bar.

Volume control doesnt work through headphones.....

i have a iphone 3gs, and i am using the headphones i got with the phone,
the problem im having is, the volume control on the headphones dont work, the middle button works, like i can change songs and pause, but for some reason i cant up or down the volume through the headphones, i have done it before through the headphones but now they dont work,
is there something i need to do? like any settings or is it a fault in the headphones!!

Plug the headphones in and out a few times while a song or something is playing. This has worked a few times for me. If this doesn't work then turn the iPhone off and back on. This will more than most likely fix your problem.
Make sure you are on the most current firmware. If this doesn't fix it then you could back up your data and then do a restore. Still nothing ... make an appointment with Apple to look at it. Good Luck!

If no change after resetting network settings on your iPhone and restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, you can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

All my top line in the keyboard is not functioning as what its suppose to like f12 , f11, f10 i cant but the volume high or lower

not sure what you're saying - F10 = Mute, F11 = Lowers the volume and F12 = increases the volume.
if none of those work - try doing a SMC RESET or a NVRAM/PRAM RESET and see if that sorts it out for you.
more than likely, you need a NVRAM/PRAM RESET.

Self-made iPhone 4 accesoiry doesnt work

I have made my own iPhone 4 accesoiry. It's a charger that works with 4 AA batteries.
This is how it's made:
4 AA batteries -----> 7805CT Voltage Regulator -----> Female USB Jack
I have measured the outbut of the usb jack and it was 5V 1A (just like the iphone needs).
I have measured the usb port of my iMac too and that was also 5V and 1A.
But when i connect my accesoiry to my iphone 4 it says : "Charging is not supported with this accesoiry"
Everything is connected the right way because i can charge my PSP with it.
Is this something in the iPhone 4 system? How can i solve it?

I reply here again because the boxes were becoming too small. I just wired everything up with crocodile wires (or how that's called) and some inprovising because i didn't had enough of them. It didn't work but it was a complex wiring :
It's almost midnight over here and tomorrow i have to take exam so i'm going to bed now. Tomorrow i wil get the resistors i need and some more crocodile wires. Thanks for helping me out today!
