Iphone wants password for itunes store at random times

I have an iphone 5s and it is popping up a window asking for my password for itunes store. I'll enter it and it will stay clear for a while and then pops back up. what gives?

Did you try getting Mindy's aa-s on it? I heard she can fix anything with her big beautiful a-ss!

    Just use the same Apple ID and password that you used to access this forum - that's your Apple ID.
    The user name and password on your computer has nothing to do with your Apple ID.

    Apple Id or password for iTunes store

    They should be the same - assuming that you used the same ID to buy the apps that you are using to update the apps - you should be able to update them. You use the same Apple ID and iTunes account for iTunes media purchases and for app store Purchases. If for some reason the password isn't working try this.
    Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. Make sure that the ID is correct on the iPad. If the ID is correct but it is not being recognized - sign out of the account, restart the iPad and then sign in again
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Then go to Settings>Store>and sign into your account again and see if you can download now.

    I have search the web alot and i have check lots of Iranian and English website but have not find any solution for
    this problem . Today I have find a software called "Hide my IP" i have opened up that
    when this software was opened , itunes have said "iTunes can't verify the identify of the server "init.itunes.apple.com"".
    then i have click on "continue" then iTunes said "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. An unknown error occurred (310)."
    And theres a matter that i think that have a connection with this topic and thats , that when i want to go to the lots
    of websites like Google Yahoo! Mail and lots of other website my both browser ( FireFox and IE ) will say" This connection is untrusted " .
    I think the solution of my second problem is the solution of my first problem too !

    Tried all the rest on this site did not work for me

    iCloud:
    Settings > iCloud > Delete Account then lock in with your Apple ID.
    FaceTime:
    Switch Settings > FaceTime > FaceTime OFF and switch back on with your Apple ID.

    Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

    Every time I try to open up iTunes store, it wouldn't open. I ran the diagnostics report and it said the ( for first time ) that "Secure link for iTunes store failed". The second time I ran it, just to make sure, said that "secure link for iTunes store is successful. I got confused.     I have the same problem and I'm beyond frustrated. I just want iTunes 10.5 to work properly so I can download iOS 5 to my iPad. I've uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled iTunes (and all other apple programs) a dozen times.  I've uninstalled Norton since I read that might be causing the block. I've checked my firewall and have done a "flush". I'm out of ideas!!!

    Hello.. I am an American currently living in Australia. We have a US iTunes account since we move around and originate from there. I'm trying to download a free iPhone app from the iTunes store but it is only available in the Australia iTunes store. Does anyone know a work around for pulling a free app from another country's iTunes store into a device synched with the US store?

    You'll need to open up a second account in the Australian iTunes Store. If you only want the free iPhone apps, take a look here:

    Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical.
    You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

    I have got the same problem. I am  using windows 8.1, latest version of iTunes, Symantec NIS.  My internet connection is working.
    My apple Id and my password are correct since they work on my iPad and on my iPhone.
    message is "ware sorry.we cannot complete your request on the itunes store at this time."   And in smaller letters : "try again later". Which i did many times over several days.  Just does not work.

    Try this:
    Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
    Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
       1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
           other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
       2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
           until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
                  * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
                    Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
                    release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
      3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
           device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
           let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some

    I've been getting the same message for like an hour now.  Since everything was working fine a few hours ago, and nothing changed on my end before it stopped working, I'm guessing it's something on Apple's end.  They probably already know about it by now, and are hopefully working on fixing it, so there's probably not much we can do but wait for them to fix it.
