IPhone WAP web redirection ... how to stop?

Hi,
When I browse to various web sites, the sites in question insist on re-directing me to the WAP version of the sites.
Does anyone know how I can ensure I don't get redirected and I go to the full version of the site.
Hotmail is a good example of this.

as said before, its not the iPhone doing this, its the website you are going to thats causing this.
if you can find out what the actual address of the desktop version is and then type that in, it will work.
for example, MySpace has two different addresses...one for the mobile version and one for the desktop version...neither are actually just www.myspace.com, but if you type in www.myspace.com it will redirect you to either one, depending on the device you are using to get there...so technically the iPhone is still considered a cellphone, so you will get directed to the mobile version, unless you knew the actual address for the desktop version and typed that in instead.

No way to completely stop it. When you plug in the power cord, it will chime, or it will vibrate (if the mute switch is on), but the device is designed to one of the other. I suppose it is the designers way of making sure that you know your device is properly connected and has switched over to external power. At this point in time, that feature cannot be disabled.

I have itunes set up to sync with my Ipod Touch and my Ipad. As of today, it keeps looking for an iPhone to sync with and give me an error message. I don't have an iPhone and don't know how to stop it from popping open with this error message.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Please check Discoverer configuration guide which tells you which parameter to change in preference file(pref.txt).I think you change the value.

And, if you want Aperture to launch when you connect your camera, but not when you connect your iPhone, open Image Capture when your iPhone is connected, highlight your iPhone in the sidebar, and select the No Application option in the lower left-hand corner where it says "connecting this iPhone opens"
You can have different options for each device.

Go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive> Is your phone number checked there? If you do not want your email used, then tap on them and remove the checkmark. If there is no checkmark by your phone number, then turn iMessage off, perform a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Turn iMessage on. When it activates, check your settings again under Send and Receive and make sure the number is checked and the emails are not.

Log out of the old ID, then login using the new one with the correct pw.

works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1). Try again. with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only. (you cannot get rid of the subject) with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.

I installed the Ebay app on my iPad - it was the yellow one for phone and pad. It worked fine. A few weeks later they released an iPad version which I downloaded just fine and deleted the iPhone version from the iPad.
Now of course the iPad wants to update the old version even though I've deleted it from the iPad. I can't delete it from iTunes because it's on my iPhone.
