IPhone - Who has MP3 support working?
I'm at a loss trying to get mp3 support working. And I'm very surprised they don't have a sample app for it. Right now I'm tweaking some code from the audio recorder sample. But when I'm trying to playback my sample MP3, it seems to work fine, but there is no sound. Anyone have sample code working with MP3's?
So far caf files have been working fine for my small sound effects. But I have a short sound bit that is too long for the system audio. And as a aiff/caf file its too big so I want to distribute it as an MP3.

FYI, you can only play one MP3 at a time, so I suggest using MP3s for background music, and wavs or cafs for short sounds.

hello, my iphone 4 has just stopped working it has gone blank..i plugged it into my laptop and it the apple sign keeps flashing it wont connect to itunes either :/ HELP!!!

Please do anyhow. .anything ...you are the creater of apple.. I know you can do it. .please do anything that iphone 3g will support ios 5 ro greater than that..The 3G was discontinued over 2yrs ago.
The 3GS was only discontinued about a month ago.
Apple made the decision that the 3G would not get anything newer than 4.2.1 because of reasons only they know.
Griping about it is pointless.
Speculating about why is against the terms of use of these forums.
The device is ancient... either accept that it will never get an update and live with it or buy something newer. -
The sound on my Iphone 4 has completely stopped working.
I can't hear any sound at all, except when my headphones are plugged in. If I do get the sound to work, as soon as I use the volume button it quits again. I have tried rebooting my phone, but I don't want to do any more than that because I am not the one who does the hardware work on my phone. My boyfriend does the work but he is about 20 hours away. The lock sounds will work for a little bit but when I try and listen to any of my ringtones it quits working again. I have uninstalled the app that I use for my ringtones but it did not wipe the ringtones out of my phone. I am at a loss of why my phone has sound one minute then quits then next.
Clean the iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush.

How can I transfer some of my Itunes songs from my computer to my husband's iphone? He has a different apple ID and every time I do this, my IMac says it will erase and sync. I've checked the manual manage box but no luck.

So you have two different computers?
Just enable Home Sharing and he can copy the songs from you iTunes to his then he can sync his iPhone to his iTunes.

My iPhone 5 has not been working properly please help!!
I have a 16GB iPhone 5 with the latest update (iOS 7.1.2) and lately (about a week or so) it's not been working right. It first started where the screen would freeze and then I'd have to click the power button and return to lock screen I get it to work again, or sometimes even turn off my phone. Then one day I tried to take a picture and it wouldn't let me?? So I turned off my phone and when I turned it back on it worked again. Then the other day I went to play music and it wouldn't let me. First I tried from the itube app then thought maybe the app wasnt working, so I went to my iTunes music on my phone and that wasn't working. It wouldn't let me press play/pause/next. basically it wouldn't let me do anything and then it just froze. I put it to sleep and went back to my music about 30min later and it was fine. Then today my screen froze so I held down the power button to turn it off. Nothing happened for 10 seconds then the screen just went black, no little spinny thing like what normally comes up when it powers off. Then no matter what I did it wouldn't turn on. I looked up on here how to fix this and found a solution (plugging it into my computer and holding the power and home button for 20 seconds). Anyway, basically what my problem is is that I dont want my phone to be like this? Should I take it in to be looked at or is there maybe an app causing this ?? I honestly have no idea and it just recently started being like this (I've had this phone for 3 months and it's new. It still has about 5GB of space left). Please let me know if you have a solution or if this phone just is like this. Sorry if this isn't very descriptive :/ Ive been able to get my phone working again every time so far, but next time I might not and I really want to fix it. Thank you!!

Native Compilation of pl/sql: who has got it working on win2000?
These are the parameters you need to set:
alter system set plsql_native_library_dir = '<A VALID DIR>'
alter system set plsql_native_make_utility = 'make'
alter system set plsql_native_make_file_name = '${ORACLE_HOME}\plsql\spnc_makefile.mk'
alter session set plsql_compiler_flags = 'NATIVE'
/Provide a valid directory for the parameter plsql_native_library_dir. This is where the compiled DLL files will be stored.
Substitute ${ORACLE_HOME} with your Oracle home directory.
For plsql_native_make_utility parameter, you can specify GNU make utility or can use the Microsoft nmake utility.
The make file used for compilation is stored in ${ORACLE_HOME}\plsql\spnc_makefile.mk.
After you setup these parameters, all you have to do is create your procedure/function/package the way you normally do. Oracle will automatically compile the code into a DLL in the directory you specified above.
Depending on your Oracle version, you may not have the library file orapls9.lib. It is required by the compiler for Oracle procedure calls.
I used the Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 C++ compiler and it worked.

It's under warranty for a year.
Contact your nearest Apple Store and bring it in to be serviced.

My Iphone 5 has recently stopped working on my home wi-fi and my car bluetooth. The phone will connect to other wi-fi devices but nothing on the bluetooth at all. Other devices are able to connect to the home wi-fi.
I have reset network settings and reset all settings. Still it wont connect to the home wi-fi or my car.
I have since taken my car in for it to be checked by the garage and am having the same problems in my courtesy car.
Short of throwing the phone out of the window any suggestions how I can fix it?

Hi, I have an iphone 4 with my itunes library on a Windows XP computer. My spouse (who has now passed away) had an itouch with an itunes library on an IMac. here is the problem, I bought an new iphone 6 and wanted to sync with my windows xp library and of course my itunes version is out of date and I need to update it...well I try and update the version and it will not update the Itunes library and when I researched it I would have to upgrade from XP to Windows 7...r they kidding me...first of all my computer is old and a pain in the *** but I have my itunes library on it. Sp to get my phone working I sync'd it on the IMac and my spouses Itunes library has been sync'd to my iphone and I don't know how to get my library on it...After thinking about it I want to combine the libraries after all there are some purchases on each one.
I have done some research and you have to buy a 3rd party piece of software...this is not the way I want to go...I do not think i should have to buy one and also when I do a goole search there are a ton of them out there and I am sorry i do not trust the comments as some of them do identify that they will get a kick back.
Can someone help, i should be able to export my itunes library from my iphone 4 to the itunes library by appending/importing it...it is not rocked science on what I want to do and I cannot find out any process...

Why has Siri stopped working on iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 5? I've tried the disable and reboot but continue to get the network error.
Apple has not been forthcoming on the explanation. My Siri worked on my iphone4 (not 4s) immediately after upgrading to IOS5, but I take it they have redirected the servers that used to support Siri to only work with Iphone4s.
It is one thing for apple to only bundle the improved Siri with IPhone 4S, or for them to remove Siri from the Ap store.
But it is another thing all together for apple to purchase a company, and then cease the service that many of us paid for.
Attempts to contact apple at apple store and via email have been unhelpful.
