IPhone will not show up in iTunes (iPhone 3G 2.2.1 iTunes 8.1.1)

My iPhone refuses to appear in iTunes 8.1.1. Reinstaling iTunes don't solve the problem, but when I plug it in, iPhoto opens immediately and downloads pics but nothing with iTunes.
I was follow instruction in Apple article TS1591 and HT1747 and the problem continues.
I was call Apple Support in my country, and I was talk about 1 hour waiting non thelephone with operator Liz and arround half an hour with engineer Pitter. No solution for me

I have an iMac G5 with Leopard 10.5.6 and iTunes 8.1.1 too and the same iPhone 3G works , it is show in iTunes, but not in my MacBook Pro

Hotmail emails in my inbox on the server but will not show up on my iPhone?

Help - I have hotmail emails in my inbox on my computer but they will not show up on my iPhone. I am using the "Windows Live Hotmail" option in the settings. The specific emails are not marked as junk, still in my inbox, they are addressed to me, they span about 2 weeks with some as recent as 3 days ago and are all from 3 specific people regarding my sons baseball team. I have tried deleting my account and setting it back up. I've added the email addresses to my contacts to see if that helped. I didn't have this issue when I used the generic pop 3 type of setup. I moved to the Windows Live Hotmail setup so when I delete an email from my iphone it also deletes it from the server. This is all working perfectly. I don't actually log into the server very often and almost missed this email. Thanks!
PS - this is an iPhone 4 that I have had for about a year. I am on iOS 5.0.1 and the phone says it is up to date....

Thank you for asking your question! It sounds like iTunes Match playlists are not syncing correctly to your iPad, even though you have already toggled iTunes Match off then on again. I would next turn iTunes Match back off, then close all the apps on the iPad:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone then try turning on iTunes Match again to test the issue:

Check the site of the manufacturer and see if there is an update for your router and install it. If there isn't one try restarting your router by pulling the plug on it and plugging it back in.

iTunes does not yet support Windows 8, so there may not be a fix until such time as Apple releases a version of iTunes that does support 8. You can search this forum for "windows 8", though, and perhaps you'll find a suggestion in one of the other threads on the issue.

Manually syncing does not fix your problem and is not that comfortable. If it still does not work, I would suggest to check your iCloud settings on your Mac as well, because there is no reason that it does not work if you set up your account on all your devices.

IPhone will not show new email in folders other than Inbox on Yahoo

I have setup Yahoo email account. I have several folders within my yahoo account (15+), now the new email notification ( sound and new email icon ) works only on Inbox, If I have new email in my other folder, iPhone will not notify unless I go inside that folder.
Has anyone seen this problem and is there a workaround ?

MY iphone connects to my pc andimports photos etc but will not, for love nor money, show in itunes so i cannot put any music onto my new device. i have un-installed and re-installed itunes, i have restarted the apple mobile device service numerous times and it will just not work. what am i doing wrong?
i am on ios 7.0.5 and trying to link directly with lightening usb cable. i cannot sync on wifi as it is a new phone and says i must connect to a computer to then set up the wifi sync.
