IPhone with iOS7 is no longer detected in iCloud... "you must be signed into iOS8 to see devices"
I have an iPhone with iOS7, but the device is no longer detected in iCloud. iCloud is set up on my device, it used to detect it... now it says "you must be signed into iOS8 to see devices." Is there a way to detect an iPhone with iOS7 without upgrade?
Simple solution may be to upgrade iOS, but I just lost my phone, and am trying to use 'find my iPhone' feature but my iPhone is not even recognized as a device I own in the iCloud. What about the backup of everything I have on my iPhone that was supposed to be stored in the iCloud?? Please help!
(By the way, I should have pointed out in my earlier posting that I'm running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on my Mac). I Just installed latest Yosemite update while my iPhone was switched off, and when my Mac restarted, the 'iPhone Cellular Calls' checkbox in the FaceTime preferences was checked and the problem was therefore solved. Switched on my iPhone, still fine. Relief.

Updated my iphone with iOS7.0.3, still dont have the option to reject the call or reject the call with a message when someone call and the phone is in the lock screen? I was of the impression that this issue will be fixed with updates. Please see the screenshot.

This is when the phone is unlocked mode. My snapshot is when the phone is locked.
Remember when you get a call when the phone is locked and you used to have slide to answer in iOS 6 and if you slide up you would have options to reject, reject with a message and reject with a reminder. We dont have that in iOS 7. iOS 7 *****, I cannot get back to iOS6, apple needs to be user friendly. Screen shot 1 when the phone is locked, screenshot 2 when the phone is unlocked. -
When I updated by iphone with IOS7, my calendar entries did not follow the icloud. I am only showing pre set calendar entries for the year and lost all other calendar entrie and it will not take any new entries. They show up in my outlook, but not on my iphone, which they did before I updated my software to the new i0s7
Before syncing, select each calendar on your Mac and back it up by going to File>Export>Export. If anything goes missing, you can use these to restore your calendars.
Have you tried simply force closing the calendar app on your iPhone? To do this, double-tap the home button, locate the calendar app, then swipe up on the image above the app icloud to close it and tap the home bottom. Then test your calendar again. -

You need an device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) with iOS 5 if you want to use iCloud. Furthermore it is also not possible to open www.icloud.com with Safari on an iOS device.

If someone could help me out with this that would be great. I updated my iPhone to iOS7 on Wednesday September 18th, 2013. My messages always got sent to my iMessage on the MacBook before without any problems. But, eversince the update I don't get my texts sent to my computer anymore. I actually use the IMessage on my laptop to text sometimes and find it very useful. Anyway, my contact shows up on IMessage now as my email that I use for iCloud as well as my Apple Account. I just find it aggravating when I send a text from iMessage and it comes up as my email account. Is there any way to fix it so that my messages will get sent to my iMessage on my phone as well as the iMessage here on my macbook as well? Please help me. Thank you!
Do you mean when you say its locked to another carrier other then the one im using, that maybe my insurance sent me an iphone thats for a different network for example orange and not mine which is o2?

After I update iTunes and my iPhone to iOS7. I cannot find the way to sync music to my phone
It indicate that I open iTunes Match, and not allow me to select playlists to be synced in my phone
How can I solve that? I tried to find way to turn off iTunes Match but it's not like in iOS6If you have an iPhone 5, try a hard restart of the phone (holding the on/off and home buttons at the same time until the phone turns off then restarts. Don't let go of either button until it begins to restart). I was having the same problem and spent about an hour with Apple Support thru Chat. That was what solved the problem.

How to limit number of mail messages on iPhone with iOS7?
Is there a way to limit the number of inbox email messages showing? On iOS6, it was in Settings under Mail but this option is not there on iOS7 Is it hiding somewhere else? If this isn't an option at all, are there any suggestions on a work around? Without it, a lot of memory is being wasted. Thanks!

IPhone with iOS 6 no longer receives iMessages (SMS only)
I'm working with a friend who's having an odd issue with his iPhone (iOS 6). I used to be able to use iMessage to reach him via his phone number, but now I see an error when I use that same number: "+1 (xxx) xxx-xxx is not registered with iMessage."
We've verified that Messages is turned on and enabled on the phone. The phone number is listed as a valid channel (alongside his iCloud e-mail) for iMessages. We've reset the phone. Turned Messages on and off. Nothing seems to re-enable Messasges to his phone number.
If I send a Message via my iPhone to his, it is always an SMS.
If I send a Message to him via his iCloud e-mail, it is always an iMessage and arrives on both iPhone and computer.

iMessages and Facetime are not available in some countries, so please check it first.
Be sure you do not turn on Restrictions in your device.
Try to unsign and sign in again.
For FaceTime and iMessage chosse to use your email address instead of your mobile number.
Go to Settings>>Message>>Send&Receive and set your email address.
If it is still not working, unsign your Apple ID and select your mobile number ("+" "country code" "mobile number")
Go to www.apple.com or Settings>>iCloud then access your Apple ID. There you can edit your information, placing your phone number and tap OK. then go to iMessage settings and mark your phone number to receive iMessages.
Also check in: Settings>>Message if you turned on iMessage before. Here, turn off "Show Subject Field".
Change your address for your currently location. If not works, change it for your native country.
Did you turn on iCloud as well?
Reset the Network Setting, which makes your phone to forget every networks and passwords that you connected your phone to.
to reset the Network Settings just go to Settings - General - Reset (at the bottom) - Reset Network Settings.
I remember when I reset the Network Settings, i turned off iMessages. I connected to my home Wi-Fi and surfed the web for a little while. Sent some regular SMS messages, and about 10min later, I turned on iMessages again and sent a text to a friend with an iPhone and it started working as iMessage! Baloons finally became blue.

Messages notification keeps counting on iPhone with iOS7
My friend sent me an image through imessage and as i clicked it my messages froze then crashed out. When I re-opened the app, all the messages were deleted and whenever that specific person sends me a text, the unread notifications keep adding up on the app even if I have already read the text. It only happens for that specific person but not for anyone else. I tried resetting and everything. I am on iOS7.1

My iPhone 5 (iOS7) makes me download songs through iCloud once synced?
I have been having this issue for a while, but just now got around to trying to solve it. When i go to Music on my iPhone, and then go to songs, all of the songs have the iCloud symbol next to them (Cloud with red arrow pointing down through the middle). I have before downloaded a few, but then once I sync the phone, it forces me to reinstall it.
Is there an easy way to get them to all download? And possibly to prevent this from continuing to happen?
I really don't understand much with all the new Apple things happening (iCloud, Home Sharing, etc.) so sorry if this is an easy fix.
Thanks for reading, anything helps!Apple now have 2 ways of letting you hear music. The first way is the traditional way, like you always used to do where you have the songs downloaded to your iPhone.
The second way is that some of your songs might be backed up in iCloud and you can get them from there.
To stop this iCloud confusion change the following settings -
Settings > Music > Show All Music (set to off)
Then you will only see the music that you have downloaded to your iPhone.
