Iphone with USB problems

When i connect my iphone to any PC it gives me a error message that says:
" A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port"
Please help me. Is first time that this happens to me...when connected to a mac it doesn't say anything or show in my itunes.
Please HELP!!!!

The iPhone does not always like using a hub, a powered hub you will have a better chance but if too many devices are connected to the hub it wont work... Plug the iPhone directly into your computer to yield perfect results

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

Check the manual for whatever backup program you used, or, if you just copied the files over, copy them that.

I have a 4 year-old 2GB Power Mac G4 that works great running 10.4.10. I complete dumbfounded and irritated that a brand that prides itself on seamless digital experiences, who is willing to sell me better and better operating systems for my G4, has basically just sold me a $600 paper weight. With USB 1.1 - my computer won't recognize my Iphone - I guess (stupid me) I must realize that I am working with the equivalent of a dinosaur. I really feel let down by Apple. Do they expect me to purchase a new computer? Incredible.

- Is it a 4G iPod? That model sometimes mates poorly with dock because the configuration of the iPod by the dock connector is different that other devices. Thus, make sure it is fulld/seated in the dock.
- Have you brought the iPod and dock to the Genius at the an Apple store.

Have you tried other outlets? That may be an electrical problem in your house, worse case scenario. Try other USB wall adapters.

MSI 6368 with USB problem (URGENT)

I have an urgent need to solve this problem.
Client has a computer based on this motherboard, with Celeron 1.1 Ghz, WIN 98 Second Edition.
The USB port works with a Microsoft mouse. Client tries to install a Canon digital camera (D60), but the USB port cannot see the camera.
Is there something I should be doing?

try a different cable? Not sure about Canon but they might need a program that they supply with the camera to move the files off of the camera. Sort of like MP3 players and how they ship with their own proprietary software to move files onto the player and etc.

TS4062 Sync iPhone with iTunes Problem

I cannot figure out how to resolve iPhone iTunes sync error message: "message" was not copied to the iPhone because it could not be found. Note: I just changed email address in iTunes, did that mess things up too? (same type problem with iPad 3 too).

I just recently had this problem and I don't know if it will work for you but what I did was plug my iPhone up to my computer, start iTunes, go into my iPhone on iTunes, go into my music, select all my songs, right click, and select New Playlist From Selection. This created a Playlist 1 and it automatically retrieved the songs from my iTunes to create the playlist songs. I then deleted the playlist and now all my songs play fine. (If any still don't play after the first playlist, create a second one made up of the songs that didn't sync.) Hope this helped.

Public Contacts on iPhone with ActiveSync problem.

First of all I'm going to explain a little about the situation we currently have.
So, the managers in this company told us they wanted a "Public Contacts" list within Outlook, which could be synchronized with the company iPhones via ActiveSync.
What we did was make a new AD user account, which is in linked to an Exchange user mailbox. We gave our employees full "Manage" rights on this mailbox and added the "Public Contacts" list in their Outlook.
The problem then was, that they could edit the contacts.
So we started to test with certain rights within Outlook. We deleted the employees from the "Full Manage permissions" list within the exchange mailbox and gave them view rights on the Public Contact-list within Outlook. (Commentator rights)
When we did this, they could view the contacts, but they could not edit the contacts. This was exactly what we wanted, so we started to test with the synchronisation with ActiveSync (iPhone)
We added the exchange mailbox in the iPhone and we could see all the contacts.
However, the only problem that we have now is that our employees can edit the contacts on their iPhones, while they CAN'T edit the contacts within Outlook. (on PC)
I hope someone could help us find a solution for this permissions problem.
They can't edit the contacts on the computer, but they can on the iPhone. :(

First of all, thanks for the reply.
We've done the following:
- Create a new AD Account called "Public Contacts"
- We created a new mailbox on the Exchange Server called: Public.Contacts"at""company""dot""com"
- We connected the Public Contacts account to this new mailbox.
- We gave our test account called "Helpdesk" NO
rights on the mailbox on the exchange server (so no Send As and no Full Manage rights).
- Then we went in the Public Contacts mailbox (within Outlook) and went to contacts. Here we gave the account "Helpdesk" Commentator rights. (View Everything, but nothing else)
- We went into the account "Helpdesk" and went to contacts. I could not edit any contacts on my computer (Which is a good thing).
- So I've got it running on my PC now, but on the iPhone I won't even see the contacts. I've added the Exchange mailbox to the iPhone and used the Helpdesk account to login to it.
Before we could edit both the contacts on the PC and on the iPhone. Now I can see the contacts on the PC, but I cannot edit them... but on the iPhone they won't even show.
I will definitely try out your suggestion though.

I changed my iTunes account email address and Apple ID Sign-in. My iPhone and iPad 3 keeps bring up my old email address when I go to download any updates to any of the apps on the phone/pad and from there I am unable to log into my Apple ID. When I enter the settings on the devices to view "iTunes & Apps Stores" and then select "View Apple ID" I am once again unable to access with existing password which did not change in iTunes.

Windows 8 is supposed to have the USB drivers incorporated in its driver database.
The only suggestion I can offer, would be to install the chipset driver directly from AMD and see if that restores functionality to the USB 3 ports.

Syncing iPhone with iTunes problem

Can anyone help with syncing my iphone to my itunes? It's not working for me, I get an error message from itunes saying "This iPhone cannot be used because Apple Mobile Device service is not started"
It's the latest iTunes software, I can log in fine, the iPhone is fine, it just won't work.

Try restarting the AMDS. Use Apple's article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567. If the issue reoccurs try uninstall and reinstall. Make sure to follow the uninstall on the support page for itunes for your computer. Look under Installing and Removing itunes: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/

i would like to have my director program listed in the list

when my prog is first installed and run I,m guessing it would

If you add an "autorun.inf" file to your USB stick (flash
drive), it will show the name of your project on the list. The list
is called "actions list." On your "autorun.inf" file, add the
following so that your project shows up on the list (I believe it
will be the first item on the list as well).
