my iOS7 wouldn't budge after updating so I performed the silly mistake of doing a system restore. It updated but now my iPhone won't activate! Do you think it's the servers? I'm perfectly connected to my wifi and my phone is connected to iTunes!

Yeah... Thanks! It finally managed to pull through... ugh... was getting slightly worried because I needed it for something important at the moment... but thankfully it's okay now.

I tried updating the iOS on my iPhone4s and now it is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. It also doesn't show up in the devices folder of my computer (windows8.1) but makes the notification sound when connected to a usb port. IPhone4 update to ios7 - stuck on "Connect to iTunes"

I have an iPhone4 and just updated to ios7, The update through iTunes went fine but when I start the phone it gets stuck on "connect to iTunes". I get the Hello screen, choose a wifi network, then hit "restore from iTunes backup", then get stuck on the "Connect to iTunes" screen. I have tried to restore and forced the restore with the power/home buttons but still get the same result...HELP!

recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

Is there a way make other lines not able to receive texts for multiple lines?

It is not text message but imessage.
This is occurring because you are sharing apple ids, which you can do for music and apps.
But you should have separate ids for imessage/facetime and icloud.
The quick fix on each device go to settings - message - send&receive - either uncheck or remove the apple id.
ONce everyone gets a new id, go back to the same settings to input it.

Mute/Silent button is not working on my iPhone 4 after updating to IOS7. When I make my phone silent using that sliding button on the side, the phone toggles between mute/unmute position automatically and settles in unmue position. Then it will change state again if I shake the mobile. Did anyone face this issue?

If your iPhone is not working with a SIM card inserted, I recommend these troubleshooting steps:
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.
If you still are unable to resolve this issue, contact Apple support for further assistance.

I noticed that one person stated enabling cookies in Safari settings solved this problem. I too had this issue for about two weeks. Once I enabled all cookies in Safari settings, the little "AGREE" button became available in the lower right hand corner when accepting the new terms and conditions.
Shutting down no app helped me. The only way was to enable cookies in Safari settings through General Settings.

I would try plugging in the phone to the wall charger that came with it, and then reset the phone by holding the power and home buttons down until it turns off. Then turn it back on and see how the charging works.

Battery does not charge from the USB power adapter
Important: Only original iPhone can be charged from a FireWire-based power source. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the battery may drain.
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
