Iphone won't download all photos into window photo gallery, downloads old random photos for some reason.
Hi my iphone has just started to not download the most recent photos but photos from months ago each time in a random order. I cannot down load my most recent photos but can e-mail them. I am using Windows photo gallery or Picture Motion Browser. Any ideas would be great...

new iphone 5 and 4 year old macbook, and for some reason my computer says a later version of iTunes is required. So, i went to ITunes and found i have the latest version availble at this time. iTunes say phone can not be synced because it requires a version of 10.7 or greater?
iPhone 5 requires OS X 10.6.8 & iTunes 10.7 or greater. I suspect you're running Leopard, 10.5.8, correct? If so, you will first have to update your OS, then iTunes in order to sync your phone.

Photo syncing has worked perfectly for over a year then suddenly my iPhone doesn't sync all my photos. Everything in iTunes is set to sync all, there is space on the device and sync'ing seems successful. But I have about 1000 more photos in iPhoto than now appear on my iPhone. I have tried deleting all photos and starting again, but to no avail.
Anyone got any thoughts - this is seriously annoying!
iTunes v.9.1.1 iPhone OS 3.1.3 (3G)Try this: Launch isync from your applications folder, make sure that itunes is NOT running, under preferences, reset sync history. Give it a minute to run, once complete, re-boot your computer. Launch itunes, connect your phone, the photos that won't sync, are they in a separate album or lumped together with all the other photos? If they are in a separate album, un-check that album in itunes followed by hitting apply. Once itunes does its thing, re-check that album, followed by hitting apply. See if they sync now. If they are all lumped together, just try syncing again...although without deleting the cache again that might not work, but give it a go anyway.

Previous Button applying previous adjustments to multiple photos for some reason
So yesterday I was editing tons of photos, using the Previous Button once at a time to add the previous photo's adjustments to the next selected photo and everything was a great.
Today I hit Previous and the selected photo AND every photo after it gets adjusted.
What could I have possibly hit to change the behavior of the button?
Thanks!No, to the left of the Sync button is a button that says Previous. It's a pretty popular feature. If you only have one image selected it becomes an active clickable button and applies any adjustments from the last photo you messed with to the currently viewed photo. Sort of like a single one at a time sync. It randomly stopped behaving the way it's supposed to (after 48 hours or so of working the right way) and started working more like the Sync button and I'm trying to find out what could have changed and get it back to working right.

I have been using firefox for a while. I usually work on a number of windows (sometimes up to 8) with 8 - 10 tags in each. I was using a trial version of Nero and was triggered for an upgrade which i stopped half way through. I dont know if this has caused this problem. Now I cannot open any link in a new window. It will only open in a new tag of the same window.

Hello I just bought the USB super drive for the mac book pro and for some reason when I put the disc in and I download the content and for some reason when I put the aplication just a bunch of random words come out,not the content the disc brings.

As you have match, I suggest that you create a new library by holding ctrl whist launching iTunes. Select create new library. Sign into iTunes Store and activate match. You will now have access to your music and will be able to stream your music.
Options : get a new external drive formatted for mac and either download music from match or copy music from old drive to new one. Alternatively you could reformat old drive and download music from match - I would not be comfortable using this option as it means erasing drive before being able to use with mac.

when I add tunes from a CD into iTunes on myMacPro, shouldn't I be able to see them on my iPad and iPhone if I've got iCloud? For some reason I thought the advertisement on TV said "add music here, and see it there.." or was that just photos?
Oh, wait -- also, you took about uploading CDs. I don't think *those* would automatically go to your other devices *until* you subscribe to iMatch or whatever that's called. You have to pay an extra $25 a year to get all your uploaded stuff in the cloud and therefore on your other devices. Anything you *purchase* from iTunes on one device would automatically be sent to the other devices.
I did the Match thing, and it took a while at first to upload all the non-iTunes stuff, but then it worked. The whole thing is still new and has some kinks to work out. -
Hi, I have a MacBook Pro on Maverick 10.9.1. I recently got squeezed into an iPhoto upgrade I didn't want to do. When it had finished, all photos for 2012 -2013 had disappeared and instead of it saying I had about 6000 photos, it now thinks there are 17000+ despite there being about half of them missing? And no, I didn't think I would need an upgrade.
I may have back up these onto a time capsule but the voltage I am getting at the moment (Tanzania) isn't enough to start it up to check. My feeling is that they are still on the nard disk and can be rescued. But how??? ThanksTo be safe from automatic updates that you do not want, i.e., on a slow network, change your System Preferences for the AppStore. Disable downloads in the background and automatic install, and leave only security updates enabled, so you do not miss them.

What exactly did you do, after iPhoto updated? This looks, like you imported your iphoto library instead of upgrading it. If you cannot find the original library, you really should try to restore the library from the backup. How long will it be, until you get to a better power supply?
Do you keep your iPhoto library on an external drive or on your system drive?
Try to search for a file called "Library6.iPhoto". This file is part of any iPhoto Library. To search your entire mac download

My iphone won't download apps when connected to wifi or 3g, this includes apps previously on the phone any ideas?
It goes to download then stops just showing the cloud and arrowYes we are connected. I even tried by connecting to the computer thru iTunes. It is not working for either of us. Just says unable to download at this time. I was able to connect and restore my apps from my old iPhone buy it won't let me add new ones for do update on the old apps.

Hi as I have listed above, I backed up my iphone5 to my pc and for some reason, some of my very old photos from my itunes account sync to my iphone, theres no way for me to delete them i've already try. you can change the sync settings in itunes. plug your phone into the computer, select the device in the side bar (it should have an iphone icon next to it), then select the tab for photos to modify the settings for what will and will not be synced.

Went through this step-by-step, but alas it did not solve the problem. For some reason I can download mail on my Macbook Pro and iPhone, but no my iMac. Connection Doctor shows all green lights. This started today when I was prompted to re-enter incoming mail server passwords. I re-entered passowrds yet again to make sure they were correct. Rebuilt the inBox. Connection Doctor continues to show all green lights, but am still unable to download mail to the inbox. Has anyone else ever run into this problem?
I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

So I have an iphone and for some reason I don't know the password for my Apple ID so I can't download apps and I don't have the password to my email to change it and I don't know the secret questions , what can I do to make a new Apple ID ?
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?
