Iphone wont connect after update

My iphone will not connect after downloading the iOs 5 update.

Ok this is how I fixed this. Apparently iTunes uses Safari.
Go to Settings -> Safari -> and Clear Cookies and Data and also Clear History - scroll down to see those settings.
Set Block Cookies to either "from third parties and advertisers" or "Never" (you choose which one)
In Advanced (scroll down its the last setting) make sure JavaScript in ON
Here is the last step I had to make to fix it - which may not apply to you. Some time ago I changed my primary email for apple. I noticed it was asking me to enter the password for the secondary email.
I went into iTunes and App Store, tapped my Apple Id and then Sign Out. I then resigned in using my primary Apple email and password.
Just to make sure, I turned the phone off and on, but honestly this may be optional.
I am now working again.

I just updated to iTunes 12.0.1 (the latest version) and after restarting my computer and reopening iTunes, my iPad Air is no longer appearing in iTunes, my PC recognises the device and the 'Trust this Device' screen appears on the iPad (selecting 'Trust this Device' does nothing), I have tried restarting my pc and hard resetting my iPad, but it still wont appear in iTunes.

I had the same problem. Uninstalling iTunes and all associated apps and then re-installing from scratch seemed to get things going OK for me. The re-installed iTunes even kept my previous settings which was a relief.

So i dowloaded the new software from itunes and after it was done it said "Sync is complete" "ok to disconnect". But my iphone still had a black screen w/ the apple logo and a bar showing it is loading but it won't load. it only shows the very beginning of the bar progress loaded. I tried to restore and it does same thing. it stops loading after the very beginning. I tried to reset the phone by holding the home and top button at the same time but i still get same result. So my phone is sitting here useless w/ a black screen w/the apple logo on it and a progress bar. Any suggestions Please

This is what worked for me:
1. In wireless settings, select your router and then selet "forget this network."
2. Turn wireless off.
3. Hard restart the phone (press power switch and main button simultaneously, hold them until the phone turns off.
4. Reboot your router, preferably unplug the power cord completely.
5. After your router is up and running, turn wireless back on, select your network, then enter your password.
For me, the fix was immediate. I hope it works for you!

You will have to put your phone into recovery mode and restore the phone as new. Since you don't have a back up, you will lose all the data on your phone but you will be able to use it again.

You contact the carrier it's locked to and see if they will unlock it for you. Activation problems are almost always due to the fact that the phone was hacked to unlock it instead of being legitimately unlocked.
Of course, this can also happen if you're trying to activate it without a SIM in it. You can not activate the phone without a SIM.

Same thing started on 1/30/13 for me first thing in the AM with my iPad mini. If I am more than 10 ft away (line of sight) from my AirPort Extreme I get the not able to join network message even though it is showing 3 bars. Some things to try first:

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Thank you for your question. iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1. First, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.
