I have a Iphone 2 bought several years ago from the us, and used it in romania with a romanian number and in the uk. I think it was unlocked in the us by iphone. I did a stupid thing and I reset the phone to the factory settings and now I inserted a lyca sim and it says that The sim card inserted does not seem to be supported. please help me!!!
I'm assuming you're referring to the original iPhone.
More than likely, it was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.
In the US, all of the original iPhones sold were locked to AT&T. AT&T did not offer unlocking at the time.
The best case scenario is that it has now re-locked to AT&T. Luckily, AT&T now offers unlocking. All original iPhones were sold at full retail. They were not subsidized.
Submit a request here and see if they will unlock it. https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/ -
I have an IPhone 3GS that keeps getting the message "charging not supported by this device" Dismiss. I have tried several different ac adaptors, car chargers and even directly connected to USB on computer and still get the same message. Software is up to date as well. Help!
Clean the dock connector with a soft dry brush.

When i plug my supra ekey adapter into my iphone, I get the message "accessory not supported by iphone". I know the adapter works because I took it back to my realtor association and they checked it.
Try cleaning out the phone's dock connector. A soft dry toothbrush or similar.

Macbook pro speaker output via iphone 4 connect via bluetooth ?
Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me out with this question on my head. If the functionality for bluetooth on macbookpro, could pair with the iphone's bluetooth and it could have the other function than only function like network sharing for example the one that I wish is sound output, so iphone could become bluetooth headset too.
Thanks,
SfntejaHi,
Infortunately I do not have a solution neither.
Just to add that I have a triple boot, with Mac OC, Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit and I have the exact same problem in recognising the external iphone earset microphone.
I have been trying to tweak the windows registry with no luck yet
Hope that there will be an an updated version of the bootcamp drivers that will solve this.
I went to an apple store yesterday (at Genius Bar) and i was unpleasantly surprised when a technician told me that the line-in socket was also compatible with an external mic (poor him)! -
Why won't iphone 6 connect via bluetooth
JUst got new iPhone 6+. I am unable to get connection to any Bluetooth devises. Tried two different speakers and sound bar on tv. iPhone does not recognize the devise. All had been connected via my old iPhone 5S
is there something in setup I sm missing?
THanksHello dwighthomer47,
Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the iPhone is not connecting to several bluetooth devices. I would recommend that you read the part about being unable to find the other device, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Bluetooth connections - Apple Support
Bluetooth disconnects, intermittent connectivity, or unable to find
Move your iOS device closer to the Bluetooth accessory.
Position your iOS device and Bluetooth accessory in direct line of sight of each other. For example, move the Bluetooth accessory and iOS device to the same side of your body.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if performance improves.
Check for sources of potential interference and move both the iOS device and the Bluetooth accessory away from other electronic devices.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN, and APN settings.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Have a nice day,

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -

I cannot pair my Macbook Air (Yosemite) with my iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth.
I cannot pair my Macbook Air (Yosemite) with my iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth. It is recognising the devices but 'connection unsuccessful'
That is correct. Macs do not pair to iPhones, iPads, etc.
However, pairlng is not required to get Handoff to work. Both devices must have Bluetooth on, but they need not (indeed cannot) be paired.
OS X Yosemite: Pick up where you left off with Handoff
You must be using supported devices:
OS X Yosemite: supported devices for Handoff, Instant Hotspot, Phone Calling, SMS, and AirDrop -
i tried to sync my iphone with my old phone to transfer all the contacts over via bluetooth but it said that the phone is not sopported. what do i need to do? will i have this problems with alot of phones? is there another way i can transfer over the contacts. thank you.
The iPhone does NOT support Bluetooth synch to other phones. You need to export your phone contacts to a computer to a program such as Address Book or Outlook and then synch those contacts to your iPhone using iTunes.

Can not connect Macbook Pro to IPhone 6 Plus via bluetooth.
I have a MacBook pro late 2011 with Yosemite 10.10.1 and bluetooth ver. 2.1 EDR. I can not connect my IPhone 6 Plus Ver. 8.1 via bluetooth. I can see the the iPhone 6 on my MacBook and MacBook on IPhone 6, and can select connect but the iPhone 6 has error message MacBook Pro is not supported. I am guessing that the issue is with the bluetooth versions, but not sure. Any idea would be greatly appreciated.
And what is it you want to accomplish? iPhones cannot pair with Computers (Mac or Pc).
If you want to use features such as Continuity, or Handoff, pairing is not necessary. However you would need a newer MacBook for those features.
iPhones can pair with speakers, keyboards, headsets, hands free devices, in car media centers etc...
But there's no profile for connecting to a computer directly. -
My 2010 MacBook A1342 will not connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone 5S
I am able to connect my 2010 MacBook Pro to my iPhone 5s in order to use the Internet connection via Bluetooth. However I just purchased my son a 2010 white MacBook A1342 via Bluetooth to my iPhone 5s in order to use the Internet, I received a message on my phone that says "MacBook not supported".
I am able to pair other Bluetooth devices to this same MacBook and I know that I can connect via Wi-Fi but I would like to know why this is not working.
Thanks! And I am also trying to connect it to my iPhone 5s via Bluetooth***
excuse the typo. -
My MacBook Air and my iPhone are coupled but they cannot connect via bluetooth. How can I solde this ?
For what purpose are you trying to connect them?
The only supported Bluetooth function between a Mac and iPhone is internet tethering.
