IPhone wont go back to cdma service
I have an iPhone 5 with Cricket (legacy) it is on a CDMA network. I am traveling to mexico and bought a SIM from TELCEL to get service while over there. I have tested my SIM on my iPhone and it worked. The problem is that when I take the SIM out it states that there is no SIM inserted. The iPhone won't go back to using crickets CDMA network. I have tried restoring the iPhone and it wont activate without a SIM. What do i do?

Hey guys, Id really appreciate your help.... Earlier today i fumbled my iPhone and dropped it. It wasnt that bad of a drop, and not nearly the worst this phone has taken. Now i cannot turn it back on and ive tried holding down the home and power buttons with no response..... Is it done for?
Have you tried plugging it into your computer?
Open Itunes, connect the the phone to the USB while holding the home button. when the computer recognizes the phone let go and restore to factory
I would also try the above, I wonder if your WAKE button was damaged.

My Iphone says that theres no service, and to connect to itunes, when i connect to itunes it says cant connect my iphone to itunes because i have a passcode on the my phone, but the phone will not allow me to enter my passocode it just says emergency call only ugh im so confused please help!

so last night, i plugged my iphone into my macbook pro before bed, and turned on my facebook app. after about 5 minutes it got slow and was having trouble booting the app again, so i restarted the phone. since then, my phone only loads the apple screen on the start up, and then goes black again.
it will not go any further, and my itunes does not recognize the device!
anything i can do before i have to go to the apple store?

If so and you're still stuck on the Apple logo after that, follow the steps below and you should be good.

I turned my iphone 3g off during a movie and it wont switch back on, i tried turning it back on resetting it and whatnot but it comes up with a blank white screen and then turns back off. I tried recovering it but it gets stuck at 3/4 and then freezes.. ive looked through the forums already but nothing helped, what can i do?
I never had WiFi sync and it has never been jailbroken.Could be short in the iPhone charging port. Clean the charging port with a clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If not, iPhone 5 has Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

iphone wont turn on. i plug it into charger and it stays at 87% and then i take it out of the charger and it shuts off. and then i try to turn it on and wont turn back on until i plug it back into the charger. HELP ME PLEASE!! how do i fix this?!

1. Reset phone - press both home and power buttons for up to 30 seconds until the Apple logo appears/
2. If no response, plug into AC adaptor and charge for at least 30 minutes.
3. Repeat Reset if no response to charging.
4. If still no signs of live, there is a hardware failure. Take it to Apple or whovever provides iPhone service in your country. -

My iPhone 4 is shut off and wont turn back on, unless i plug it in an outlet & when i do that it says "connect to Itunes" & then i do that and the phone wont turn on & it shows nothing is plugged in . HELP!
& it keeps trying to turn on but it wont . like the apple logo pops up for a minute , then turns off.Had exact same problem. Rang Apple support and various apple repairers. All of them said in effect, too bad, you'll have to lose everything since your last backup. It's a work phone with very important stuff on it and the latest backup was on a computer that had a virus. Convergence of crap :/
Happened to talk to a friend who said to try replacing the battery. Did that. Problem fixed. All data saved.
To all Apple support people: rather than say 'once it's in recovery mode you lose all data' try saying 'replace your battery and see if that works first'!!!! -
Got my daughter an ipod touch 4th and it wont dothe back up from itunes? I bought my other daughter an iphone 4 and its doing the same thing. Both are locking up itunes too. I tried the deactivate/activate that was suggested it still didnt work. I took the ipod to a friend and hooked to her laptop and it synced fine but now trying to sync on mine it wont do it and it has the backup encryption on but no passwords will unlock it. itunes will reccognize the ipod and the iphone but while going thru the sync steps they both get to step 2 then lock up itunes and then says its syncing but will never stop. I am very frustrated and am regretting buying products from Apple.
It seems to be a glitch or bug. Its been officially acknowledged and addressed by Apple. There is no resolution other than waiting for a few days. The Kb article by Apple states it will fix itself on January 7.

Resolution
Do Not Disturb scheduling feature will resume normal functionality after January 7, 2013. Before this date, you should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off.
To turn off the scheduling feature, tap Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb and switch Scheduled to Off. -
