Iphone wont receive i messages

i have iphone and itouch and they share account, i can no longer recieve i messages on iphone,but get them on itouch, any help would be greatly appreciated

If you can't receive text messages after restarting your phone and trying to update, try these steps next:
If you still can't send or receive SMS or MMS messages
See the iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant.
Verify that every phone number in your contacts list includes an area code.
When sending to existing contacts, ensure that your contacts include the full phone number, and not just the information needed to dial locally.
If you have recently ported your number from another carrier, please contact your current carrier to verify that the porting process has completed successfully.

I can send them but can't get any. i know i have friends so i know that just no one isnt texting me. i can do everything except get text messages. i called my carrier and they said everything running on my phone so now i dont know what i need to do someone help

My sone had same problem. This may or may not help but it solved it for me.
The problem was'nt with the phone or the carrier it was to do with the iphone sending the text to my sons phone.
So on the phone sending message make sure of the following:
Settings
Messages
Make sure imessage is checked so the menu changes so you can then see send as SMS
Make sure that is checked
also MMS

and i went into updates and it says already updated?

Wont receive MMS messages..

My curve 9300 wont receive picture messages, I have a unlimited texting plan, and I can send mms, but can't receive, I also have a social networking plan, do I need something else?

Have you tried updating your phone´s firmware? Maybe that´ll solve your problem...
You can update your phone using the NSU:
Nokia Software Updater
All you need for this is a internet connection and a data cable for your phone!
Give it a go and let us know how it went.

Make macbook and iphone dont receive same messages

How can I set up my macbook and/or iphone so that if "message" on my macbook is open, then iphone would stop receiving messages, i.e. I will not need to look at the same messages on iphone that I've already looked at on my macbook.

I'm somewhat positive on the fact that what you are asking to be done, cannot actually be done.

Why does my iphone not receive group messages if there is a non iphone user in the group?

I Have an iphone 4 with the latest update. Whenever anyone sends a group message to me when there is a non-iphone user in the group, my phone does not receive the message. I've tried restarting and it doesnt work. i have sms messaging turned on. Any help would be greatly appreciated

why wont my mail receive in my inbox on my iphone ?? i need it to work because i am resetting my apple id password because it says it has been disabled !! it says i have 51 inbox but then when i click on it it has nothing there !! please help i need my mail to receive to me !!

This is a Gmail issue. The iphone doesn't make up the message that your username or password is incorrect unless gmail report that back when it tries to log you in.
This is usually caused by two step verificaiton on a gmail account. Since iOS Mail cannot get SMS enabled verification codes, Gmail has created an 'App Specific Password" system. Check this out and see if you have created a 2nd password specifically for your gmail on your iPhone.

2 iphones both receive same messages and sometimes phone calls. What causes this?

My wife and I both have iphones but we are receiving each others messages and sometimes phone calls even though different phones. What is causing this? Both phones registered under the same user. Means she is seeing my texts messages and vice versa.

If you are receiving imessages intended for other devices you can fix this by going to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and do one of the following:
Uncheck the email address shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at" on both devices if they are iPhones; or
On one of the devices go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the Apple ID, sign out, then sign in with a different Apple ID. Note: you can continue to share an Apple ID for the iTunes & App store for purchasing if you wish; it does not need to be the same as the ID you use for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud and other services.

Iphone 5 receives text messages but will not send text messages

Since yesterday my boyfriends iphone 5 will not send text messages. He can receive them but when he goes to reply it doesnt work. He has turned his phone off and on and that seems to work for awhile but then the same problem happens again where he cannot send a text message. Was wondering if there was any way in fixing this or why his phone is all of a sudden doing this.

So I should update this. The phone actually loses service, I have reset the network connection as well as I have updated the carrier settings and the phone is still losing service randomly. I called the carrier and they told me there is nothhing they can do unless we bring the phone in, they believe it could be the sim card because everything on their end looks to be fine. So I'll be going to the carrier store this evening to see if they can fix the problem if not then I will be going to the apple store. Do hope this problem gets fixed soon.

Iphone wont send text messages for 10-15 minutes

Occasionally I will send out a text to somebody and it will get to about 95% and stop for about 10 minutes. At this time, I can't send a text to anyone, receive a text from anyone, and all my conversations with my friends become erased. After about 15 minutes, they will return and I get bombarded with texts and such. Anyone experience this and know what exactly to do to make it stop? Thank you.

Mail wont receive new messages except on startup????

After upgrading to Mavericks, mail will only seem to receive new email on startup of the app itself. Otherwise it RARELY fetches mail automatically. It also wont fetch anything when I hit the get mail button.
This seems to be true for all of the accounts I have on it, but theyre all gmail...
Yes, I have the latest update.
Anyone else have this problem? solutions?

Iphone wont receive mail till i open my lap top ??? please help

my work email will not go to my phone until i open my lap top. once i open my lap top and all the mail loads into 'mail'.... then they pop up on my phone.
Its an exchange account. i have also tried it as an imap account. i have 4 other accounts that all work fine.. only this one account does this.

What troubleshooting have you done so far? Have you follwed the steps outlined in the manual? Reset? Restore?

My Curve 8520 wont retreive picture messages, help?

I have had my curve 8520 for about three weeks and whenever i get a picture message i try to retrieve it and i dont get it. it says receiving message for a while but then it just goes away, other times it will wont receive the message for a long time then after a few hours i get it.
why does it do this? why cant i get the picture message right away?
