Iphone wont sync apps from computer

My iphone wont sync my apps (94) from computer to my updated Iphone 4.2
I restored the phone from back up and retried but they wont carry over, on my computer it says the apps are "on the phone" but on the phone screen it only displays the app i had to reinstall from the app store.

These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3.

What IOS are you running on your iPod? Are you sure the apps will run on your IOS?

Problem syncing app from computer to iphone & ipad

I downloaded an app (Red Laser- barcode scanner) on my windows computer. I want to use it on my iphone and ipad but can not sync it.

This is the same problem I am having. And it was a problem with 3.0.1 also.
As FM said "I can not mark 'Selected Folders' in iTunes. It appears Sync phots from the folder that I want, but 'All folders' is still marked."
There appears to be no way to change from "all folders" to "selected folders". All relevant buttons are grayed out.
I would love to attach a screenshot to clarify …

So, the problem is that iTunes won't sync apps which I downloaded on iPhone. I synced my iPhone before and it all worked well, but now when I go to Apps folder its empty and when I connect my iPhone to computer and sync it, iTunes syncs all exept apps. Whats wrong??

However, most of the information is the same. If you prefer the classic view of iTunes, I have included the commands to enable these features. To enable the Menu Bar, you can press Control-B on Windows. To enable to the Sidebar, go to View > Show Sidebar or press Control-S on Windows.

Well first you need to sync your iPhone 4 with your Mac/PC so that it will transfer all your music, apps, podcasts, etc. Then sync your iPod Touch and the media you selected during the sync should be there on your iPhone. If you have difficulty in transferring media from iPhone to your computer, try softwares like TransCopy. They will help in transferring data from your iphone to your computer. Try to Authorize your computer before syncing Apps. You'll find that option on the menu "Store".

My husband bought and used an iphone 3g, and bought five free apps. Then he gave the iphone to me. The apps I purchase on my itunes account on my computer do not sync with (transfer to) my iphone. Here are some free apps I have purchased: NYTimes, weathebug, nearby, ypmobile, movies, free hangman. None of them sync.
When I sync by iphone with my itunes account on my computer, I get a dialog box telling me that there are apps on my phone that are not in my itunes account on my computer (my husband's five free apps). ITunes 11.0.2 is forcing me to sync apps from my iPhone into my Mac AGAIN. This is the new version of iTunes so there is no option to uncheck syncing Apps- how do I stop it from copying apps into my Mac?

I'm using iTunes 11.0.2 on my Macbook Air running Lion, to sync with my iPhone 5. With this latest release of iTunes, there's no option to uncheck syncing of apps. For a while now, iTunes have been working fine- it didn't sync apps from my iPhone to my Mac... until this morning. I only have Podcasts sync checked and every day, I just plug in my iPhone and click Sync and it worked great- it only copied my podcasts to the phone.
Today, I did the same thing- downloaded new podcasts, plugged in my phone, and clicked Sync. It backed up my data, copied my podcasts, and THEN it starts to copy all the apps from my iPhone into my Mac. This is the first time it's doing this- I'm sure the team removed that feature from this latest iTunes and I think this is a bug. I unchecked the Apps checkbox from Library in Preferences- I click sync, and again it starts to sync all the apps, AND the Apps checkbox becomes checked again.
I've restarted iTunes many times and rebooted, didn't work.

Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

Did you try to download them again using Wi-Fi and the phone? If you're using the same account, yopu can do this again for free: Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
