Iphone4 Enlarged screen

My phone (4) has suddenly developed an enlarged screen that I can not remove. I have rebooted, I have connected it to my computer but nothing.
In attempting to get into another setting it slips back to the front screen . I getting frustrated and my next move will be to throw it to the ground and get a rubbish bb!! HELP

Another option is to connect to iTunes. Select your iphone under devices and select the "Summary" tab.
Click the "Configure universal Access..." button and turn Zoom off by selecting "Neither" under "Seeing".

  • I have an enlarged screen.  How do i get it back to its normal size?

I have an enlarged screen that will not go back to its' normal size.  How can I get rid of this large screen?  I have lost the option to use File, Force Quit. There is no yellow button to drop the current screen and there is no red button to quit the current screen.  I have right double clicked and left double clicked and there are no options to reduce or quit.  After I figure out how to get rid of this large screen, I also need to figure out how this happened so I will be careful not to do it again.  Would very much appreciate any help, but will have to look for responses on my cell phone because I cannot access my email on this computer.

You have not completed a profile, so we have no idea what version of OS X you have installed. Please do that before posting a new thread. If you don't know how please click Profile Update for instructions.
To turn on a zoomed display, open System Preferences - Accesiblity - highlight Zoom in the left panel and checkmark the box called use keyboard shortcuts to zoom then use the correct keyboard shortcut.

my iphone4's screen has gone black and i have received a new warrenty

If this is a Verizon iPhone 4, there is no SIM slot.
For non-Verizon iPhone 4, the SIM is on the right side.
Push a paperclip inbto the hole to eject the SIM tray.

  • Is there an icon for face time on the iphone4s home screen? I remember I saw it before but not any more. I still have the FaceTime app,but would like to find the icon on the home screen again. Anyone can help?

Is there an icon for face time on the iphone4s home screen? I remember I saw it before but not any more. I still have the FaceTime app,but would like to find the icon on the home screen again. Anyone can help?

Check all of your folders to see if FaceTime is in any of them.
If not, check your restrictions (Settings>General>Restrictions) and if restrictions are on, and you know the passcode, then FaceTime might be turned off. Turn ON to veiw icon on home screen.
Let me know if this does/doesnt work.

  • Phone stuck on enlarged screen

I didn't know what category this would fall in to but my iPhone 4 is stuck on an enlarged screen and will not go back to normal. I've tried clicking it with 3 fingers and it will not work. Also the lock button is broken so I cannot restart the phone. I also cannot click anything and I was wondering if I could do it through iTunes? I have the newest version of it but I can't find the restore iPhone section on it

    Hello SachoNacho,
It sounds like your phone screen is zoomed in but is not responding to triple tapping to zoom out. You can indeed configure the accessibility options in iTunes on your phone when you hve it connected. This article will help you do that:
    iOS: Configuring accessibility features
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5018
    Managing accessibility features using iTunes
Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to any computer with iTunes installed.
    In iTunes, select your device.
From the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access in the Options section at the bottom.
Select the feature you would like to use and click OK.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling

  • Pixelated enlarged screen - display issues related to external hard drive

Hi.  I had an external hard drive plugged into my macbook.  I have a second monitor hooked up.  My screen is pixelated and enlarged (I have to scroll to see the whole desktop).  The icons are rearranged and very blurry. Everything is blurry and enlarged.  My files will open, but they are all blurry as well.  When I noticed these display issues, I realized the mac was not detecting the hard drive that was plugged into the usb port. I  unplugged it and then a LOT of folders with the hard drive name appeared on the desktop and then disappeared.  I know I may have misstepped by unplugging it, but what can I do now?  I have rebooted, shut down, checked zoom and screen resolution settings, and unplugged the monitor.  It's the same when I uplug the second monitor and just view my desktop on the mac.  Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

There is a multitude of posts here addressing the dangers of using Mackeeper. But just look at this:
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691
While this particular problem may not have been caused by Mackeeper, I urge you to uninstall this piece of trash.

  • HT1338 How can I enlarge screen text in my IMac pro

I have problems with my eyesight and want to enlarge the screen text. How can I do this?

You would have to open your Applications folder, go to System Preferences,. go to "Display" and you would manually have to set a "lower" Resolution.  Your text then will be slightly less sharp, but it will be Larger.
    Hope this helps

  • IPhone4 odd screen freezes

    Hi,
So far my iPhone4 experience is not that great I'm affraid.
My first phone died after 4 months (screen died all of a sudden) but I got a new one under warranty.
Unfortunately this new one starts to freeze all the time. This happens mostly in apps like Echofon, Safari and Mail. When browsing, the screen stops responding on any movements. Pressing the sleep button helps sometimes but not always. Sometimes I just have to wait a while until it comes back "alive".
Does anybody have insights in this? Is this hard- or software related?
I tried several things (set up as new phone etc.) but nothing seems to work. iOS = 4.2.1
    Thanks in advance from Belgium!

I brought my iphone 4 in july last year & my experience hasnt been that great tbh.
Ive had a similar problem as you have described in your previous post. Again it mostly happens whilst using apps like whatsapp, camera, & Safari. At time's when browsing the screen has frozen several times and stops responding to any movements.
This is one of many faults that i have been experiencing with my iphone 4. I have the reception problem in which i purchased a case n bumper to help improve the issue its so what helped, but if i try n use 3g then i only get 1 bar and making calls can be a problem. Using the internet is so slow at times that it's unusable unless 3g is switched on and getting 3g reception seems to be an issue with the phone as i have friends that have experienced the same problems all on different networks. Last but not least quite often ive been unalbe to send multimedia messages sometimes it can take up to 50 attempts plus jut to send them and other times there arent any problems, now ive been with this network for 2 & a half years and have never erperienced these problems until i purchased the iphone 4. Im so ****** off with the fact they dont seem to give a dame about the issue's at all. This whole experience has angered me and would'nt recomend any one to purchase this phone at all, apple should replace all the phones when the next model is launced due to their lack of compitance with this current version.

  • IPad Displays Enlarged Screen

My father-in-law (92) was playing Simon Says and somehow sent the screen in enlarged mode. Everything is blown up. Home page show only 9 apps enlarged. Can't scroll from body of screen. Only motion is at edges with only slight scroll. Can't even get to Settings. I had previously set Accessibility>Large Text>24pt to enlarge the App Icon Labels but that didn't work for that.
Restarted to no avail. Anyone have a clue or is it Support time? Thanks. Oh yea. On home page open, normal screen flashes for a second than expands.

I can't open the Accessibility tab. Took several minutes just to scroll down and left (on dock) to Settings. In Setting>General, screen won't scroll down that far without holding it at top of upward scroll. It keeps springing back up. I can see the Accessibility tab but it won't open. This *****! What could a 92 year old man do to this thing? Thanks

  • Enlarged screen difficult to navigate, how to change it?

At boot up my screen automatically enlarges itself and I have no idea why. Because the displayed image is larger than the screen, it makes it very difficult to navigate, it scrolls both the entire screen and the window I'm using.

Thanks Templeton, I'll try it as soon as I get home from work.
I was looking all over System Preferences and focused on the display related areas, I never would have made the connection with the Universal Access.

  • Enlarged screen image

I mistakenly must have double tapped to increase the screen size & now it won't go back to its original size. I can't see the bottom line of icons and it's really messing me up. I've double-tapped everywhere I can. I've even restored everything to supposedly go back to the "Factory Settings," but that didn't work either. Any suggestions out there?

hi, my iphone recently went thru xray machine in the airport and the screen was magnified!
it was impossible to key in my password to unlock the phone, through many attempts that i came to learn to tap to the extremme right, left, top, bottom of the screens to stroll around to get to the keying points.
i had successfully clicked on the enlarged icons to get into the settings to reset the phone and since it is back to normal now.
i wonder if this will happen again and what is the problem in the first place?

  • Enlarged screen/icons

Odd thing; when I went to unlock my Iphone, next thing I know the home screen and everything else is enlarged and difficult to view/navigate. Any idea what may have caused this or what setting may have been changed? I have tried restarting and looking through my settings. Please help, I'm not the 'techiest' woman in texas.
    Thanks,
Not everything should be too big in Texas

    You have "Zoom" turned on.
Two ways are available to turn it off..
    1. Connect to iTunes. Go to the iPhone summary pane and click the "Configure Universal Access" button. Then turn Zoom off.
    2. Double-tap the phone's screen with three fingers. Then go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
