This solved my problem after even the Apple Support couldn't help me!

Mein Apple TV (3.Gen. Softw. 7.x) passt sich nicht an das 16:9 Bildformat des Fernsehers an. 16:9-Inhalte werden nur mit 4 großen schwarzen Rändern dargestellt.

Mein neu gekauftes AppleTV stellt den iPad-Bildschirm (außer bei Videos) nur im 4:3-Format dar. D.h. meine 16:9-Fotos und alle 16:9-Inhalte werden auf meinem 16:9 Fernseher nur mit 4 breiten schwarzen Rändern dargestellt. Fotos, die 10 MPixel haben, haben dann nicht nur die 2 MPixel des Fernsehers, sondern etwa 0,5 MPixel. Das ist sehr enttäuschend. Steht zu erwarten, dass es eine neue AppleTV-Generation gibt, die diese Schwäche nicht mehr hat?

Sondele, die Lösung ist gefunden.
Es lag bei mir an einer verbogenen Hosts Datei.
Dort stand irgendwelcher kryptischer Müll in der Datei.
Den Inhalt habe ich entfernt und nun geht es endlich.

Weisser Bildschirm nach sperren

Hallo zusammen
Hab seit einiger Zeit ein ärgerliches Problem mit dem iPhone 3GS. Sperre ich das Telefon nach Gebrauch mittels Power-Taste (oben), kriege ich danach nur noch einen weissen Bildschirm zu sehen, egal was passiert. Z. B. bei einem Anruf leuchtet das Display nur noch weiss. Bis vor einigen Tagen half wiederholtes Drücken der Power- und Home-Taste, doch es wird natürlich - irgendwie erwartungsgemäss - immer schlimmer. Mittlerweile bringe ich es so nicht mehr weg.
Das einzige, was hilft: Gerät einmal aus- und einschalten. Ausschalten kann ich es blind, Power-Taste eine Weile gedrückt halten und dann über den oberen Teil des (komplett weissen) Displays streichen. Es scheint nämlich alles ganz normal zu funktionieren inkl. Touch etc., das Display zeigt anstelle der Inhalte einfach nur eine weisse Fläche. Nach dem nächsten Einschalten funktioniert alles wieder normal, als wäre nie etwas gewesen. Das Display zeigt alles perfekt und fehlerfrei an. Nur eben bis ich es wieder das erste Mal sperre - dann muss ich es, um den weissen Bildschirm wegzukriegen, wieder neustarten.
Ich gehe deshalb mal sehr stark davon aus, dass es sich um ein Software-Problem handeln muss. Hab das Telefon auch schon mal wiederhergestellt, ohne Erfolg. Dann hab ich dank Google den DFU-Modus entdeckt - gesamtes Telefon nochmals zurückgesetzt und Firmware neu aufgespielt - keine Chance, es hilft alles nichts.

S540 extrem langsam, oft Einfrieren des Bildschirms, Arbeitsspeicher komplett ausgelastet

Hallo @all,
wir haben nun unser Lenovo Thinkpad S540 seit Januar im Einsatz und ärgern uns faktisch täglich über dieses Ding.
Folgende Probleme:
- Es ist extrem langsam (unser alter Rechner war schneller mit randvoller Festplatte, einem geringeren Prozessor und weniger RAM). Wir haben einen i7 Prozessor, 8 GB RAM und das Notebook ist schon beim Start am Rande seiner Kapazität, obwohl noch nicht mal ein Programm geöffnet wurde, denn schon das Hochfahren dauert ewig.
- Wenn man den Task-Manager startet, dann ist die Datenträgerauslastung meist bei 100 % und der Arbeitsspeicher ebenso. Wie gesagt, es wurde noch nicht mal irgendwas gestartet.
- Neuerdings haben wir noch das Thema, dass der Bildschirm ständigei einfriert und schwarz wird und dann ist Schicht im Schacht und es geht gar nichts mehr.
Die tollen Lenovo Solution Tests ergeben keine Fehler, dennoch ist das in unseren Augen nicht realistisch. Leider komme ich mit dem Support nicht wirklich weiter. Die sagen immer nur, wir müssen ihn neu aufsetzen, was wir auch bereits 2 mal getan haben, es ist dann bei den erstenzweimal besser und danach ist es noch schlimmer als vor der Neuinstallation, daher lassen wir das lieber in Zukunft.
Hat irgendjemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Der Laptop ist noch in der Garantie, aber leider weiß ich nicht, wie ich den Support dazu bekomme, dass sie ihn sich (kostenlos) ansehen. Wir nutzen in der Firma auch Lenovo Laptops, die haben teilweise einen geringeren Prozessor und sind um einiges schneller. Und wie gesagt, selbst unser alter Laptop rast gegen den neuen - das kann es ja nicht sein, dafür ist der auch zu teuer gewesen.
Wir benutzen den Laptop wirklich nur im Notfall und das ist kein Zustand, dafür haben wir uns keinen neuen Laptop zugelegt.
Vielleicht hat ja hier jemand eine Idee, was man noch machen kann.

Iphone4...got soaked, works after reset, now wont reactivate and shows error 0XE8000004

Hi all,
I have a 32gig iPhone4 that I purchased second hand. Recently I knocked it into the toilet...I turned it off straight away, left it to dry.
After 5 days drying I gave it a full charge, turned it on and the display was all sketchy. I've kept trying with it, realised that the display would function fine at times so have I put it in recovery mode, factory reset it and managed to get it out of recovery mode.
I'm back at a fresh start, however when trying to activate the handset via iTunes I keep getting the same error....'0xE8000004'
Can anyone shed any light on this error and how I can get this phone back up and running?

Yes i've tried pretty much all of them steps, only thing I cannot try is another computer but to be honest I cant see any real reason it being my laptops fault as its been fine since day dot.
Not really sure which step to take next to be honest...any suggestions appreciated!

How can I manage several itunes accounts on only one iPhone4S?

I don't want to get illegaly some applications from my friends or collegues itunes account.
In fact, my company decided to give me an iPhone4S for a professional usage and it is strongly recommended to not use my personal itunes account.
(I had already an iPhone 4 for personal usage)
So I created a new iTunes account, dedicated to professional usage. Now, I need to download on my professional iPhone business applications that I have bought with my personal itunes account.
I hope that it's a common problem with iPhone in the enterprise and that somebody has found the solution...

This is a good opportunity to have a User Account for each of your family members. And each User Account can login iTunes with their desired Apple ID.
You can set this up from the Apple Logo > System Preferences > Users & Groups.

Can someone please explain and help me? I am unlocking an iphone4 from at&t to use it on the straight talk network. They've confirmed my request to do this and I am now a little confused as to what to do next. They want me to back up the phone using itunes on either a MAC or PC. Install iTunes on your Acer and you can back up the iPhone. Or back it up to iCloud. If you do not back it up you can get it unlocked, but you will lose all of your content.
You can get iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes.
Even after unlocking I'm not sure it will work on Straight Talk, because last time I checked ST used Verizon as its carrier, and an AT&T iPhone 4 is not compatible with Verizon's network. You can probably use it on Net 10 or T-Mobile once it is unlocked.

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

Yes there genuine apple earphones I have now blown down jack slot and silly enough I turned my phone off and now it's back on earphones working properly now feeling a wee but silly as such a simple thing got them working.

Do you possibly mean the contacts have been merged?
If so, where are each of you syncing contacts? A supported application on the computer? iCloud or another cloud service? An Exchange server?
WIthout details, it's difficult to offer specific resolutions.
