IPhone4, OS5, Bluetooth connection in A6 break down

The connection worked with iOS4.x and my Audi A6 (2007). After my Update to iOS5 i can connect, then make a call and durch the first 30 seconds the connection gets lost and cannot be connected again?! I have to reboot both. What can I do?

I fixed mine. After hours of struggle!!!
I turned off Siri from settings. I deleted bluetooth pairing with my car ("forget this device"). I re-established bluetooth connection. I turned Siri back on. All fine (so far).
If this works for the rest of you kindly pass it along to one or two of the other 1000 posts on this issue. People are very frustrated right now. This one is not obvious.

Apple has a new activation way, if one of hardware part in your device is not match with Apple database. Your phone could not active again. I think if I buy an Iphone from Apple, is totally my phone, I can access all data in it, I can fix it if break down without Apple's permission. What's happen if one day my phone's Wifi, Signal, Bluetooth... are break down? I cannot access my data, continuing using my own phone?
Apple can do everything to reject illegal activation, but not people likes me. I'm not a thief, I'm using a global phone!

U430 touch - Bluetooth Connection regularly breaks down

All,
I have a U430 touch with Windows 8.1 64bit and work with a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse with Bluetooth connection.
The Bluetooth connection regularly breaks down and the Mouse stops working. The internal Pad is working properly.
In this situation I go to "PC Configuration" / "PC and Periherie" and click to "Bluetooth" (with the internal pad, because the mouse is not working ;-) )
The Bluetooth connection "heals" immediately and the Mouse starts working.
Unfortunately I have this behaviour every 5-10 Minutes and I do not see a clear pattern when it happened.
Does anyone have an idea, a solution for this? It is really annoying.
Please find enclosed the driver and Programs I have installed.

Try the latest Intel drivers, they are supposed to fix some of the wifi/BT issues with the intel 7260ac boards.

My apple tv(3rd Gen) total screws. connection always break down, nothing changes on the setting!!! no movies, no iTunes, only seconds than it is gone!!

One month after purchase and perfect functioning my apple Tv is screwed! I can not stream any content to since the connection always breaks down after second, also itunes etc cannot be accessed!!
I did everything, changed Routher channels to all possible options(13 different and although everything worked before), resetted at the PC ( Was not possible to wifi, connection broke doWn), also resetted the Router. I switched of HD and all kinds off things, no sign of change!
I found out that actually some apple TV's have a problem with the wifi chip, might be one of those?
Contacted Apple, they are exchanging it against a used and repaired one?!?! Hello?! It is one month old!!!! No scratches!! And I still had to wait before they checked mine!!!
I want a new one!! Support is an hilarious excuse for a company that sells this kind of quality image!!! I am hugely disappointed!!

So you are having a network connection issue. Have you run the network diagnositics to test the connection? Have you trying using a wired connection to isolate if it is a WiFi issue?

It is not likely if you just bought it new. You can google for the model numbers that were specificly recalled though if you want to check.

A lot of the issues posted are network related. Most come down to WiFi issues. Streaming video rarely works well over WiFi unless you have extremely high end WiFi hardware to support it. Any streaming video product will work better connected via eithernet.

PC breaks down when connecting with iPhone

For about 2 weeks my PC breaks down whenever I try to connect with iPhone. A blue screen appears and it shuts down immediately. After restart the same happens again. Can anyone help me?

Does your PC have software for a Logitech QuickCam/Webcam, Lexmark scanners, or a built-in media card reader?

Phone connection is breaking down after a second of ringing

When trying to make a phonecall, the phone dials correctly and connects to the recipient. you hear it ringing with a free tone and after one second
the connection breaks down, you hear a busy signal.
The same happens when anyone tries to call me. You see the incoming call, after one second the connection breakes down and the display
shows "missed call"
Is this problem known ?

I can´t imagine, that it is a carrier problem. All other functions as sms, internet and so on are working fine and without any problem

I have an iphone4 which cannot connect via Bluetoooth with ipad2, even though I tried all that is said in Apple support , but still no success. Really cannot understand as my iphone4 connects to a Bluetooth ear piece which is of different make and these 2 piece's are from Apple but cannot establish a connection via Bluetooth. The iPhone is not designed to Bluetooth pair with a computer or an iPad except for personal hotspot (sharing the phone's cellular internet connection). My IPad 3 wi-fi connection breaks down regularly!

My wi-fi connection will break down soon after I connect. When I go to settings, the wi-fi setting reads "Not Connected". I tap the wi-fi and connection is restored, but will break down maby a few minutes, maby 15 minutes later. It might last a a couple of hours to be fair.

Hi, after upgrading to IOS6 I have been having the same problem with my Ipad 2 and Netgear MBRN3000.
Previously everything was working fine.
Now, none of the solutions above seem to work at home and obviously I don't have control of wifi configurations around the world. In any case my personal router's settings are fine and I am not willing to change them.
I have also tried resetting the device a number of times.
So finally this is not my problem or routers problem this problem is due to apple (notice the lower case a) and it's faulty, buggy, ****** IOS6 release.
PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM ASAP AND POST AN UPDATE!!!!

Bluetooth connection slowing down Wifi connection

I have seen few discussions here about this topic but I haven't found the right solution to my problem.
So each time I turn on the Bluetooth connection the wifi connection becomes really slow. I am using the Bluetooth connection mostly for my external keyboard.
I am using Maverick 10.9.2 OS.
I read somewhere that the problem occurs because of the frequency range that my wifi and bluetooth are using, currently both are using 2.4 Ghz.
However, I am not able to change the frequency from my pocket wifi router (from 2.4 to 5 Ghz) which could solve the problem.
Any ideas, is there any other solution to this problem?
I guess I could just buy a USB keyboard instead Bluetooth but it's not ideal.

Unfortunately, it's a problem that's been going on for years (at least 4) and I've yet to find a satisfactory answer.
It shouldn't be a problem with the 2.4GHz range - but you could always test this, of course, by purchasing a dual band router. I have one of the 5th generation Apple Extreme's and it works quite well (though, if I were buying now, I would upgrade to the newest AE).
My only other suggestion would be to take your MacBook Pro into your local Apple Store and see if they know how to fix the problem.

Bluetooth connection "session failed" error

hi everyone,
i got a weird problem, that i can't make any sense of. without changing any settings or meddling with the system, my iSync started to refuse to cooperate.
so what's the prblem... now whenever i want to sync my Sony Ericsson, the bluetooth session gets established but right afterwards the only response i get is:
phone: "Session failed Connection interrupted"
mac: "unexpected error"
the weird part being that the remote control option/file access etc. works perfectly fine... even the contacts get synced, but whenever i want to include the calendar the connection breaks down.
i already tried to delete all iCal information on the phone, no changes... any ideas how i can get unstuck are really appreciated!

If you uncheck the syncing of Calendars in iSync, does the sync complete without errors?
If so, that suggests some corruption in one or more of your calendars, and I'd suggest contacting the providers of the iSync Plugin you are using for assistance, or visit their website support pages. They would be the best people to advise what to do in such circumstances.

How do I connect my Centro to the Internet via bluetooth over PC's Internet? Where is Centro's PPP Connection Type? How do I setup Login Script for bluetooth connection?

I am trying to set up bluetooth on the Centro to connect to the internet via my PC's internet.
HotSync over bluetooth works successfully.
Computer specs: Toshiba P205-S6277; Bluetooth Stack v5.10.04 (currently using); Bluetooth Monitor v3.01 (to use Vista's built-in bluetooth)
I think I have narrowed my problem down to 3 things.
(1) Finding Network Access properties (to allow connected devices to access the internet)
(2) Finding Centro's Network Connection Type: PPP
(3) Finding the correct Login Script to use
for (1) I think I've looked everywhere; found nothing on Network Access.
Checked control panel: only Bluetooth Local COM
Right-clicked bluetooth icon > Settings: File transfer, PAN Networking, PAN DHCP server, AV controls. Other bluetooth settings are for file transfer or object push. I don't see anything like this.
I'm stumped on (2). It seems as if palm removed this option under Centro's Advanced network settings .
Nearly all the forums that I read says to choose Connection Type: PPP.
(3) Found 2 scripts that seemed would work. I don't know how it exactly works but it sounds workable.
First script:

**UPDATE** I found on this forum (Reply # 3689) that the script is needed only if you are using Palm OS 4 or under. Centro uses Palm OS 5.49121. Can anyone support this?
Even without the script it has problems "Signing In".
I'm currently reading this site and trying out its decribed methods. I will update this thread when I get the results.
I'm using the Centro. And If anyone's been able to successfully connect to the internet on the Centro via a bluetooth connection to the PC WITHOUT 3rd party applications, please share. If not, please share any ideas.

I've been going at this for days, and have probably exhausted all the proposed solutions on the first 3 pages of various google searches. I'm getting the feeling that Vista users are pretty much SOL for the time being.
For the record, I just tried out a few of the solutions (mRouter & SoftickPPP) on XP and they work perfectly.

Bluetooth connection with audi MMI iphone 4 drops after software update 5.0.1

After uptdating my iPhone 4 with software 5.0.1, I have problems with my bluetooth connection in my car (2006 Audi MMI). When I make a call or someone calls me, after a minute or so, the connection is lost for 10- 15 seconds, and then reconnects again. Pretty annoying.
Someone got a solution?

I got the exact same problem. Noticed in the morning while hoping to check out the extra features.
