Il mio iPhone mi fa navigare con rete dati cellulare ma non mi fa ne ricevere ne effettuare chiamate e messaggi.. Qualche soluzione?
Ciao anche io come te devo assolutamente manifestare la mia perplessità e delusione nei confronti di quella che è sempre stata un'azienda leader nella fornitura di servizi prima ancora che di semplici telefoni,l'assistenza apple è sempre stata perfetta,tale da giustificare il costo elevato del prodotto,ma oggi tutto questo non vale più,mi sono ritrovato con un telefono (iphone 5) con una batteria praticamente fusa,che non mi è stato sostituito solo per via di qualche colpo subito,forse alla Apple pensano che il telefono vada tenuto in una teca protetto dal mondo esterno,quanto prima anche io come tanti altri user cambierò terminale virando su un bel Samsung e per uno che come me possiede un macbook pro,un imac e ben 2 ipad credo sia un bel colpo per la Apple,scusa per lo sfogo

Prova a fare così: spegni qualunque tipo di connessione (wifi, 2G/3G/4G, localizzazione, bluetooth ecc), imposta la modalità aereo, chiudi tutte le app dal multitasking, e poi fai un riavvio (tenendo premuti insieme il tasto power e quello home nello stesso momento; vedrai che lo schermo si spegnerà e si riaccenderà fino a quando comparirà la classica mela all'avvio, in quel momento puoi lasciare i tasti e far finire l'avvio dell'iPhone. Sblocca lo schermo, disattiva la modalità aereo, inserisci il PIN e attendi che riacchiappi la rete e vedi se cambia qualcosa.
Altrimenti potrebbe essere qualche valore inserito ed errato tra le impostazioni del gestore.
Ultima spiaggia prima di andare in un negozio Tre: ripristino iPhone da DFU senza ricaricare il backup precedente e vedi se si ripresenta il problema. -
da un po di giorni non funziona più la parte telefonica. Il segnale non compare più sul dislay e quindi non riesco a ricevere ed effettuare telefonate. sul display compare semre la scritta "cerco" o "nessun servizio".

Do you have cellular data turned on (Settings>General>Network)?
Do you have a cellular data icon (3G or mabe 4G) showing on the right had side of the carrier identification in the upper left?

How can I us internet if none available in home. Have cable tv, no computer, concerned about racking up datga charges when renting movies, or streaming videos. Have a cellular data plan, but too expensive for movies.
You need to add Internet to your cable plan and your provider will give you a modem. Then you plug a wifi router into that to get wireless Internet to your iPad.

TS3899 My Ipod touch 4G cannot connet to internet anymore
My ipod touch 4G cannot connet to internet eventhough it can be connected to different wifi networks.
I can see the device is connected to the WIFI network but Safari or email doesnt work. Also, when I go to game center I am asked to enter my user and password and then the device will not send it (over thje internet).
Tryed several troubleshooters. What else can I do to make it work???

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

All Linksys equipment stopped working! But have internet with NON LinkSYS equipment
My setup is eccentric but has worked for very long. It stopped working Friday. Let me first say there is a reason why I set it up this way. The reason for my setup is based on location of various IP equipment and when I originally purchased the equipment (in case you are wondering why I didn't go a different route). All routers and network card/devices are Linksys. The only non LinkSYS device is a Netgear Print server and 1 PCI card installed on a 2nd PC.
Here is my setup: From a high speed modem, into a wireless BEFW11S4 (4 port router). Port 1 unused. Port 2 to a second wired router, (for DIRECTV VOD and future VUDU) on the other side of house. Port 3 to a local PC. Port 4 to wireless router WRT54G on the far end of house (I used one of the ports not the WAN connection). Wireless is active for both routers. DHCP is disabled except for main basement router. I treated all routers beyond basement one as gateways per say.
My problem: I have several PC's with wireless cards/ devices. Only one working is 1 XP laptop Dell, as noted below (non Linksys) and does so wirelessly and also with a wired connection. The Directv also works from wired router (2nd in line). The Wii also works properly from either wireless router. Of course my PC to the first router also sees the internet. All locations see both routers with 80+% signal. My house is small, but do to wiring limitations, this is the best solution to get internet.
MY PC setups, models given are Linksys except as stated:
1 XP PC w/WUSB54G (USB card)
1 2000 Pro w/ Netgear WG311 (PCI card) Very old PC and does not see internet, it does search and find both routers with high signal. Internet has worked in the past, although not used for some time. I can possibly assume it just does not work or may also be related to this issue.
1 XP Dell with internal wireless (working fine!) Will work with either wireless router and also communicates with print server successfully.
1 2000 Pro w/WPC11 PCMCIA card
1 XP with Linksys PCI card (don't have model number handy)
I also changed ports of the wired equipment to verify it wasn't a bad port. I have internet connectivity on non Linksys equipment. Some of the computers I use daily, the others have not been turned on in a very long time. After problem arose, I decided to check these computers too. I have not made any changes to the setup. As stated I came home and noticed no internet and went to troubleshoot issue. I have used the Linksys software on all products listed to setup the network.(Original disks that came with each equipment) It will show it can see the routers, but shows NO internet connectivity, but all show it sees either router, but does not see the internet. I must stress that I have not altered any of the setup, it just stopped without warning.
At first I assumed it may just be the wire to one router. (The WRT45G). I have also unplugged all equipment, renewed IP, restarted PC, and also repowered modem. What is bothering me is that the DELL is working fine, including being able to print, the Wii is fine and talks out, and I can renew IP and download VOD from the second wired router and DIRECTV reciever. I also assumed that maybe it was an issue with a new Microsoft patch but a few of the PC's have not been on in months, well before this problem arose. Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy post. I wanted to be as complete as possible. Any suggestions or ideas is appreciated. I have not found any solution on this forum or off of the internet.
NOTE: I also reinstalled software to 2 PC's including reentering my WEP. This has not solved issue either. Problem remains the same. I have also checked internet properties and network configs (on those PCs) although I cannot imagine every PC has changed itself.

Go to Solution.It does not seem to be an adapter or any of your computer's issue, from what you have described I would assume that your router is experiencing some connectivity issues...You should reset both your router's and then re-configure them both...
As you explained that one computer to the first router connects to internet, you may download the first router's firmware and upgrade it...You may download the firmware from here
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Similarly upgrade your second router and upgrade it's firmware...I think after this you should be able to get connection on all the computers... -

I have an iphone 4 and all of a sudden none of the apps will work, except the ones that came with the phone. When I open them the screen goes black then it goes back to the homescreen.
Also when I plug the phone into itunes it only gives me the option to either restore or eject the phone. Up until today I never had any problems, I sync it regularly and all the software (inc itunes) is up to date. The last time I backed it up was about a month ago when I got the phone, (a replacement as my other iphone4 had loads of problems) so I don't want to have to restore it and lose everything off it!
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.

Are you new to the iPhone and using Apple products? Are you syncing the iPhone to your computer and is it a Mac or a Windows machine? What version IOS is on the iPhone? Do you have WIFI turned on and are you in a WIFI area?
The more information you supply, the more of a chance we can help you solve the problem.
Acquiring an Apple ID has nothing to do with your phone's ability to connect to the internet. -

Make a favorite mailbox. Favorites appear at the top of the Mailboxes list. To add one, tap Edit while viewing the Mailboxes list. Tap Add Mailbox, then select the mailboxes to add. You’ll also get push notifications for your favorite mailboxes.
When creating a favorite mailbox "Unread" will be an option. After adding this mailbox, check to see that there are any unread emails, and if needed, delete these emails.

I just got a new iphone 4 (my first one) and the internet worked great at the store, as well as in the parking lot at the grocery store on the way home - yes I was playing with it! Anyway, now that I'm home and the store is closed, it won't connect to my home wifi. It sees the guest network, but it doesn't give me place to put in the password, so I'm not sure if that's why it won't work. Also, I don't know what settings to put in for the screen that comes after the network choice screen - it has IP Addresses with DHCP, BootP, and Statis (I don't know what any of these are or mean!) It also has a 'renew lease' button that I have no idea what to do with, and it has a section with HTTP proxy that is highlighted "off" but also has 'manual' and 'auto' options - maybe these are not set correctly?

Thanks so much!If you look at the top left of your screen you will either see a 3G (or 4G if you have AT&T) or you will see the wi-fi symbol. If you don't see the wi-fi symbol you are connecting to Gmail through your cellular data plan, not via wi-fi.
To answer your question, it doesn't happen often but when it does the steps I mentioned above will normally resolve it. Hopefully you won't have any further problem with this. -

Do you have admin control over your computer?
Is it your computer or a schools, etc?
Possible nannyware was installed, cutting you off and recording everything your doing.
Perhaps there is a DNS Service that's blocking your access.
Try typing the numbers
23.1.61.15
into the address bar after 9PM when it's not connecting.
Also there are possible ISP controls/data caps that might be not letting you connect.
