My Iphone4 speakers not working while calling only and they work elswhere!!
I tried to reset the devise with sleep and home buttens but nothing changed?!

IPhone 4S speakers not working on calls and Apples shocking customer service

Today, just three weeks after buying my brand new iPhone 4S the speakers completely gave up for making and sending calls and on speakerphone the interference is painful. After an hour in the Orange shop I had to go home and restore the phone on Apple's instructions. Predictably this didn't work - why would it?! So I call Apple again and I'm told they'll give me a replacement and I have three options -
1) I post them my phone and I get one back from them SEVEN days later. Told them I can't go that long without a phone so we move to option 2...
2) Go to an Apple store. I live in Edinburgh - nearest store is 70 miles away in Glasgow!
3) They send me a new phone by UPS and pick up the old one but, and this is the good bit, they want ME to pay £29 for the privilege!!!!
A three week old phone and rather than bending over backwards to apologise and make it right they think it's OK to ask me for money! So thanks to the teacher's strike tomorrow myself and my son are on a day trip to Glasgow just to get my iPhone replaced.
This service is as bizarre as it is appalling. If it had been any other phone such as the Samsung Galaxy SII I so clearly should have got then I'd just have been given a new phone in the shop I got it in. But no, not with an Apple. This is my first experience of Apple, my first iPhone. I have a two year contract but I have VERY long memory.....

I'd go for door number 2.

Multitasking not working while calling DLL

This is my problem:
I have LV DLL based driver, every function in this driver is
reentrant, every DLL call is reentrant.
I want to communicate with number if instruments via this driver.
So I programatically clone the VI which communicates with instrument.
When I run all cloned VIs in parallel to communicate with all
instruments, the DLL calls are executed sequentialy.
Why there are not able to dynamically generate new threads ?

Dear Greg,
Thank you for your answer. I checked all the setting and I am sure
that I have these settings correct as you wrote. I tried the VI for
changing allocation of the threads, but the number of threads is too
small for me.
If I am right LV maximum thread number is number of preffered
execution system multiplied available priorities (App.Note 114), what
happened and how in threadconfig.vi is clear for you only (this vi is
locked, by the way number of locked vi's increases with LV version
number :-( - why this? )
I have from 50 to 200 points with same instrument on every point. So I
need up to 200 parallely running tasks for communicate with these
instruments via DLL based instrument driver, in every parallel task is
unique instrument session, but calling different functions from the
same DLL. Now I am not able to do it in LabView, only way is to use
LabVIEW native driver, but in this case I loose advantages of IVI
driver. Do you have any idea how to use IVI driver in 200 parallel
tasks?

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried.
1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
4. If you've installed a software equalizer called "Boom" or anything similar, update or delete it and restart.
5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select the Output tab. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them. Move the Volume sliders all the way to the right.
7. If a red light is coming from the audio-out port, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
11. Reset the NVRAM.
12. Reset the SMC.
13. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
14. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

Verizon iPhone4 does NOT work in Hongkong Airport

Asian travelers be aware.... the Verizon iPhone4 does NOT work at Hongkong International Airport.... I couldn't make any phone call out and can't receive any incoming calls either.... although the phone has the WEAK signal of roaming (1 to 2 lines)...but any phone calls I tried to make or text messaging all did NOT go through.... it was such a huge disappointment. I just don't know why my old verizon blackberry phone worked great in Hongkong/China/Taiwan and the iPhone just did not work....
Also be aware, even if you have the WiFi connection, the Verizon iPhone will NOT allow you to browse the internet using Safari, becuase it will ask you to turn on the data-roaming service.... what kind of plan is this ???? I waited for the iPhone to be available for so long but it turned out to be useless when I needed it the most... thinking about returnnig it due to the service failure

The blackberry was most likely a dual mode (CDMA EVDO Rev-A and Quad Band GSM) with a sim card for global roaming such as the storms, tour and bold as mentioned above. Data on the iPhone should've worked on wifi unless Verizon and Apple crippled the phone. The map for hong kong lists cdma roaming but says Advanced EVDO device required so not sure if the iphone 4 falls under that or not. http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/Asia-Pacific/Hong%20Kong.html

My iphone 6 plus fingerprint scan is not working while charging. Is this normal?
I tried my iphone 5s and it works just fine even while charging.

If you're using generic lightning cable (non-original lighting cable), the fingerprint scan doesn't work while charging.
I just find it weird as my iphone 5s works even if i'm not using the original lightning cable though.

If you see a red light in the audio output port, then the internal switch is stuck. Insert the earphone plug a few times and see if you can trip the switch. If that fails, insert a cocktail stirrer and the like and jiggle it around inside. If that fails, take it to an Apple store and have the technicians at the genius bar do it for you.

Built-in speakers not working

Please help;
Built-in speakers not working after using audio port to run remote speakers.
I tried using the FAQ in iTunes to solve problem. Built-in speakers will not play sound.
Under system prefs., sound, the device shows; Digital Out under port; Built-in Output
Under settings for the selected device;
The selected device has no outpt controls.
When I adjust volume the sound level meter shows level on high but cancelled out (circle w/ slash).
I notice RED LIGHT from inside sound port. Sound works when headphone are plugged in but not external speakers.

Try a reset:
- Hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time. When the Apple logo appears release both buttons then try and charge again.
If issue persists try:
- Another known working cable
- Check the charging port for any damage or debris
- You could also use a dry soft bristle toothbrush and gently brush it on the port to clean it of any debris that could be in there

Hi Ersin,
Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?
