Iphone4s says no more storage bmut has 13gb storage in iCloud

iCloud storage is used for backing up your content (e.g. the contents of your apps, emails etc), the message that you are receiving is probably telling you that you are running out of space on your actual iPhone. What value is shown on your iPhone in Settings > General > About > Available - if that value is low then you will need to delete items from your phone (apps, music, photos, etc) before you will be able to download/sync new content to it.

You might have storage remaining in iCloud but the iPhone has to have local storage available to function properly.
Look for material such as large files of video, photos, etc that can be removed.  You need to free space on this device.

  • Purchase More Storage on iCloud

Been trying to purchase more storage on iCloud, but no success.
On the ios devices (iphone4s and ipad2) when trying to buy more storage 50GB $100 per year option, my apple id password is asked.
After submitting, it says completing purchase but finally "An unknown error has occured" window pops up.

    Hi
I have the same problem. I discovered by using the iCloud control panel on my desktop computer allows me to get around the problem. You might want to explore that option.

  • I have my own icloud account separate from my family's apple ID for itunes. I need more storage for icloud...do I have to pay a separate $20/ month to get more storage or does the $20 include all members of the plan?

If your iCloud account uses your family's Apple ID, you will pay $20/year for all your family members. If your iCloud account uses a different Apple ID than your family's Apple ID, you will pay only for you

  • TS4009 i bought more storage from iclouds and it is not going to the storage please help me!!!

i bought more storage from iclouds and its not showing that i have more storage what do i do????

What do you mean by "its not showing that i have more storage"?
The storage you but on iCloud should show on iCloud and not on your device.
There is no way to increase the amount of storage on an iPhone short of selling the old one and buying a new one with more storage.

  • My ipad2 and iphone4s won't back up.  I even bought more storage on icloud?

My ipad2 and iphone4s won't back up.  I have even bought more storage?  Not sure what to do next?

If you no longer need the backups, you can delete them by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of device you want to delete the backup for (under Backups at the top), then tap Delete Backup.  This will permanently delete it from your account, freeing up the storage it occupies.

  • TS3274 iPad says not enough storage in iCloud-this message is in a box in the middle of the screen-wont let me do anything except power off! Help please!

My iiPad has a message that says not enough storage available on iCloud the only thing I can do is turn the iPad off. It's like the message is frozen on there! help what can I do

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • More storage on iCloud

The only things I have backing up on iCloud are pictures, calendar, and contacts. I deleted all of my pictures from photostream on my iPhone and I moved all of my pictures from iCloud into another folder on my PC but it's still saying my iCloud does not have enough storage for backup.  Any ideas how else I can make more storage on my iCloud without purchasing more storage?  Seems like if I deleted my photostream on my iPhone and removed the pictures from my photostream on my PC it would make more room.  ???

The only apps I have for iCloud are my photostream, calendar and my contacts.  I deleted all of the photos in my photostream but it did not give me any more storage space.  Before I deleted the photos it would not back up and showed it was almost full.  I thought it would free up some space once I deleted the over 100 photos from my photostream and on my iCloud on my PC.  That's why it does not make sense to me.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

  • HT4847 I purchased more storage from icloud and it won't download on my iPhone

I purchased more icloud storage because mine ran out from photo capacity and it's not adding the extra storage. Should I repurchase or troubleshoot? Anyone know how to help?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Purchasing additional storage in iCloud, does not give you additional storage on your mobile device.

  • Deleted all data still says NOT enough storage for Icloud back up

I have deleted  from my two devices (Iphone 4s and Mini Ipad) all my pictures , videos, emails and notes ( I dont store music)  and I still get the not enough storage on icloud. I dont understand, if i don't have anything in my phone or Ipad why I keep on getting this message. I havent been able to delete apps though.  I dont know what I am doing wrong. What can be occupying space if I have deleted everything.
    Thank you.
I would welcome any help. I am

It's iCloud you don't have enough storage on, not the phone.
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage > Manage...... on your iOS device. Or System Preferences > iCloud > Manage...... on a Mac.
    You have 3 options......
    Purchase more iCloud storage.
Delete data or back ups that are being stored in iCloud already.
Turn off items to be included in the next back up to reduce its size.
