Iphone4s stuck on apple logo. NOT JAILBROKEN. Fix WITHOUT restoring?
My Iphone4s is stuck on apple logo, won't go past it. My phone is NOT JAILBROKEN. How can I fix WITHOUT restoring? Is it possible? Even if just to get my stuff off there. I have important data that is not backed up/not synced. Phone was working fine, I have done nothing to alter phone at all. I turned it off because I couldn't get cell signal and then when I turned it back on: stuck on apple logo. I don't know what IOS version. I appreciate the help! Thank you!!
As already provided:
You can try resetting the phone: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it.

look man you shouldnt have jailbroken this happend to my cusion and i think what your experiencing is a boot loop and if you want to get out youll need to restore your ipod and do some other stuff look it up on the internet

My iPod touch 4th gen is stuck on the Apple logo for over 20 min now. I've tried to put it in recovery mode, but a second or two after it shuts off, the apple logo comes back. My PC and iTunes can't recognize it, and I want to find a way to restore or reboot it. Thx in advance!

Just updated my iPad 1 to the latest software, (12May2012) and I'm stuck with the apple logo after re set.
Tried all the suggested fix's. It refuses to budge.
It will be a long wait but if I leave it on, does a battery discharge fix the problem? or should I leave it on charge?

Discharge it first, I'd say. By the way, plugging in the iPad charger with the wall socket turned off sometimes increase the rates of battery discharging. -
i turned my iPhone 4 off this evening and tried turning it back on. It has been stuck on the apple logo for 2 hours!! please help!!

i have encountered this problem even after 10 hours of troubleshooting various methods, when i turned off my ipad and when turning it back on, it would just hang during the white apple logo on the black screen and remain there with no sign of activity till i hold the lock + home button till it shuts down.
after several attempts, i tried to put it into recovery and restore firmware, it would get stuck at stage "preparing ipad for restore" after i click on restore ipad.
i have attempted:
dfu and restore, 1600 error
recovery and restore, 21 error
my ipad 2 is wi-fi only model running ios 5.0.1.
i can't think of anything else other than sending it to applecare. my ipad 2 was recently purchased in jan this year. any input would be greatly welcomed!Just follow these steps. I am sure it will solve your problem.

i tried to restore the iphone In a windows pc and on a Mac. when i restored my iphone on the Mac the iphone worked 2 times then it happen again the same problem...

My iPhone 5s on ios 8.1.2 is stuck at Apple logo or recovery mode.. To fix this issue, i need to update it to ios 8.2 through itunes.. I want to ask that my data i.e. Photos and other personal data would be removed after updating it or not..?

Please help me sort out this issue..Recovery mode doesn't mean that all your data is already lost. You only lose your data if you restore it.
When you plug the phone is into iTunes hold down the home button. iTunes may then give you the option JUST to update the software first. This should not get rid of any data.
However, if iTunes is only giving you the option to RESTORE and update, then you will lose your data I'm afraid.

Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.
