Iphone5 cant get it registered to me?
After trying for 9months to get my iphone registered to me, after buying it new from ebay. It is still registered to the previous owner. He refuses to reply to my calls, texts and emails, after saying he would transfer the ownership. This leaves me, unable to call it mine, after paying hundreds for it, it could be reported stolen. Apple wont help. TMobile wont help. i cant sell it. Its not mine. And never will be. Unless someone knows a way of sorting this unfair mess for me?
Do you mean that the device has Find My iPhone enabled for another Apple ID under Settings > iCloud, or that the device is in Activation Lock (requiring you to enter the Apple ID & password used to enable Find My iPhone/Activation Lock)? If so, then the only way that can be removed is:
A) Use the Apple ID & Password it requires.
B) Have the previous owner remove the device from their iCloud Account.
C) Have the original purchaser contact Apple and request the device be removed from Activation Lock (this will require a proof-of-purchase from the original Apple Authorized Retail Store).
That's it. No other options exist. However, I would contact Ebay, report the seller, and ask them to intervene on your behalf.

Have been Firefox user many years. Had to uninstall Windows7. On reinstall Windows asked me to choose default browser, chose Crome. Registered and signed in with Firefox .Have not received promised email.Tried twice.Therefor cant start using Firefox as cant get past Start page.
Was the registration for Firefox Sync ??
There is a form on the welcome page to sign up for the newsletter, but you do not need to wait to use Firefox on the web. You should be able to search using the search bar, or address bar, or the built-in home page (possibly a second tab behind or next to the welcome page). Try clicking the home button (house icon on the main toolbar).
If the welcome page keeps coming back every time you restart Firefox, that might be caused by a different issue, a problem updating your settings. Is that the problem? -

Try resetting the iPod by holding the Menu and Center button for about 10 seconds. You should see the screen shut off and come back on with the Apple logo. If that doesn't work you'll want to try to restore the iPod through iTunes.

No need to shout - we are not hard of hearing.
Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.
See:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure". -

New ipod - cant get a tv episode on it
ok. i just got a new ipod. Replacing an old one. i wanted an ipod with video on it. I got all of my music videos ect on it. but i cant get a tv episode that i bought in the past to go on it. I dont know if i did something wrong when i registered the ipod or what. Any help or suggestions?????
So you can manually drag/drop TV shows onto the iPod but you can't get them to sync? I honestly don't know why that's happening if you have enough free space on your iPod.

Cant get rid of product registration reminder
it wont go away no matter if you register or say dont remind me again, i've tried uninstalling creative but its still there, and i cant get rid of the bit that i need to!!? is there a way to completely wipe anything to do with creative off your computer in one go, cos currently i can only find the programmes in parts

Not completely. Apparently it was still signed into their iCloud account with Find My iPhone enabled or you would not get the prompt. There is no way to bypass it. That is the whole point of it's design. It is a theft deterrent.

My Macbook pro no longer outputs to my vizio led tv. It was working fine now I cant get any picture. It just says no signal. It is not the hdmi or the adapter because it works fine with my other tv. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Please be as specific as possible. Thanks. BTW--I am using the mini dvi to hdmi adapter in case that was unclear.
Since you say that the same connectors work on your other TV is suggests that the fault is not in the connectors but your Vizio TV. I would check the settings on the Vizio TV. Verify that is is set to receive HDMI input. Perhaps you or some one else has inadvertently changed them. Pressing the wrong buttons on a remote control device can do that. (I am assuming no changes were made in SYSTEM PREFERENCES>DISPLAYS)

I am not good with computers. I am trying to get my iTunes onto this new laptop but it says I am only allowed to have it on 5 computers and I must take it off one to ut it on this new laptop. Problem is, apart from my iPad, I have lost one laptop and two have been broken beyond repair so I am unable to take it off! Anyone any ideas? I have tried to get iTunes support but cant get past the "date of purchase" as I can only guess when I bought my ipod (2009)

You can only authorise the songs you purchase from the iTunes Store to play on five computers.
You can download and install iTunes (the iTunes programme) onto as many computers as you wish.
Two different things.
Assuming therefore, that your problem is that you have authorised five computers, but now no longer have some of them, you need to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise the computers you still have.
To de-authorise your computers, go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the Deauthorise All button. -
I tried downloading a free app and it asked for my billing information and when I entered it, it said that there was a billing problem with a previous purchase and I have to update it. I keep updating it and it wont let me verify it and I cant get any apps even if they are free, and I just Deleted some apps to make room for my new upate!
The message says: "The payment method has been denied, try another method"
I'm living in the same country and city since I was born, so I don't think the location is the problem.
And yes, I paid with the card a meal in Burguer King today. And nothing more.
