Iphone5 screen freezes while checking messages

I have a problem with my iphone 5; it's quite common that the screen freezes while i'm checking my text messages... It doesn't stay that way very long, just a couple of seconds (like 10 sec maybe)... And then it goes back to normal...
It perfectly works with other apps though... Has anyone had that problem before? Do you know what should be done? Should i take my phone to the Apple store?

Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...
If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...

Bad or incompatible RAM is, more often then not, the cause of most Kernel Panics. It could also just need to be reset.
Here's the most used site for Resolving Kernel Panics. Please do all the steps in order, even if you don't think you need to do a certain step.

Screen freezes while recording video.

Screen freezes while recording. I'm recording a video from Safari 7.1 using Quick Time Player 10.3 in OS10.9.5. The picture freezes after about an hour and a quarter. I'm using SoundFlower to capture the audio; the audio continues to flow and record while the picture remains static.

Hi again, I have found a solution for this! Go to the video in your iTunes library, and right click. Go to "Options" and then uncheck "Remember playback position". Once I did this the videos all played fine on my iPod.. they just won't keep track of where you left off. Hope this helps you both as well!

Screen freezes with restart message

Every time I turn on my Macbook now, after about 5 minutes the screen freezes and a message appears saying I have to press restart/turn my Mac on and the off. The message appears in about 5 languages including German and what looks like Chinese. Anything I'm working on the time is thus lost.
About a month ago I had the hard disk replaced because of a failure and I thought this might cure the problem. However, it didn't and I still keep getting the same message. It's really annoying as it happens quite randomly and means I lose any work I'm working on at the time.
Any suggestions/ideas/solutions?

I'm having exactly the same issue after performing the latest Java update. I'll try rebooting with the installation disk to see if there are any changes. I also had to replace my hard drive disk recently at the Apple store. If nothing changes, I'm calling Apple Care in the morning and will report back.

N70 Screen flickers while typing message

Hello:
I have bought Nokia N70 Music Edition 3 days back but i am noticing that the screen flickers while typing the message.
The screen flickering that occurs while typing a msg does not occur when i m using any of the nokia builtin themes...but when i m using the themes which i have downloaded from www.zedge.net, the flickering while typing msg takes place...i had installed the themes in mem card, but i have also tried installing them to phone and then checking the theme, but still the flickering occurs. The theme installation puts some application called OWN SKIN ANIMATOR in the startup of my mobile. It has something to do with the animation of the theme, although i have tried exiting the application and then testing the msg flickering, and it STILL occurs ...can u please suggest a solution or tell me some good themes or a good site to download themes for N70 ME.
P.S. I have been downloading themes from www.zedge.net for quite a long time and it has never created any problems on my previous phones i.e. Nokia 5200 and 6300

Ipad screen freezes while listening to music

this problem has occurred several times since i upgraded to IOS5 and basically when i am listening to music and want to change playlist or genre,etc... the screen freezes and it will not let me change to what i selected.Whatever i'm listening to that's it unless i go and restore ipad to it's original settings and then it works well until down the road it decides to freeze and must perform restore again.

Ok,i am replying to my question and i have found the solution!
I had set my auto lock to never and when i changed the auto lock to 15 minutes all my problems went away.It's been a week and my problem with the screen going black and not beign able to make any changes while listening to the music app has not come back.
Hopefully whomever reads this and has the same problem just follow my example and you should be fine.

Why does my screen freeze on my iphone 4 while using face time? I am connected to wi-fi and internet is working fine.

Is your iPhone storage capacity full or close to it?
Try a reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release. A reset is similar to computer restart.

Maybe someone can help me here. I ran into problems the last couple of days when I am typing the computer screen freezes for a few seconds,then it will blink,and let me type a few lines then does it again. I also noticed it does it sometimes when I'm visiting a news site,and going from link to link. I did run a disk cleanup,but that didn't help. I'm using a Satellite A105-S2716,and I have Windows XP-Home. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what may be happenning..Thank you for your help...

Computer freezes while checking NVRAM

my keyboard doesn't work after the computer boots up. It's like my computer freezes right after it boots and where it asks if u wanna enter the set up screen or logo screen. If I press the tab button rapidly while the computer starts up, it goes to the logo screen and then freezes. On the boot up screen it displays my memory size correctly, my clockspeed incorrectly (1250mhz instead of the correct value), and the DRAM clock = 200, SDRAM CAS Latency = 2. It displays "CHECKING NVRAM" and freezes there.

Your problem is one of the most common one - either CPU heatsink installation, PSU underpowered or RAM. The resolutions were addressed in the thread above.

In the last two months, we have observed that due to OS upgrade issues and some java script issues, some of the PSE 8 Mac users were not able to go past "Checking System Profile" check initialization dialog after 80-90% progress and installer welcome screen never launched....we dubug the issue, found a workaround and have created a Tech doc for the same. It took some time because we wanted to make sure that this works in all the cases or not. Attached are the logs from \library\logs\Adobe\Installers
I cleared out the logs, ran PSE Setup until it hung then did Force Quit on
Setup and attached the logs.

IPhone5 Screen Freeze

Hi all,
This is my first post so I will try and be as clear as possible so hopefully someone will be able to assist.
I have purchased an iPhone 5 (original so not S or C) for my girlfriend from Ebay which was refurbished by a reputable dealer. This is all setup and working but I am having an issue with the following symptoms:
The iPhone will freeze and only the home button is responsive (random occurrences)
To bring this back responsive I press the power button and unlock the screen
This happens regardless of whether the phone is charging or not and it doesn't matter if it is charging via a plug or connected to my laptop
The iPhone has been updated to the latest iOS (7.1.2)
The phone has been restored and then a backup put back onto this from her old phone
I have contacted the eBay seller and will also do a fresh restore so that I can see if the issue happens then and differentiate between the phone or the backup I have restored.
I would just like to know if anyone else has seen this and if there is a fix that is available?

N86 Screen blinking while scrolling messages!!!

When I go to messaging inbox and scrolling the messages using the right and left navigation keys the screen blinks completely for about 1 second when I scroll from message to another.
But when I go to Log and scroll the events what is changing on the screen is the information only, I mean the network and battery bars on top are not blinking.
I found this problem since firmware v21.006 and it also exists in V30.009.
Anybody having this problem or it is only me?

More on this. I tested two MacBooks and one MBPro (new) in the store and they all have the same scrolling artifact that mine does -- in Safari, but not in Finder, etc. -- just as I'm seeing it. An older (old design) MBPro does not have that artifact.
Showed it to one of the Geniuses and he saw it too, but it was news to him. Since it happens in Firefox and Safari we concluded it might relate to a common SDK element used in each program.
Anyway, I'm content now: It is what it is (vs. a defect in my particular unit) and otherwise I'm quite pleased with this MacBook. The artifact really has no practical impact on my use of the computer.

Iphone 5 screen freezes while using apps

Very frustrating problem. I have to power off, then open with the home button. This allows the phone to work, but it freezes back up shortly thereafter.
This is a brand new Iphone 5. I had a problem with my first iphone 5, the volume down button just stopped working. Took it to the store, and they gave me a replacement phone. This new replacement phone has been doing this ever since I got it. Probably freezing 5-10 times per day, minimum.
I am now doing a restore on the phone, hoping that this is a software issue.

you can try and explain the story but there is no way to prove that the drop didnt cause it or didnt. most likely they will not replace for free.

Screen freeze on new 13rMBP

I have a new 13rMBP 2.6/256 and I experienced a screen freeze while in Safari surfing a sports forum. The screen suddenly turned gray and I could not revive it.
The keys were still lit and I tried to close the lid but nothing happened. I had to do a hard shut down to revive it. Is this something I should be worried about. Maybe hardware problem?

Actually I have until January 7, 2014 because of the holiday return policy. This was a replacement for one I ordered at launch. I have run this machine constantly for the past two weeks and this was the first sign of any problems. I thought I had a good one this time but it did scare me today when the freeze happened. If this was a windows machine I would think nothing of it but this is not suppose to happen with a Mac. I guess I can return it for another replacement. I still have a month to see if it happens again.
