I'll assume Chicago time is incorrect and west coast time is what you want.
Try this: Go to Seetings > General > Date & Time and do these two things:
1. Turn "Set Automatically" off. Then set "Time Zone" right below it to a west coast city, say, Cupertino. If the time is shown incorrectly, do "Set Date and Time" and correct it
2. Turn "Set Automatically" back on.
If these steps don't correct it, contact your cellular carrier, as setting time automatically is in their hands.

I am experience a similar problem, my iphone 4 either turns off by itself or I am unable to answer a call. Everything just blocks. After contacting 2 different apple service spots still no answer as to how can we fix the problem. Worse, I am unable to revert back to ios 5.1.1 where everything worked just fine.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

How to get SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) time from any time Servers?

I am trying to get the date and time from any internet time servers (http://tf.nist.gov/service/time-servers.html). How do I get that within the java program.
ex: InetAddress address = InetAddress.getByName("time-nw.nist.gov");
then a variable holds the current date and time (optional any specific time zone)

You can use the Job Scheduler functionality within ASE or a UNIX OS cron job to cause something to happen at a particular time every day.
With Job Scheduler, you might have it use xp_cmdshell to execute a script on the OS,
while cron would just execute the script directly.
The script would log into ASE, run the select and store the results into a file, then send the file contents.
A simple example of such a script file might be:
isql -Usa -Ppassword -o /work/my_output.txt << EOF
select * from mydb..mystatus
go
EOF
mailx -s"My Daily Status" bret < /work/my_output.txt
As the file contains your password, be sure permissions are set so only you can read and execute the file.

Thunderbolt thinks I'm on the west coast instead if central time.

Recently got the HTC Thunderbolt. It randomly thinks my current location is Sacramento, CA (Pacific Time. I am located near New Orleans, LA (Central Time). I have tried to force it back with no luck. Spoke to VZW tech support, they are baffled also. I have the phone for about a week, this is the second time it's done this. First time it took about 18 hours to correct itself. Any thhoughts on how to correct?

If you are having issues with your Maps, try the following:
1. Select Menu
2. Select Settings
3. Turn off the VZW Location Services
Also, make sure GPS and Google Location Services are on. Once this is done, please go to Maps and lock on to your position.
If you are having issues with the Weather application, follow the steps listed above and manually refresh your Weather.

How to get elapsed time from start of current day

Hello,
I've tried to use the DateDiff function to calculate the elapsed time, starting from 00:00:00:000 (Midnight of current day), but I'm getting hung up on how to inform the function of what date values it should use. I could parse off the time section
of the
GetDate() function, but that doesn't seems a little klunky to me.
So, what I'm trying to capture is this (pseudo code):
Elapsed Time (int) = Select DateDiff(seconds, Current Day.Midnight, CurrentDay.CurrentSecond)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Applets cannot be run from the command line -- they run only in browsers that support Java.

This implies that interfaces can (and indeed very often will) have to import.
Correction: interfaces can also import other interfaces if they extend them!
For example, suppose you have an interface that declares one method, whose sole argument is an ArrayList -- the interface will have to import java.util.ArrayList:

public interface Something{
public void doThis(ArrayList list);
}Any class that implements the Something interface will have to provide a method with the same signature -- this is not the same as overriding.

Service ticket notes time from user time to utc

we have a requirement in crmd_order transaction in the service ticket notes .
The thing is the notes in the service ticket is taking the user time which has to be converted to utc.
can any body help regarding this.
is there any badi/userexit/screen exit for this plz any help

Can I switch credit cards and upgrade from the "Basic 30 day opt out trial" to the full version?

It seems the free trial does not allow me to create an HTML web form. To test the HTML web forms I must pay $0.99 for the 30 opt-out trial...
I want to test an HTML web form on FormsCentral for a few weeks to "kick the tires". But I work for a City government that requires leaping through bureauracratic hurdles to purchase online with a credit card.
So I am considering using my own personal credit card for the trial, and then opting-out.
If my testing goes well and once I get the purchase requisition processed by the City bean counters, I plan to re-enroll using the City P-Card as the credit card.
Question:
Can I save the HTML web forms created during the 30 day opt-out trial and somehow transfer them into the new Employer funded FormsCentral account? Or can I somehow reinstate the original account I opted out of, and apply a different credit card for that account?

First, the "Free" Formscentral account does allow you to create HTML web forms, that is the basis of the product and the Free level account gives you most of the HTML forms creation tools to explore. I'd recommend kicking the tires in the Free account and exploring the list of features you'd get by upgrading.
If you sign up for a "Basic 30 day opt out trial" you should be able to manage your account/subscription information here:

) Sign in using the AdobeID for your account
) On this page you should see your FormsCentral subscription listed and it will show how long until it expires and allow you to manage the account and billing information there.
If for whatever reason you needed to create a new account after approval from the bean counters you could share any forms that you created in the original account with the new account and then "Duplicate" the forms, you would lose the original URL to the form (each form would get a new URL when they were duplicated) but the form would be identical and you can duplicate with the responses. Another option is to "Export design file" from the first account and then import that into the new account.

Firefox crashes once daily, and I find it when I get home from work. Every day.

As the title says, Firefox crashes exactly once per day. I always find it when I come home from work, which can be anywhere from 8 to 10 PM. It is every single day, not just occasional. More specifically, the Firefox window is missing and all that remains is the generic "Visual C++ Runtime Library" crash box.
My system is a fairly new machine. I just built it earlier this year.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 black edition (quad core overclocked from 3.2 to 4.1 GHz)
Motherboard: Asus M4A785-M
RAM: 3 GB DDR2
Video: Zotac GeForce 9800 GT
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (dual boot with Debian Lenny, but the crash is just in Windows)
I know the first thing that stands out there is that overclock, but it's unrelated. I suspected it causing an issue at first, so I ran it at stock specs for 3 days. It still crashed Firefox daily. I believe the system itself is quite stable, I never have problems with other software. My FF version is up to date, although it's been doing this for the past 3 or 4 releases. The only add-ons I have installed are DownloadHelper and Flash Player, but it still crashes if I disable them.
This one's got me kind of stumped. Does anybody have any clue what could be triggering this? It doesn't matter what tabs I have open either, in case anybody was wondering. One day, just to test that I closed Firefox before I left in the morning, then opened it back up with only one tab: google.com ....... still crashed by the time I got back home.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem.
