Iphone6 photos to macbook using bluetooth?

How can i share my iphone6 photos to my Macbook using bluetooth without using the USB cable?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

You can't. iPhones aren't able to pair with macs for data transfer. You can share your photos by using iCloud PhotoStream iCloud: Set up My Photo Stream

  • How do I access and transfer files on my iMac to my MacBook using bluetooth?

Hi there, I would like to know how to access files on my iMac and transfer them to my Mac Book Pro using Bluetooth, if this is possible?

I agree with Ogelthorpe. Bluetooth is not an appropriate way to transfer files between two computers.
Additionally to the Firewire method, you can set up File Sharing (System Preferences - Sharing) on the computer you're transferring TO, then you'll see it in the MBP's Finder sidebar if you're on the same wireless or wired network. If you're transferring a lot of files, connect with network cables to your router unless your wireless network is very fast.

  • 'Failed to find Service' error w/ using Bluetooth to send pix FROM phone TO PC/VAIO?

Hi there everyone. This is an error I just started receiving tonight for the first time (that I can recall).
I have a bunch of photos on my 8900's memory (not on my memory card, but stored to my phone), and I'm trying to send them to my Sony VAIO via selecting the photo > Menu > Send Using Bluetooth. This has been working fine for me. I was on vacation in Cali a few days ago and had to transfer photos numerous times a day via Bluetooth from my 8900 to my VAIO, and everything was fine. Now that I'm home...I'm trying to transfer the photos I took with my BlackBerry to my VAIO the same way I always do, but I'm getting this error message: "Failed to find service". I have no clue what's going on!
This was probably a foolish move on my part but I removed my BlackBerry from my list of Bluetooth devices on my VAIO and also removed my VAIO from my list of Bluetooth devices on my BlackBerry. Frustration got the best of me and I figured a clean fresh start might fix the problem. It didn't make it worse, but I'm still encountering the same darn problem.
I've seen similar problems occur with other BlackBerry models, but older ones. Pearls, etc. Someone mentioned connecting my BlackBerry to my VAIO to update it w/ the BlackBerry update tool. I thought that was something that could be done over the air..? Or am I wrong? Problem is, I can't for the life of me seem to find that darn USB cord. (If anyone could tell me or direct me where to order a new one, that'd be great)!
ANY help or assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
Oh! And yes, I do have my Bluetooth enabled on both my BlackBerry and my VAIO.

    Hi!
    So...a couple of questions:
    1) On which device does the error message appear?
    2) Does the error only appear when sending from your BB?
    3) Can you successfully receive on your BB?
    4) Are you able to transfer files via the USB cord?
    Thanks.

  • Sending files from phone using bluetooth.

How can I send files from phone (Nokia E61) to MacBook using bluetooth?
There are the steps that I'm doing:
1-Open bluetooth on my phone and Mac.
    2-select files on my phone.
    3-select send via bluetooth.
4-select my Mac form bluetooth devices menu.
    5-click send.
    6-Connecting....
    7-Sending failed.
I believe there is something that I have to do on my Mac to accept these files.
BTW, I can browse my phone from Mac, but it's much easier to send files from phone to laptop.

  • Photo transfer using bluetooth

I want to transfer iphoto and itune library from my old ibook G4 to 2013 Macbook Air using bluetooth.  I was able to connect two laptops but unable to trasfer files.  Should I export photos and music or is there way to transfer them all together?  Please help.

Bluetooth on iPad was not designed to do this.  Perhaps you should read the user guide so you understand what your iPad can and can not do.  If you want to download pictures to your iPad, you do this via iTunes sync on your computer.  Or, you can email photo's to yourself, but this would be a slow and laborious way, unless you don't have many picutres to transfer.

  • Dowloading photos useing Bluetooth from Cell phone

I have a Samsung SCH a870, and would like to transfer pictures from onto a MacBook Pro using Bluetooth and iPhoto from a recent trip to Italy. The phone and Mac appeared to be paired and configured. Still iPhoto does not appear able to pick up the phone and transfer pics via Bluetooth.
    Device Name: SCH-A870
    Device Address: 00-17-e4-xx-xx-xx
    Device Type: Phone
**Device Services: Voice Gateway, AUDIO Gateway, Dial-up Networking**
    Paired: Yes
    Configured: Yes
    Favorite: Yes
    Connected: No
Device services list doesn't look promising. It's puzzling that the devices aren't listed as connected.

    John,
I don't think you can directly import from your phone into iPhoto. You will need to put the phone photos into a folder somewhere (such as your desktop) and import that folder into iPhoto.
However, that 'Not connected' item is not reassuring. You may have a problem similar to mine, with my LG phone. I can get photos FROM my Mac TO the phone, but not the other direction. They are obviously connected correctly, and I can 'send' images to the phone. When I try to 'get' the images from the phone, the connection is severed.
From what I could tell on LG sites and one of the BlueTooth ones here, certain LG phones just won't transfer their images.
The only way I have found to get photos from my cell phone is to email them to myself.

  • How do you send photos from iphone to macbook using blutooth

    Hi,
I have an iphone (who doesn't??). The phone is the iphone3 16GB. I am wanting to send photos from the iphone to my macbook using blutooth. I used to do this easily with my old nokia. surely this new phone can do it too??
    thanks in advance

Unfortunately the iPhone does not support Bluetooth File Transfer so it cannot be done.
The easiest way is to e-mail it to yourself. AT home on Wi-Fi this would be far faster than using Bluetooth that only has a 700Kbps speed

What are the different ways to back up your photos from iphoto using a MacBook Pro which does not have a disk drive?

Note - that no internet backup service has been proven to be safe and effective for backing up the iPhoto library - unless you personally have backup uyp an iPhoto library and restored it sucussfuly form one it should not be recommended - a large number of people have lost their photos trying it

Can I use Bluetooth earphones with my Macbook Pro?
If so, are there any problems and/or limitations in doing so? (i.e. no stereo sound, or anything else?).

Can you use Bluetooth earphones simultaneously with the Magic Mouse (which is also Bluetooth)?
And, just out of curiosity, why can't you use the Bluetooth earphones on an airplane?

  • Using bluetooth to connect iPad to cable-connected macbook...

Does anyone know if it's possible to use bluetooth to connect an ipad wirelessly to the internet from the cable broadband connection on a macbook pro? its for my son who can't seem to use a wifi router in his student res...cheers, dean

There's a couple of ways to do it.  Go to System Preferences>Sharing>Internet Sharing.  Check the box.  If the Mac is attached via WiFi, then the dropdown Menu has to say WiFi.  If it's Ethernet, then ethernet.  I know, obvious, but someone is going to ask.
Next check Bluetooth PAN.  Now this wireless has a very short distance and can be interfered with by walls, other devices, etc. On the iPad go to Settings>General>Bluetooth and connect to the Mac.
The better way is for the Mac to be connected to ethernet, and share the WiFi, but you have to do what you have to do.
I hope this helps.  The Bluetooth connection may require you to post a question on the iPad forum.

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

  • HT204387 I want to transfer from my Macbook Air using bluetooth.

I have been trying to transfer music from my Macbook Air using bluetooth to my Iphone 4s OS 6.01. Each time I try I get the message 'the device doesn't have the necesary services".  I also noticed that my old 3GS is not visible and my old Nokia 95 can't pair with my 4s.
    Any ideas?

You don't. iOS doesn't support file transfer over BT.

  • Use MacBook as Bluetooth keyboard/headset device ???

    Hi all,
Is there a software program or a way to use my MacBook via bluetooth as a keyboard/headset device.
For example connecting to a PS3 to use as a keyboard & mouse and headset. Also to connect my mobile to talk handsfree via laptop if possible.
I would like to use it as a handsfree kit at home rather then purchasing a bluetooth headset which I dont find comfortable.
The sofware would need to emit a blutooth signal from the MBP as a headset or/and keyboard device.
If there is nothing out there, any info on how to get started on creating such software would be really helpful.
    Thanks
    Jazz

Actually there is. I tried synergy and it's working perfectly. It's an open source software that allows me to use my built-in MacBook keyboard to operate my PC and also to move my mouse over from my MacBook to my PC monitor.
With all due respect, but next time rather say nothing instead of "there isn't a solution", because if I wasn't so stubborn I might have given up.
