Iphoto 09 gives "no items" from iphone 5c import

I am trying to import photos into my iphoto 09 from my iphone 5c for the first time and get a "no items" result.

Have you tried using Image Capture to download the photos to either a folder on the Desktop or directly into iPhoto?

  • How can I transfer items from iphone to tunes without syncing?

how can I transfer items from iphone to tunes without syncing?

I misread your post.  You can't transfer items to iTunes without connection to your computer.  To transfer without synching, make sure you don't have your preferences in iTunes set to automatically synch.  Then when you connect your phone but before you synch, in iTunes File>Transfer purchases.  Note that only iTunes purchased media can be transferred this way.

  • IPhoto can't delete photos from iPhone 6

    Hello Everybody.
I just wondered why my iPhoto can't delete the photos from my iPhone 6.
When i have imported the photos from the iPhone, i get the opportunity to delete photos from iPhone device, but when i press delete nothing happends on my iPhone, and all the photo's are still in the camera roll.
My mac and iPhone 6 is running the latest version of iOS and Yosemite.
    iOS 8.1.3.
    Please advice.
    Best regards.
    Thanks.

Try restarting your Mac and the phone
Or give Image Capture (in your applications folder) a try - it can delete photos from your phone too

  • Transform purchased items from iphone to itunes

    Dear Apple support,
While I tried to update my 5s to 7.0.4. itunes asked to back up my purchased items. I tried to download my purchased items as the instruction shown herehttp://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
However, I couldnt find any purchased items. I have paid a few apps but I have removed the apps couple weeks ago while I was still using iphone4. I noticed the purchased items became free next time I try to download them after removed from my phone. I am just wondering is there any other ways that I can download my purchased items to my itunes, since I cant locate them from my phone no matter I tab "all' or "not in this iphone"?
    Many thanks,
    Friedlittlefish

You can always re-download the item (an app?) when in iTunes without additional cost.  You can also connect the device to itunes, choose the device from the device list and then from the iTunes menu (the File menu??) you can select to sync new items from the device to itunes.

  • Missing iphoto pics after downloading photos from iphone

I downloaded photos from iphone to iphoto and now the only photos that appear in the iphoto library are the ones I just downloaded from the iphone, not any of the earlier ones. There is only one iphoto library to open.  I was able to get all of the earlier photos back by option clicking the library but now the ones from iphoto are missing, despite there only being one iphoto library to open.  How do I unite them?

This is likely the case.  The only time I see double libraries is when I "Show package contents".  Then there is a "library" (which has all the pics) and a library.photo and a library6.photo.  Both look exactly the same as the real photo library but neither can be opened.
I can retake the pictures - it's only 20 or so now and recent too - I just wish I knew what had happened so that it wouldn't happen again!
Thanks for all of the help!

I have a a iPhone 3G and I purchased a song on the phone and when I sync it with iTunes it gives me the error "Attempting to copy to the disk "Macintosh HD" failed. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation." How do I fix this?

  • How to clear downloading items from iphone

I bought a season of a TV show using my iphone.   My mistake as I didn't want them downloading to my phone.   So I paused the downloads.   How do I clear it so it does not keep telling me I have 21 items to download?

Try swiping/dragging from right-to-left across them in the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app and see if you get a Delete button show on them

  • Missing items from iphone 3gs

I have an iphone 3Gs and have more items in my itunes account than on my phone even though they synced correctly - please can someone help me to work out how I can  find out what item in my itunes account is not showing up on my phone without having to go through all 2900 items ????

On iTunes, click on your iPhone 3GS under Devices (left sidebar) and on each tab located at the top bar, make sure "Sync" is enabled - for Photos, Apps, Music, etc.. If you just sync directly from the Summary page, and the sync options for the rest of the tabs are not ticked, then they won't be transferred to your phone.

  • IPhoto won't upload pictures from iPhone

I'm having trouble uploading photos from my iPhone 4 to iPhoto on my MacBook. When I connect my phone to the computer, iPhoto doesn't automatically open like it use to. However, if I manually open iPhoto it recongnizes that my phone is connected. When I click on my device it shows that there are no pictures to import, when infact, there are. The last time I uploaded photos from my phone to my computer was at the end of December. I believe there has been at least one or two updates to the iPhone since. Could that have something to do with it? Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

I updated my phone to iOS 7.1.1 since writing my post, and that seemed to fix the problem. Thank you!

  • Iphoto won't upload pictures from iphone anymore

Hi there, whilst I was uploading my photos from my iphone to iphoto, my macbook battery died (eventhough it said 35 mins left-but that's a different story!) when i reconnected everything iphoto won't let me upload - it keeps saying 'iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.' No pictures are actually in iphoto from the upload when the battery died so I don't know why it keeps saying this. I tried using Image capture but this didn't work either...Can someone help please?
