IPhoto '11 does not load pictures from photostream

Hi guys,
i've got a problem on my MacBook Air 13" 2011 which I can't solve by myself.
I also did a lot google action but it won't let me figure out, why my photostream is not loading in iPhoto '11
I deleted the picture-libary, I deleted every data which contains 'iPhoto' in the Data-Name in the Libary Folder. I deinstalled iPhoto '11 multiple times from the Mac App-Store.
And yes it is up to date.
I also deactive and activate iPhotostream in iCloud.
Can anyone help me?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Does not load pictures from card

I recently upgraded to Lightroom 5.6 and ever since then, I insert card into the card reader, pics are recognized in the software and then the pics are not downloaded and have to reinsert the card. On one occasion, 2 pictures were downloaded. Also now the software cannot communicate to Adobe with updates. Error comes up that I am not connected. Even with the firewall off.
All of these worked previously.
Tried loading a previous version and the same errors ore now occurring. Multiple reinstalls without help
Any thoughts.

Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

Like what version of iPhoto - what happens, error messages, any strange that has happened, etc

Not loading pictures from camera

I am having problems with my iphoto uploading pictures from my camera.
When I plug my camera in my computer, it acts likes it is going to load the pictures, iphoto opens, but does not load the pictures.
I loaded some on 12/23/11 and now today 12/25/11, it will not load anything.
I have tried a different card, but nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

ImagebrowserEX does not load pictures

Recently I bought a new Canon Eos 6d. With it came Canon's Imagebrowser EX software.
It installs alright, but when I start it, it asks for default folders to load pictures from. I select a folder, press OK, then it starts searching for the pictures on my computer. Almost immediately a message pops up that reads "Imagebrowser EX doesn't work anymore". I run Windows 7, 64bit.
I tried:
uninstalling en reinstalling the software, both from the solutions disk and the Canon website
upgrading .net framework to 4.5
setting different folder as the default folder for Imagebrowser (even a folder with just ten pictures in it).
Contacting (Dutch) Canon support. This wasn't very helpful as the stated it was so clearly a pc /windows issue.
The Zoombrowser software that came with my 350d years ago, still worked for me. Unfortunately it does not support the 6d.
Any help would be appreciated.

I too recently (June 2014) purchased the Canon EOS 70D bundle from Costco. I made sure the USB is attached and the [Canon EOS 70D] icon is displayed in My Computer in Windows 7 Explorer. After clicking the ImageBrowserEx short cut the following transpired: 1. the [Initial Setup] sub-window with changing message [Starting 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% Completed] is displayed. 2. Thereafter, another sub-window is displayed with with two choices to select one of two options: [Add Pictures/My Pictures folder] or [Add a user set folder]. 3. I tried both options in different scenarios and get the same results after I click OK: 3.1. an icon is displayed in All Images (only for [Add Pictures/My Pictures folder] option) 3.2. Counting Images is displayed 3.3. "searching" is displayed at the message area of the ImageBrowser EX window for two seconds 3.4. then the error [ImageBrowserEx has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. [Close program] I read your Canon Requirements elsewhere in the forums and believe that my system meets your requirements, even after after CLOSING ALL WINDOWS APPLICATIONS before starting the ImageBrowser EX program. Flash does not load information from xml on DMM system

I have flash file load information from xml file. flash file and xml file i push on IIS server. In presentation i add URL of flash file but flash file not show information.
I try run URL direct from DMP is ok.
Flash file write for Flash litte 3.1 and use action script 2.0. DMS system test with DMM version is 5.3 and DMP 4310G.
Please point where the error and the notes on flash file use with DMM for my programmer.

I think I maybe faced with a similar issue.
I've been working on a flash build that pulls in xml feeds. Everything I have works great so far but I've only been able to test as standalone(Desktop) and in the browser.
When I tested standalone(Desktop) I did get the flash security popup but once I granted access it worked fine.
I've never used DMP 4310 before. At this point in time I dont have access to it either. All I know is that my swf will be put on it.
Can anyone tell me how the DMP 4310 will handle the flash security popup?

Iphoto 11 does not load

Having trouble getting iphoto to open. Have updated iphoto but still not responsive. Have 12,000 photos iMAC
Mac OS X 10.6 8, 4GB 1333MHz DDR3. any suggestions to get this work ????

IPhoto Library does not load

Hi there,
Recently updated to Lion on a fresh install of Mac OSX Snow Leopard. I backed-up everything using Time Machine as well as doing a secondary backup to an external drive.
Everything installed and worked fine, but unfortunately iPhoto no longer opens and is unnable to load my iPhoto Library as it states that the photo library has been opened with a newer version of iPhoto.
I've tried re-installing iLife, using a previous version of the Photo Library from Time Machine with no luck whatsoever.
Does anyone know any work arounds or how to get my iPhoto Library to work.

Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Google searchbar does not load page from search box dropdown list?

When i type a Google search using my search box from Google toolbar, the results show up in the drop down box, but when i click on desired search to see results and load Google page nothing happens and whatever i was typing in search bar remains in tact, usually in incomplete form. The Google search box on top next to the address bar to right works fine but i prefer to use the Google Toolbar search i have always used. The same thing is happening on my other computer that i upgraded to FF 4.0 so this must be a glitch or bug in new version??

Strange things still go on.
I disabled instant search results and now the google search window refreshes constantly.
I cannot even revert to enable instant search because the google settings refresh too quickly to do the change.
That is really weird and I do not know how to get FF back to working correctly now.

I have windows 7 and just updated the latest version of firefox. Since I did this, none of the pictures load in my email.

HT2638 My problem is that iPhoto"11 does not load the database

Several attemps to repair this [Including rebuild form backup] are coming to the same number: 5087, then the programs collaps. would like to hear suggestions to overcome this problem.

iPhoto '11.
no error messages, the only indication is that the recovery of the database stop at a certain number, 3 / 4 times the same number.
maybe the solution is to remove this picture?

ICloud Photo Library does not show photos from photostream on other devices.

When I choose to use the iCloud photo library (beta) on my iPhone, the only photos that I can see are recent photos I've taken with my phone. If I disable this and only use the photostream, then all my photos are shown on my phone, including photos I took with my camera and uploaded to my Mac. What's the deal? I like being able to access my older photos or photos taken with other devices on my phone without using storage space. Am I able to do this with the iCloud photo library? Is it bc it's still in beta that I can't?

Yeah - I'm sticking with Photostream, and iPhoto right now. Once the new photo app is available across the board, and there is more literature on it, I will look into using the cloud, but I'm happy to keep it on my Mac. With the automatic import of Photostream photos, it really doesn't require a lot of work to keep photos on the Mac, and with a regular backup to TimeMachine, I'm comfortable that it is all backed up and safe....

Imovie 09 (8.0.6) does not load iphoto picture library anymore

I had a double change,
1st: imovie update to 8.0.6 2nd: a new external hard disc for iphoto and imovie (the previous disc died).
since then imovie shows the video's from iphoto in the event library, but does not load the pictures from iphoto in the picture library. it keeps stating loading iphoto pictures, but they never appear

Hi - I have a very similar problem I think.
Just bought a new iMac and have latest versions of iMovie, iTunes and iPhoto - yes I have checked.
Trying iMovie for the first time - cannot see anything listed where they are supposed to be in the media browser window.
Looking at the intro to iMovie etc it clearly shows the folder structures - I get nothing showing at all.
Reading through the posts here it seems that there is a bug to be fixed.
Had a problem yesterday with my iPhone not showing in iTunes - an update cleared this problem.
