IPhoto 6.05 crashes during diashow

Question

Hi
I am using iPhoto a lot.
The library contains about 6500 photos.
I make books and diashows with iPhoto.
Now, I think after installing Quicktime 7.1.3, iPhoto crases every time during the diashow after about 1o photos. (EVERY time!!)
Is there a way to go back in Quicktime?
Does anybody have experiences like this?

Rolf:
The original Applescript file would not batch embed on folders by just dropping the folder on the file. So I created a new Automator workflow application that will embed the sRGB profile in any image file dropped onto it. What you need to do is open each subfolder in the Originals folder, select all of the files inside and drag and drop then onto the workflow application. You'll need to do it for each subfolder that contains problem photos. sorry about the confusion.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
