IPhoto 8.0.3 can't setup link to Flickr Pro account

I just installed iPhoto '09 and am attempting to use the built-in flickr integration. When I click on the Flickr button, I get a popup that says:
Do you want to set up iPhoto to publish to Flickr?
I click, Setup, Safari opens and I login with my password (it ALWAYS asks me for my Password) to my Flickr account. I end up on my Flickr home page and NOTHING else happens. There is no acceptance page to confirm the link and iPhoto continues to display the setup popup window.
I've tried software update, reboot.
Has anyone else seen this? Solved it?

I am having the exact problem, and have been having it since I first installed iPhoto '09 soon after it shipped. I have installed all updates of iPhoto (now up to 8.0.4) and same thing happens. I have seen others who have posted this issue, and haven't been able to find a solution anywhere.
Any ideas anyone?

If I have two email accounts, one personal hotmail account and one MS Exchange work account on my iPhone 4s, How can I setup individual notifications for each account? Fore example, if I get a work email, I want to hear a DING, DING....If I get a personal email, I want to hear a BEEP, BEEP. Right now, any email from any account has the same notification. I want work incoming email notification to be different than personal incoming notification. The only semi-workaround I've seen is just disable any notification for the Hotmail account, so only work emails would notify. But then I don't know when I get a personal email. Even the lowely Blackberry Torch 9800 has this feature..not iPhone 4s??
    Thanks

Sorry you get only one notification sound for all email accounts.  you can send a suggestion to apple here http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • I Can't Setup My Hotmail\Outlook POP3 Account Successfully

I Can't Setup My Hotmail\Outlook POP3 Account Successfully so PLEASE Tell Me How Do I Setup My Hotmail\Outlook POP3 Account Successfully ?

For POP access, you have to enable it in your Hotmail account settings (accessed via the Hotmail website), but for IMAP access, the recommended setup, see this article:
    http://www.ghacks.net/2013/09/14/access-outlook-com-email-accounts-using-imap/
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Hotmail
TB may default to IMAP when you launch the account setup wizard (File/New/Existing Mail Account), so if you wish to have POP access, click on the Manual config. button after you enter your account credentials, and select POP.

  • How can I re-link firefox to sync account if I haven't paired another device yet?

I synced the pc to the firefox server but before I pair another device I had to reinstall firefox with a clean installation. How can I connect to the account that I've created for the synchronization without having any other device to give me codes?
    Thanks

That "key" is in Firefox on devices linked with that Sync account. Since you only had one device setup, and have completely removed Firefox from that device your Sync key is gone. Without that key your data is useless, it is the encryption algorithm for your data while that data is off your devices.

  • Can I setup more than one @me account to use push on my iPhone

I have 3 @me accounts setup on my iPhone.  It appeares that only 1 can be set to Push, the other 2 can only be set to Fetch.  Is this correct?   I have the same problem on my iPad.  Both are using iOS4 and are uptodate with all software.

It appeares that only 1 can be set to Push, the other 2 can only be set to Fetch.  Is this correct?
    Yes. From: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1669
"If you have multiple MobileMe accounts set up on your device, Push will only work for one account.  If you want to switch which account uses Push, you will need to turn on contact, calendars, or bookmark syncing for that account, then enable Push."

  • Can't setup an exist google app account in Thunderbird

I use macbook, with os 10.9.5.
My email account is provide by google app,
I can login on web Gmail, and Mac's mail box.
But I just can't login with same account and password when I setup Thunderbird.
(BTW, my another gmail account can setup successfully on Thunderbird.)

    Hi Ratboy,
Did you go into keychain access manager and just delete that particular keychain entry all together? Might as well at this point to make sure there isn't some odd saved information that's getting called upon and failing the authentication.
In mail, is the account configured as IMAP or POP? If it's IMAP, I'd go ahead and delete the account and recreate it. If it's POP, I'd go into ~/Library/Mail (copy the folder's content to your Desktop) then delete the account and recreate it.

  • Can we setup two sets different 7912 logos in one CCM cluster?

    Hi,
CCM 4.1(3) cluster within head office. We created the 7912 logo for system default image. However, the remote site 7912 phones, need to use a different logo other than the head office.
    as per http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Unified%20Communications%20and%20Video&topic=IP%20Telephony&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.1ddc5d3d/0#selected_message
We can create the 7912 logo, but how can we setup two or more different 7912 logos for different sites?
We noticed on CCM4.1(3), there is idle URL for 7912 phone, what is the callmanager default link for this URL? I am thinking to use different logo file names, and put the related URL on this parameters for remote site 7912 phones.
Could someone let me know or any other better way to do?
    Thanks,
    JJ

    Hi JJ,
    This should work just the way you have described. Have a look;
    Idle
Enter the URL that displays on the Cisco IP Phone display when the phone has not been used for the time that is specified in Idle Timer field. For example, you can display a logo on the LCD when the phone has not been used for 5 minutes.
Leave this field blank to accept the default setting.
    Idle Timer (seconds)
Enter the time (in seconds) that you want to elapse before the URL that is specified in the Idle field displays.
Leave this field blank to accept the value of the Idle URL Timer enterprise parameter.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00801ecfc7.html#1121361
    Here how on CCM;
    Method 1:
Choose System > Enterprise Parameters so that the change is propagated to all of the phones from the Cisco CallManager Administration page.
In the URL Idle field, enter http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the URL Idle Time field, enter any positive value in seconds.
    Method 2:
Choose Device > Phone under the Cisco IP Phone configuration so that only this phone displays the graphics from the Cisco CallManager Administrator page.
Choose the phone/phones on which you want to put the display.
In the Idle field, enter the path http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the Idle Timer field, enter any positive value in seconds.
    From this good doc;
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00801c0764.shtml#topic4
    Hope this helps!

  • Can you setup LACP across a stack with SG500

    Hi guys,
I am looking at buying 2x SG500-48 switches with the stacking cables and connecting them into a ring stack topology.
my reason for wanting this is so we can setup LACP connections from our hyper-v servers to the 2 stacked switches so the we have a redundant connection to the network if one of the switches is to fail. can you setup LACP links on the stacked SG-500 switches to be in the same group/link?

    Hello Damon,
The following link shows the step-by-step instructions to configure LACP ling aggregation on Sx500 switches.

I've bought my 1st Mac, since than I've replaced my old disk to a new one - and at the lab they created my new admin's name as admin.. I've changed it after 'root'ing - and now I can't find my photos either at iPhoto/photo booth, what can I do to restore restore them, they are very importent to me !!!
    Please I'll be thankfull.

I stated that I did try to do all of this when I first set up the new computer...I did do the Setup Assistant numerous times but my old computer kept freezing half way through.  Even if I did it when I first got the new computer back in Septemeber, I would have had the same issue b/c my old computer has been 'broken' for a while.  My old computer can't handle doing too much at once and I think the setup and then migration functions I tried were too much.  That's why I was hoping I could use the migration function piecemeal.  I wish I could just check off the exact files and folders I want vs. having to choose it at the 'user' level...that's too much for my old computer to have to transfer.

  • InDesign Packaging "Can't copy links"

What would be possible causes of the "Can't copy links" error when trying to package in InDesign 7.0.4 on Windows 7. The links are located on various network drives. This setup has worked for many years but we recently moved our entire file structure from an aging Windows server to a new Network Attached Storage device. It's obvious that is the cause of the trouble but I've exhausted my knowledge.
    What I've done so far:
Double and triple checked the permissions on the NAS (I have all read/write permissions)
    Packaging old and new documents
Copying all links to a new location using that function in the Links panel (same error occurs)
My only solution so far has been to embed all the links, package the file, then unembed them into the links folder in the packaged folder. Not a great solution considering how it takes about 30 minutes to copy the necessary ~1GB of links twice.'
    Thoughts?

    Peter Spier wrote:
I realize that's not a very helpful response.
lol! All I did was make sure that each machine mapped the same drive letter to the same folder on the new server. It worked like a charm :-)
    Peter Spier wrote:
Can you select a link and "edit original"?
yes, no problems whatsoever with the links. I can even "reveal in explorer" with no problem. My guess is that for some reason, the file server is rejecting the connection when I package but I'm not sure why.

  • What can I do? Every "iPhoto Library Upgrader" I've downloaded fails to prepare the my iPhoto Library, so I can't open iPhoto any more.

What can I do? Every time I download & run "iPhoto Library Upgrader" it fails to "prepare" the my iPhoto Library, so I can't open iPhoto any more.
(My MacOS & iPhoto are the latest versions.)
Ever since my last upgrades, every time I try to open iPhoto, a Alert box pops up saying, "To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared. To prepare the library, use the iPhoto Library Upgrader", and it gives 2 options: a "Learn More" button or "Quit" (iPhoto) button. The "Learn More" button links to Apple's "iPhoto '11: About the Library Upgrader" page (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5037), but whenever I then download and run that page's linked app, the same thing happens all over again.
It does no good to rebuild the iPhoto Library (holding down the command & option keys while reopening iPhoto): the same thing happens.
It does no good to use iPhoto Library Manager (http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/) to rebuild the iPhoto Library, as was suggested elsewhere: the same thing happens.

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    Regards
    TD
