IPhoto 9.1.5 slideshow is not working on lion

Hi,
my iPhoto 9.1.5 is not working on lion. I have upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion. If i click on slideshow then it seems to be started with full screen but it return back without slideshow.
Waiting for any clew.

IPhoto '11 (9.5) Slideshow music not working

Having made hundreds of slideshows with iPhoto before version '11 (9.5), I now find that either way I attempt to add music to a slideshow I get silence. I double checked the Music menu that appears when the show plays, to be sure that the "Play music during slideshow" box is checked. My music selections for a 'Custom Playlist' do appear in the menu box. Any ideas?

In iTunes go File -> Library -> Organise Library -> Reorganise Library.
Then quit and restart iPhoto.
Credit to user keysandfood who figured that one out.

Just upgraded to iPhoto 11. slideshow does not work. just is black.

I just upgraded to iPhoto 11. I am on a MacPro desktop.
Slideshow does not work for either the existing slideshows or to create new one.
Just a black screen. When you click on the slideshow button it fades for a microsecond like it is going to go to slideshow...but then just a black box where teh photo should be.

Can you view the photos normally at full size?

Just updated to Iphoto 9.1.3 but the slideshow feature not working at all. Screen goes white but any features selected, nothing is produced .The themes preview windows are blank too. is there something missing?

Sounds like it.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.

Fox news slideshows are not working in Vista Home 64 bit.

I've just updated iPhoto recently and now it's not work?? How to un upgrade?

After installation of OS X Maverick my iPhoto(9.2.3.) is not working anymore! Is the only possibility buying the new version??

after I installed the new OS X Maverick on my Mac Book Air the iPhoto programm (9.2.3) is not working anymore.
Is there an other possibility than buying the new version of it to get it running again?

I have 5 pages leading off "GALLERY" menu option, which all contain flash slideshows created in Lightroom. They have all been working fine, but today I slightly changed the content of the slideshows, and now they are not working - they just show the "GET ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" icon. The home page (index.html) is working fine - I have not changed the code there at all.
I have tried to compare the code in the changed gallery pages with the home page, but cannot see what I have done to stop all the galleries from working properly. GALLERY pages are previewing fine locally off the hard drive. It's only on the live page that I am getting the problem
Any suggestions?

Try removing the following line of code (marked in red), from the problem pages -

It may be that your pages are cached in your browser, (viewing locally, in browser), or that the Google analytics code is being ignored by dreamweaver, (if working in dreamweaver), as this requires a live page /server.

1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together)
2. For about 10 seconds
3. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)
4. Ignore the red slider

Hi, have PSASE 3 and more than 3000 Pictures in it. Since a time my Full Screen Slideshow is not working. First picture comes up in Full Screen and by switch on play button - nothing happens.
Whats wrong?

Have you received/uncovered a solution yet to the slideshow problem? I am experiencing same problem but have not found solution yet. I can however, open up slideshows received from others without a problem.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 is not working with Lion.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 is not working with Lion. It is totally non responsive to a point where i cannot work. all other CS5 programs seem to be running well so far. any advice? if no, then how do i revert back to Snow leopard?

I had real problems with all Adobe apps - it said I needed to install a version of Jave Runtime, but kept saying that I wasn't connected to the internet to complete the action. This was not the case - I was connected to the internet.
I followed this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421 to install a version of Java and all Adobe apps fire up now. Haven't done much testing within the apps, but at least I'm further ahead than I was.
So thanks to the message boards for helping me out.

Ukelele generated custom keyboard layouts not working in Lion?

I asked this question in the stackexchange site a few days ago. Nothing I've tried has worked so far, except for creating a new account. Because a fresh account works, it's got to be something with my preferences, right?

Here's the question from above:
I created a custom keyboard layout with Ukelele (http://scripts.sil.org/ukelele) in Snow Leopard (idea is to generate scandinavian letters with Alt-key, otherwise have a pretty much standard U.S. layout). After the upgrade, the old installed (to ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts) layout wasn't working.
Ukelele seems to work OK in Lion, but whether I put the generated keylayout in a bundle or single file, or save it "/Library/Keyboard Layouts" or "~/Library/Keyboard Layouts" doesn't seem to matter.
Help?

Logged out, logged in, isn't showing in Input sources (I'm looking very closely between "Maori" and "Myanmar - QWERTY").
I've also uninstalled bunch of software and plugins giving suspicious messages to system.log, but hasn't helped.
UPDATE 2011/08/16:
I created a test account, and lo, the layout works perfectly for it. Also the bug in preferences doesn't show for that account. When trying this on my own account, there are no errors in Console logs with the suggested keywords (I can't seem to locate console.log file, though).

Nuking Library/Caches (and relogging) didn't help.

I did
% find Library -name "*.plist" -exec mv {} {}.renamed \;
and restarted, but it didn't help. I restored the situation with
% for file in `find Library -name "*.plist.renamed"`; \ do mv "$file" "${file//.renamed/}"; done
addendum: I also went through all the .plist files with plutil -s as described inhttp://www.askdavetaylor.com/can_i_check_my_plist_files_in_mac_os_x_for_problems .html. There was some brokennes, but in very unrelated applications.
