IPhoto 9.2 wont load from App Store

Hi folks,
after updating to 10.7.2 and all iOS davoces to iOS 5 i saw in the App Store a new version of iPhoto!
My actual iPhoto-version is from a iLife 11-DVD.
App Store says to change my account to another account (with which i should have bought iPhoto), but i dont have another account!!!
What can i do to update iPhoto???

Updating iPhoto:
How old is your Mac? If it's very recent you need to update via the App Store
If you purchased iPhoto 11 at the App Store you need to update via the App Store
Otherwise you update via Softare Update
If you have moved iPhoto from the default location (i.e. into a Folder) then the updater won't find it. Move it back.
If you have renamed iPhoto, the updater won't find it. Change it back.

The startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utillities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If Disk Utility reports errors, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys.
From there you should be able to access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk and restore OS X.

I can't down load from App Store.i can't remember if it's been since I updated my iPad was up

Wen I go in2 my setting then try 2 go in2 app and settings on my iPad it freezes up and doesn't go in2 it.can this be why I can't download from App Store ? How can I get app settings 2 open? Help please

Close apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping upward on the app window (not the smaller icon) off the screen. Then reset the device: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie- Error message from App Store

Hi there-
I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie. I have the latest OS. I cannot use these Apps either- they both ask me to update to the newest version, but when I try to I get an error message saying that the App store could not complete my request and to please try again later (null). Any ideas??

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select
/var/log ▹ appstore.log
from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again.
Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.

App wont download from App store

Hi, I am currently based in South Africa, but I download most of my free apps from the US apple store. When i decided to buy an app ($5.99) from my Ipad mini, it asked me to fill in my billing details, and so i did using my father banking details. it accepted it and my father received an sms saying the the ammount had been taken from his account, yet the app did not download. So i went to download it again, as the first time, it asks to fill in the banking details again as if i had not done it.
why wont the app download? must I use the South african App store? and if so will i have to spend the ammount again to recieve the app? So the amount that has been deducted from the account the first time was for nothing and a waste of money?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

The system requires that you use the store for the country in which you reside. Living in South Africa you should not have been using the US store.
When you buy apps you need to buy them from the store for the country in which you reside. You need to provide a payment method from the country where you reside. If you intend to use a bank card it must be from a bank in the country where you reside with a verifiable billing address in the country where you reside.
Since you admit that you have been flouting these requirements, it has now caught up with you. You will need to stop flouting the system and follow the rules for using the iTunes stores to continue further with purchases.

Iphoto 11 won't install from apps store

I purchased iPhoto 11 from the app store (on my Macbook running Lion). It won't install - when I click the install button it just "runs" for a couple seconds without any further prompting or anything. Is there something I'm missing here?

IPhoto Update impossible to download from App Store

In Sep 2011 I purchased a new iMa , which included a pre-installed version of iLife (and iPhoto).
SInce the recent update, coinciding with the launch of the iCloud, although my iMac offers me the updaye through the App store, trhe store refuses as it claims that "You have updates available for other accounts. To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."
I am baffled. I have tried signing out of the App Store, signing in and all manner of things. It always comes back to this message.
Has anyone a solution?

After another 2 1/2 hours this afternoon with two very professional members of staff on the Apple phone lines, a Senior Support Manager eventually threw in the towel and indicated that he would be sending me free-of-charge(!), a DVD version of iLife.
This would enable me to load iPhoto and any future updates would be updated via Apple Central, rather than the App Store.
Can't fault them for their efforts and their eventual solution. Pity it took so interminably long on both Saturday and this afternoon.

Ultra Ram Disk does not load from App Store.

It is impossible to purchase Ultra Ram Disk from the App Store. A pop-up window appears saying, "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." Could someone in authority fix this please. Thanks.

Installing the appropriate combo update may help this issue.
For Snow Leopard > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
For Lion > OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed then try the App Store.

Can't Down load from app store

Hi. On my mac book air I can't download or buy anything form the application store but from my mac book pro I have no issue so it doesn't seem to be my account. After I log to account on my macbook air goes to a screen to enter password again on billing info and then stops responding. any ideas? thx

Hi, I am having a similar problem: I can surf the App Store, but when I try to download anything the download starts, hangs for a while, then it stops with the following message (I am translating from Italian, the actual English message may be slightly different):
Application download not possible
Installation launch not possible
Any hint? Please note that I can download upgrades form the Preferences panel with no problem.

Apps wont download from App Store when using iOS5

(updated last week) ... Apps waiting in queue to update but a pop up comes up with;;
"unable to download application - (((name))) could not be downloaded at this time" [Done] [Retry]
Restarted device twice and no go ! The old versions of iphone4 app store worked just fine and since ive downloaded iOS5 ,,,, Issues but i've got through most of them but this is a pain in my a$$. I need to update apps on the go as the itunes that it is regristered too is at home & I travel alot.

Downloading via the cellular network or Wi-Fi?
If the app updates are over 20mb, they will not download over cellular.
Has any attempt been made to download the updates via the computer and sync them to the device?

Apple's final answer was like this.
They know this problem and also know considerable people have experienced it. However only they can say is to use the outer network. In case we can't bring the machine to outside, we can download Lion OS in the other machine and copy the installer into the target machine.
They refunded my bill because my machine at home is too old to download the OS. They told me I can buy the USB type of the OS. Today I checked the price of it and found it costs more than double of downloadable version!
I remember the disk version of previous OSs were cheaper and that was almost same as the price of Lion OS downloadable version. Why should I buy such expensive USB version?
I swear here that I never buy Lion OS until Apple will fix this problem!

How do I stop the Atomic Browser on my iPod Touch from allowing websites to automatically load my App Store app?

I have the Bejeweled Blitz app (for Facebooik) on my iPod Touch 4th gen. If I want to find gems (special items used in Bejeweled) I have to use a browser (I'm using Atomic Browser) on my iPod so I can grab gems from Facebook's news feed. What's SUPPOSE to happen is this:
I set Atomic on my iPod to identify itself as Safari mobile (because the Bejeweled Blitz app on the iPod only recognizes Safari).
I load my Bejeweled app on my ipod.
I log into Facebook with Atomic and scan the news feed for gems and click on a gem.Atomic opens a new tab and tries to load the link.My iPod then switches from Atomic to my Bejeweled Blitz app and the gem appears in my game.
When I'm done with the game, I double click Home and swtich back to Atomic.
I close the new tab and search the news feed for the next gem.
HOWEVER, the problem is this: About two-thirds of the time, when Atomic opens a new tab to load the link, instead of my iPod swtching to Bejeweled Blitz, it opens my App Store app and takes me to the Bejeweled Blitz app download page. Sometimes the problem occurs when I'm done with my game: i.e., when I go back to the browser, the iPod swtiches from Atomic and loads the App Store app before I even have a chance to close the tab. It's a big pain in the neck because it takes a long time for the App Store app to load and when I go back to my Bejeweled Bltz app, it acts like it got dumped from memory and has to restart.
So... How do I make it so that my App Store app ONLY loads when I personally select the app myself?
