IPhoto a 'more recent version' of Aperture?
Hi,
Sometimes I use Aperture if I want to edit and process my photographs. This means I use Aperture to access my iPhoto library. But sometimes Aperture says photos have been edited in a more recent version of Aperture. I'm using the most recent version of Aperture. If I go to the App app - it indicates that version is already installed.
So the message must be referring to iPhoto as a more recent version of Aperture. I'm at a stop in terms of how to deal with this message in terms of exactly what may happen to my photos going back and forth between iPhoto and Aperture.

If the message appeared when you were using Aperature it's probably Aperturte related. You should ask in the Aperture forum. In iPhoto one would try repairing the library's database. Don't know how you'd do that in Aperture.
If iPhoto is working with that library OK then ask how to rebuild with Aperture.

I have a SharePoint site which I am trying to open in SPD 2010, I am getting the following error(some of my team members are able to open)
The version of SharePoint foundation running on the server is more recent than the version of SPD you are using, you need a more recent version of SPD.
These are the ways I tried
1) Earlier I have MS office 32 bit and SPD 32 bit, I uninstalled them and installed both 64 bit versions
2) I uninstalled restarted my machine and installed it again still no use.
3) I installed SPD 2010 Service Pack 2 of 64 bit
4) I uninstalled the SPD 2010 and opened the site—site actions—edit page in SPD , then it asked me to install SPD 2010, then I installed and tried to open the same site, again same error.
How to solve this issue?
I checked permissions also at that site level – I have full control like others. I don’t have access to Central Admin so where else I can check the permission settings?Please update us SharePoint version

I believe that I have a corrupted version of Firefox. I have followed the procedures both for removal and for upgrade that are posted in the support forums, and neither are effective for me.
I do not have a conventional Firefox icon on my screen, rather I have a grey question mark. When I attempt to deposit that question mark icon in my wastebasket, it just bounces back out.
When I have tried to upgrade to a more recent version of Firefox (and I've been trying to upgrade with each new iteration of Firefox from version 12 to the current version 32), I receive an error message that I can run only one version of Firefox, and the upgraded version is rejected in favor of version 11.
Additionally, Firefox version 11 blocks me from adding any other programs onto my Mac. I want to get rid of version 11. How can I do it?Dear ideato--Thank you for your suggestion. While I was able to drag a shadow of the Firefox icon from the applications folder to the dock and drop it into the wastebasket, the icon remains in the applications folder and Firefox version 11 is still on my computer blocking every attempt to add a program or to upgrade to the current version of Firefox. Do you remember which version of photoshop that was, such as photoshop 2.0 or 2.01 or possibly 2.5?
I guess you don't have that system still in operation?
I believe mac versions of photoshop can open the photoshop 2.0 file format and mac versions of elements before photoshop elements 11 as well.

I have a new Mac and I migrated mi old one to this. I can not open iTunes because a message stating "iTunes Library.itl" can not be opened because it was created in more recent version of iTunes. There is not a new version to download. How can I fix this?
Go to iTunes > about iTunes. What version are you running? If necessary, hold down the option key while starting iTunes and create a new, test library so it will start.

More recent version of the Flash Player error
Mac user. Every time I run I get the following error:

I click Yes and it works fine, but it is a PITA to do this

Not able to import photos from Iphoto with the trial version of Aperture
I just downloaded the trial version of Aperture 3 and was trying to import my Iphoto library to work with some of the photos in Aperture. When I go to File, Import, Iphoto library, the IPhoto Library is not able to be selected.
I can go into finder and see that I have an Iphoto Library and it opens with no problem, but for some reason I cannot import or open the library in Aperture, which makes me very hesitant to purchase the full version of the product.
Any help is appreciated.Sounds to me like you are not in the Import dialog box.
What happens if you select File->Import ... ?

Is image editing easier on more recent versions?
I run a small website and am trying to decide if I should purchase this software for editing, or if I can get by with an older copy as easy, or something else free online? Is there any advantage of this over a 3-4 year old copy? Will images look better? Has anyone used this to edit a bigcommerce store?
I am mainly interested in being able to remove backgrounds from images. Will a newer copy do this better than an older? Less work?

I have an old version of Firefox - Version 3.5.7.
I am trying to update to the current version. As part of the update, the system is first loading all of the intermediate versions.
I started the update 4 hours ago. It is still running. Most of the time, it has been downloading version 3.6.18. I am letting it run.
Is there any other way to get the most recent version?Thank you. That is basically what I did. I gave up on the update and downloaded a fresh version of Firefox.

There is no more detail to be had. Mozilla e-mailed me to tell me that a newer version of Firefox can be downloaded. I did this and followed instructions. Michael Scruton
Thanks for the reply so quickly! Is the tenfourfox going to be be just as safe and as high of quality as the Firefox 4? Also since Mozilla's website says, "Firefox 3.6.x will be maintained with security and stability updates for a short amount of time. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 4" does that mean if I go back to 3.6 there will be security and stability issues after a "short amount of time"?

I have windows 7 professional. My son is taking an online class (digital photography) which uses Blackboard 8 Academic Suite. Last week photos stopped uploading successfully. Blackboard's solution is to use Firefox 2.0.0.20. I had to uninstall Firfoz 3.6.9, and install the earlier version from a link provided by Blackboard. It worked, however Firefox popped up a message saying that this version is no longer supported and that I should update to 3.6
Depending upon which version of WebCT your school is using, you will have to use Firefox 3.5.x, Firefox 3.0.x, or Firefox 2.0.0.20 when accessing the Blackboard site.
My advice is to install the Firefox Portable version that you need for Blackboard on your computer, and use that installation only for Blackboard. Continue to use 3.6 for all other web browsing.
