Iphoto difficulty buying a book

I am having the same issue on iphoto 09 8.1.2 (424) everytime I attemp to "buy book" it tells me to recheck my account.And then it returns me to the original screne and if I click "buy book" the same thing happens. I have updated it and retried. I am in a loop from ****. I hope they aren't charging me for each time it up loads. I need some advise. thank you to the cyber helpers out there.

To to the Apple store and your account page. Re-enter, not just check, all of the information and make sure One Touch Shoppiing is enabled. Then try ordering again.

I like iPhoto, but I'm not going to use it if I don't know that my privacy is satisfactorily safeguarded.

IPhoto and Buying a Photo Book

When I try to buy a photo book that I have created my Apple Id information (billing address and shipping address) are wrong. The country defaults to Finland and I live in Greece (Greece is not even a country in the Pick list ?!?!?!?!?!?!) Via Apple's website I have made sure that my Apple Id's address info is correct, but how can I use iPhoto to buy the book I have created and have it shipped to me?

You can't. Apple's Photo Services are not currently available in Greece, I'm afraid.

That same one others seem to have gotten: "Unable to Assemble Book -- There is a problem with the photo with the filename “(null).” The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace this photo or delete it from your book"
I've tried restarting iPhoto with the option and command keys pressed, and asking it to repair permissions, but still have the same message...

The most common reason for this error is, that you have used a page layout that needs a background photo and you have not yet added the backdrop. Then the book is still showing some default grayscale image.
Check, if one of your page layouts is using this background:
Then you need to add a photo to the background of the page.

Cant 'Buy a Book' in iphoto

For some reason iPhoto wont allow me to buy a book,
I can create the book how i want it t look, i can click the buy book button, i then get a sheet in an envelope graphic which i can put in my postcode and click , nothing happens, when i click checkout, nothing happens either, the app doesnt crash, if i click cancel it goes back to the photo book,
I have checked my print location is set to UK, i checked my account details were all correct including delivery address etc.
iphoto version - 9.5.1
OSX- 10.9.4

Perhaps it will give the problem a higher priority, if plenty of feedback arrives with a problem report.
But taking the pdf to a different print service, that can make high quality prints would be an option. Only, you will probably not get a similar quality binding and covers.

Using iPhoto 11 under Mavericks and want to buy to buy a Book, I receive error message saying 'Cannot access Apple Store, try later', but I have not problem accessing store via iTunes or directly. Any advice?

Here's a fix that worked for some users:
Make sure this checkbox is checked in the System/Sharing preference pane:
If it is, uncheck it and then recheck and try ordering again.

Are you buying from the correct Print Products Store? If you are using the wrong store, your AppleID may not be valid.
Is the Print Products Store set correctly in iPhoto Preferences > Advanced? It should be set to the same country as your billing address and delivery address, and match the settings of the Apple ID you are using.
And you are using iPhoto '09 or '11, right? you can no longer buy books from earlier versions.
When you reenter your settings as LarryHN described, don't forget to enable Express Checkout. It is required.

If it was something like "An unknown error occurred, please try again later", that can mean many things:
Your book may contain photos with unprintable image files.
iPhoto may not be able to connect to the store because of network problems or firewalls, anti virus software.
Your AppleID may not be valid at the Print store you selected.
Unprintable image files: Have you checked, if the book is o.k.? That is, if it does not contain any file that cannot be rendered?

Could you preview the book or print it to pdf? Sometimes the upload may be hanging, if one of your image files cannot be processed properly. Removing that image from the book and replacing it by another one usually helps. This can happen if the original master image file is corrupted or the filename of the image is too long or contains ctrl-characters.
Network: Temporarily turn off any firewalls, Antivirus software. Try to boot into safe Mode and to upload the book again:

AppleID and Print Store:
Set the "Print Products Store" in the iPhoto Preferences panel > Advanced to the country of your billing address in your AppleID settings. The credit card used with your AppleID needs to be valid in that county. You may need to check your Password and Security question on "MyAppleID":

Your password and answers to security questions need to be obey apple's new rules for safety.

How to "buy this book"?

I've finished my book, managed to preview it and save as pdf (thanks to the support forum for tips) but when I press "buy this book", I get the warning "Your book seems to have frames on one or more pages that do not contain photos. You must either change the layout of those pages or place photos in those frames before you can proceed with this book".
I have treble checked and there are no empty frames anywhere...
any suggestions?

a couple of things to try - renew your iPhoto preference file - A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. This may help
This does not affect your photos or any database information (keywords, faces, places, ratings, etc) in any way - they are stored in the iPhoto library - the iPhoto preference file simply controls how iPhoto works - which is why renewing it is a good first step.
and go to the Apple store and re-enter all of your account information in your account there

Error message buying Photo Book

I have prepared a photo book using iPhoto v9.6 and when I click to buy the book I receive this message "An error occurred while contacting the Apple Online Store. Please try again". I kept trying but no joy.
I have tried rebooting the computer and the router but to no avail. Any suggestions? Is this connected to Apples recent accessing issues?

Click the link to your account (to the left of the shooting Cart). Enter all information again, not just check it - there may be invisible character. Make sure, that Express Checkout is enabled.

Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
chack in the iPhoto advanced preferences and be sure the print product country is set correctly
if those do not show a solution boot into safe mode and preview again (fonts might change) and try to upkoad in safe mode
