Iphoto file error keeps appearing

An error message ( see screen grab) keeps appearing whenever I start iPhoto even though I may not be importing photos or have a SD card connected. What is causing this and how can I rectify.

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Auto Import' and remove the contents
Restart iPhoto and try again..
Make no other changes.

When opening the version of Iphoto i have an error message appears that says; You can't open your current iphoto library using this version of Iphoto. If I can't open the current library using the latest version of iphoto, and I am asked to make changes the the newest version!!! I'm asked to run in circles chasing my tail...I had a new hard drive installed about 6 weeks ago. I am running MAC OS 10.5.8

What version of iPhoto do you have? If you're on 10.5 then you're not running the latest iPhoto
Any chance that the library was opened with another version?
Simplest solution will be to just restore from your back up.

Unfortunately I'm on 11.1.0.6.0.
Note 310177.1 lists 4 bugs that have been fixed prior to 11.1.0.6.0
Note 4739114.8 list is a bug fixed in 11.1.0.6.0
And the ORA-600/ORA-7445 Troubleshooter on Metalink unfortunately does not bring up anything other than the bug docs fixed prior to 11.1.0.6.0 (nor has 11g support yet).
Has anyone else experienced this?

What creates this test.txt file that keeps appearing in my Home Folder?

Seems to have first appeared on 12/10, and was updated each day since, until I deleted it yesterday and a new document was created this morning.
It's just a simple TextEdit document, with a 0 as the only character of text.
Anyone know about this?

never seen this but it's pretty clear that one of your programs creates it as a temp file for whatever reason and doesn't clean up after itself. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to figure out which one is doing it. you can try if you like. did you install any apps recently? delete the file and next time it's created look at the creation time and try to determine what was running at the time. if the file is created on login you can try removing your login items one at a time and see if that affects the file creation.

What are these files that keep appearing on my desktop and how can I stop them from showing up?

Ever since I've upgraded to OS X Mavericks, I've had these strange files show up on my desktop. The trouble is that they show up even a little while after I delete them. Here's a few examples:

I've done a few virus scans, but they showed no viruses. Why are these files always popping up and how can I prevent them from appearing on my desktop again?

You need to delete Bitdefender from your Mac. It will cause you nothing but problems.

Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.

Sync conflict error keeps appearing

I keep getting sync conflict notices for 7 obvious differences between my contact
list and the .mac info. Every time I attemp to properly use the conflict resolver
it eventually just returns to the same notice about the same 7 sync conflicts.
Any suggestions?

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Untrusted Connection error keeps appearing

I've tried it all, uninstalling/reinstalling firefox, clearing the caches, setting it to default, running it in safe mode, configuring the clock and still nothing. Sites like facebook and google keep getting blocked, and even when I confirm them as security exceptions they don't load properly. I really hate internet explorer, so please please tell me theres a solution!

Itunes keeps not downloading with a file error

A file error keeps popping up so I cant download itunes

what are the circumstances under which you are getting that error? are you launching, importing a CD, plugging in an ipod, something else? (err on the side of too much information rather than too little.)
are you getting a Windows Explorer error message too when itunes crashes? if so, what does it say?

How can I stop these weird inert file images from appearing on my desktop?

Inert file images keep appearing and cluttering up my desktop with names such as: 3FV2JEQy.JPG.part; 9wA_fwAk.JPG.part; MpxSEQgY.jpg.part etc.
It seems to me that they are related to viewing photos from emails with "Preview". (They could be photos from iPhoto also. I cannot be certain).
My desktop fills up with these weird inert file images and I have to go thru and delete them to clear the mess on my desktop. How can I stop this from occurring??

Hey people,
I have a problem with my Muvo TX USB 2.0 :
when i try to switch on my mp3, "File Error System" appears on the screen and the player switches off on its own.
When I plug it in my laptop, i'm unable to access the hard dri've but I can see the player's supposed not to have any free space (O octets) !! But I have no file into it...
I can't do a single thing with it !
Please help !

You get into Recovery Mode by connecting the player to your PC while pressing and holding the Play button - it's not like the Hard Dri've players where you start the player in a certain way to access Rescue Mode on the player. The TX doesn't have a hard dri've only flash memory.
You need to install the drivers onto your PC first as they contain the Recovery Mode drivers.

Panic! file error when rendering

I'm running on FCP 6.0.3 with a Macbook 1,83 2gb ram
have a mixed timeline from motion jpeg a compressed movies. i couldn't render some of them. File error keeps popping up.
and now it seems i can't render any of my projects. don't know what's gone wrong and panicking for my application send-in. please help!

Error message repairing library database keeps appearing in iPhoto in iMac

Why does the error message "repairing library database" keeps appearing?

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
