Is it possible to create different photo albums for on the iPhone 4? If so, how is it done? FOB
With iPhoto on your Mac. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, choose selected albums, events, etc. for syncing with iPhoto followed by selecting the iPhoto albums and events below followed by a sync.

How do I geotag photos in iPhoto for the iPhone?
I decided to purchase the iPhoto app for my iPhone 4S after carefully reading through the description to make sure it could do most of what I wanted. Most importantly a statement in the description said I could add location data, comments & even the weather by simply swiping across a photo. On that basis, I purchased the app. After a couple of hours of playing with it, I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong? Swiping just scrolls to the next photo. If I look under the info tab for the option to geotag, it's not there. I checked out the app help and curiously there is no mention of geotagging a photo anywhere. Was I led astray or am I just doing something wrong?
You may be misunderstanding the capabiities. The location info is added to the EXIF data of a photo as it is taken (at least that's how it works with the iPhone). This is an optional feature for your photos, and you can turn it on by going to Settings, Location Services, and turning the service ON for the camera. Now, once you take a photo, the GPS data will be associated with it.
Next, if you open that photo in Photos or iPhoto on your device, the GPS data tagged on the photos will show up on a little map in the Places view.
Stated another way, I don't think there is a way in iPhoto for iOS to tag your photos after you take them. However, if you use your iPhone camera and have Location Services turned on, you should get GPS data added to each photo without any further work on your part. -
Can i use my husbands upgrade for the iphone 6 promotion

How do i convert my imovie trailer for the iphone 4 to other file formats?
I'm due to make a comical presentation in 2 days, and i downloaded iMovie for the iphone 4, and would like to use the trailers created as part of the presentation.
I'm on windows xp, and have sent the file to itunes, gone into the file sharing part, added it, saved it, and even synched the flipping thing and yet it wont even play in itunes??? thats driving me mad as it is??
Not really bothered about that....My real main concern is wanting to play the movie file in an AVI/MOV/MP4 etc format, and have even downloaded various video conversion packages to try an convert and playback my results, but once again, and a few hours wasted, I find myself facing another brick wall.
Is it even possible to playback the imovie trailers created in a more generic video format for others to see??

Please someone help me, or put me out of my misery.Actually, scrap that one girls. Ive figured it out. For those who have a similar prob, just make sure you have quicktime installed. plug ur iphone into ur pc as normal, and choose the camera an scanner options that appears auto on ur window. select the trailer u wish after the usual wizard talk through and then "ok" or "apply" or whatever the button is called. select your destination folder, and walaa. its all done, and converted into .MOV format.
NOTE: When saving ur trailer on ur phone, and it asks what file size, chose the Medium one, or it takes ages to open.....unless ur comp is super fast, and not like my craptop. -
Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. or try again later." and next to the file it has err = -3259. I have tried this 17 times and it won't work. My iTunes is completely up to date. I have made sure that my connection is fine and I have tried turning my firewall off with no avail. This has happened to me before but usually the update will go through after 2-3 tries, never to this extent. I don't know what to do. Help!

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

Yes, Airport Express Base Station connected to your Mac by ethernet will work as a bridge. Or you can connect the AE directly to your router/modem by ethernet if it's a non-wi-fi router and it will act as a relay for that.

Can I use my Nationwide Messaging plan for the iPhone 4?
I currently have a plan called Nationwide Messaging (you get unlimited texting and data for $35 a month, and minutes are 40 cents each) which works well for me since I rarely use my phone to talk.
All the iPhone FAQ says is that you need a Nationwide plan, which I have, and a data package, which is already included in my plan. So will this work for the iPhone?You'd have to upgrade to the smartphone version of that plan for $55/month since the $35 plan is for regular phones and it looks like they're are added requirements to be eligible for that one.

I think to get the best price towards an iPhone 6 you have to have the appraisal submitted and new phone ordered by tomorrow (9/30/14) You buy the new phone on contract price then they email you a Verizon gift card after they receive your phone and make the final decisions on how much to give you. Does anyone know of an e-reader app for the iphone that has text to speech capability? I have a Kindle 3G that can read whole pdf documents and books but I cannot figure out how to do it on my iphone 4.
All of the apps I have found on the App store either do not have the text to speech capability or if they have it they will only read a page at a time or simply read the text you paste into their window. I really do not understand what is so difficult about having this feature as Kindle provides it--though Amazon does not make the feature available on its iPhone 4 app.
Please help.thanks. yes i am aware of the VoiceOver feature but it is NOT the solution to my problem. as you said, it is a solution to a different set of issues. i want the text to speech ability because i there are books i need to read but do not have the time to sit down and read them and have become used to listening to them read to me either by a professional human reader or with the text to speech software on the Kindle.
I think Apple makes the best audio devices but i am really disappointed in this inexplainable shortcoming. if apple can give us siri they ought to be able to design a nice little button that i can push to turn on text to speech while i am in a document, book, magazine or webpage. clearly it is possible as apple has added the "reader" button in safari to have web pages dropped into the reader format.

All-in-one cleaning cloth & carrying pouch for the iPhone
As I was looking for an all-in-one solution to protect my iPhone in my pocket that could also double as a cleaning cloth, I came up with a low-cost solution. I purchased a cleaning cloth pouch used for sunglasses from Sunglass Hut.
While being able to fit my iPhone inside, I wasn't quite satisfied with the length, so I folded the bag over and stitched across. Now it feels as if the bag was made for the iPhone. Here's how...

I'd like to see a wiki appendage for the iphone
This is an idle thought, but I was looking at the fabulous wiki for the works of Thomas Pynchon the other day -- http://pynchonwiki.com/ -- and thinking that it would be great to have a utility that lets your phone scan a line or two of the book and then connect to online annotations of that passage. This would allow you to retain the pleasures of reading a fixed-type paper book, but have all the flexibility of the online annotating community.
Something like a "see through" lens, where you can slide your phone (or tablet, whatever) over a portion of the page and "see through" the phone (via a camera lens or scanning surface) to the text underneath until you pass over the passage you are interested in (which you would capture and then send to the wiki for comment). I've tried OCR for the iphone with very poor results, so this kind of "anchoring" system for linking real paper text to wiki entries (etc.) would not be easy to build. But I could do a lot with it as a teacher, and as a reader.Tell someone who make iphone apps.
