Iphoto in the latest edition crushes every time, when i try to edit the location of the photo, why? And how can i avoid this?

Hi, i updatet this week to Lion, and i did all updates for ilife as well. But know, every time i will change or edit the location/place of a picture, iphoto freezes. One cpu goes to 100% and iphoto dosn't work anymore. What can i do?

Hi, again! I got still the problem. Is there nowhere somebody with a solution (Apple maybe?).
It is annoying. I could still add photos but editing the location leads always to a crash. You can see the result in the screen shot above. In the doc is the monitor with one red bar - thats the cpu iphoto grabs and then freezes.
You could also see the field for typing in a location is still active (cursor is there) and the dropdown seems to wait for an answer of google... and thats it...
Is there a way to deaktivate this feature, so i can only type in my location without an location witch Google?

I cannot play most of the music in my iTunes as of today. I have over 14,000 songs. Almost ALL of them have exclamation points next to them and when I try to play them, a window saying error type 9044 appears and tells me the files cannot be located.

On the profile folder in windows you can right click on the folder and uncheck the "run as an administrator"

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

In the small screen of the Printer I notice a different Pin number when I try to get a wireless connection. On my router/Modum is a Pinnumber mentioned. Do I have to use this Pin number to establish a wireless connection?? and how to enter this Pin number into the electronict of the printer.

Why is that every time I start my computer it asks for my Yahoo email password? How can I fix this?

The computer keeps asking for my password for Yahoo. I already gave it but it asks over and over. This happens every time I start using the computer.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.

Try:

Since upgrading to FF v4, every time I open a "new window", all other instances of FF windows open, how can I keep this from happening?

Since I started using FireFox version 4, every time I open a "new window", all other instances of FireFox windows open up. IPod abrubtly cuts off and only comes back on when you unlock the hold button. why and how can i fix this?

I listen to my iPod Classic at work and it kept cutting off today out of nowhere and this hasn't happened before. I have it in my pocket so I have the HOLD button in the lock position so the wheel won't get pressed while in my pocket. I figured it died on me but I had just charged it last night so I took it out and unlocked the HOLD button. Well, the music immediately came back on. It happened a few more times and i figured maybe it was the song or something so I changed albums and it kept happening. Every time it would cut off, I'd unlock the HOLD button and it'd come back on every time, almost like it was paused or something. Has anyone experienced this? if so, how do I fix it? I really don't want to buy a new iPod since I have little money because of school, bills, and photography/film equipment. Help? thanks.

I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this too. This is what is going on. Sometimes the iPod (iPod Classic 160GB) does not "like" the songs I've downloaded from cds. Sometimes it does. I think it always plays whatever songs I've purchased on iTunes though. The other day I synced it to add two new cds and somehow the iPod was wiped clean--no songs, no pictures, nothing. I did a reset and the songs came back but now these problems:
1. The song will play for a few seconds then it either skips to the next song.
2. The song won't play, just skips to the next song.
3. Everything just stops, the iPod is still 'on' but won't play anything.
4. Right now it's playing an Aimee Mann album that I downloaded but it wouldn't play the Joni Mitchell album just before. Is the iPod making a comment on my taste in music?
Flipping the lock back and forth helps sometimes, but not always.
I bought this device less than two years ago; I really hope it's not permanently messed up. Should I just go to the Apple Store (please I beg of you, don't make me!) and throw myself at their mercy?

After the most recent update for my Wndows 7 computer, every time I load a page I get a Java script error message. How can I fix this?

The pop-up window states Error: Syntax error. This happens on almost every page that I load. It's also happening on my windows xp laptop... and it seems that it has something to do with the most recent Microsoft updates that just went through.

i found the solution to my problem:
just click the extensions-button on top of the screen (in dutch it's "extra". Go to "add-ons" and uninstall the veedh-thing-plugin. problem solved :D

When I open an html file saved in UTF-8 format the 3-byte file header (usually hex EF BB BF) is shown as text at top-left. How can I avoid this - all other browsers interpret the header correctly and don't show it.

I write VB apps that create web pages for international sports scoring systems, and these must be able to show Latin, Cyrillic, eastern names etc. that require 2-bytes for some characters in the text. This means saving in UTF-8 to avoid 8-bit ASCII files being created. UTF-8 files typically have a 3-byte header = hex EB BB BF, and with all browsers except Firefox this header is interpreted and not shown. Firefox however always displays these characters as ï»¿ at the top-left screen position. What do I have to do the make Firefox recognize UTF-8 files, or do to my UTF-8 files to work properly with Firefox?

You see that UTF-8 BOM (Byte Order Mark) because of the content type specification in the page code.
