Iphoto is not working on my Mac, I click on it and nothing happens
All of a sudden I can't open iPhoto
What happens, when you double click the iPhoto icon in the Applications folder? Does iPhoto then launch?
Which version of iPhoto is it? you should be able to see the version number below the iPhoto icon in the Applications folder.

Search does not work. Put something in search, press search and nothing happens
"Search" in the middle of the page does not seem to work. I put something in there, press search and nothing happens. the web dynpro applications for internal and external candidated existed with eRec 6.0 SP 7 (or 9 depending if we count delivered or working ) so the were available before SES and are working with the old TREX setup as long as the SES business function is not activated.
As a general issue you could check IMG node "Assign Search Template Groups to Search Applications". The web dynpro applications use new CompIds (the ones with capital letters). Check if the Ids are existing (you might need to compare with client 000) and if the Search Mask Group Ids assigned are correct.
Furthermore check the application log (SLG1). If there is some configuration issue in the search masks a log entry should be written. If you need assistance with the log entry, just post it here and we will see if we can help.

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

Negative (to inline a letter or to thin it) offset path does not work in Illus-CC 2014 (when preview is on- nothing happens). How can I get this to work like in previous versions.
Thanks for your quick reply. I tried a number of different values. Usually when I do a negative offset they're very small values, like -.25 or -.5.
An Update- I took the art work into Ai CS 6 and It still did not work, which is really strange. And I've used it hundreds of times with success in the past. Also I tried it with live type and outlines, ungrouped, un-compounded still could not get it to negative offset.

I am about to buy and iphone 4, its second hand and is in amazing condition. The only problem is that the 'wi-fi' button doesn't not work. I tried to click on it but nothing responds. Can this be fixed? Should i still purchase it?
while you are with the person selling it to you, ask if you can do a complete restore of the software settings->general->reset->reset all
reboot the phone to factory settings and see if that fixes the problem. if not, i wouldn't buy it unless they are selling it to you for less than $50. wifi is crucial for keeping data low and using features like facetime -
I can no longer open any attachments that are sent to me. I click on and get cannot preview (but have had this for ages). I am clicking on download and nothing happens. It does not download. I clicked to install a new version after updating and clicking repair. But still the attachments won't open including invoices I have received today. It is all attachments not just pdfs.

IPhoto does not work on my mac
Everytime I try to open my iPhoto on my 15' Mac Book it gives me the same message - The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto. Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process for very large libraries may take an hour or more to complete.
I have restarted - requested the upgrade - it can run for hours and nothing changes. It has been like this for well over three months. Please help. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
when you get that message do you give the go ahead to upgrade the library?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

Starting up with a new computer, I've been trying to install two search engine add-ons: easy youtube video downloader and
search IMDB. They are top rated so presumably safe and approved. I go through the whole process of installing them, and restart Firefox as instructed but nothing happens. I looked in the search plugins folder in Firefox (Program Files). I can see the search add-ons that were there when I first started on this computer, but none of the ones I'm trying to add are there. I've gone around and around on this repeatedly with no success. I tried the adobe removal tool
removing all copies of adobe software manually
installing from a new account, safe mode, plist everything suggested that i found did not work.
A colleague suggested that removing the below folder would allow the installation:
/Library/Application Supports/Adobe
They turned out to be correct, so i am passing this on, because this took far too many hours of my time.
