IPhoto, iTunes and Firefox ALL quitting at launch

Question

I'm trying to help my step-mom with her Mac issues, and she seems to have a few. Her iTunes, iPhoto and Firefox are all "unexpectedly quitting" when she trys to launch them. I have cut and paste the Problem Report from iPhoto. For iTunes (if it matters) I have removed it from the computer. As for Firefox, it just won't launch - period. Maybe they're connected, maybe not. Unless you get better help here, the first thing I would consider is the possibility of bad RAM:

If you need more help, when you post back, please tell us:
  (1) whether anyone has added or changed any of her RAM,
  (2) whether the problems are the same after disconnecting all peripherals and restarting her Mac, and
  (3) whether someone had recently added or changed any hardware or software on her Mac prior to the onset of this problem.
Someone may be able to give you more detailed suggestions based on your specific details.
