IPhoto Journal aus iCloud auf iPad zurückladen

Nach einem Absturz ist mein Journal nur noch in iCloud vorhanden. Wie kann ich es auf meinen iPad zurückladen? Wenn ich die Version in iCloud ansehe, sind die Antwortzeiten viel zu lange.

I noted that there is a cloud right on the journal. This only happened after I published. I am using this program for the first time so I could be wrong, but have a look.
I would only like to comment that it's completely senseless not to have a journal link on the iCloud main page on our computers. Why not?

I can no longer publish iPhoto Journals to iCloud

I have succesfully published and shared many iPhoto Journals to iCloud over the last few months. This was my main reason for purchasing the App.
It no longer works, I just get a spinning wheel and the perpetual indication that the journal is uploading. I have checked my iCloud storage space and have over 4GB of space so that's not the problem. I keep the iPad and Apps up to date. I have also tried deleting iPhoto from the iPad and starting over.
Any ideas or is this a known bug that requires an Apple update in the future?

I have since received AppleCare's advice:
Backup then restore iPad as new.
This worked, albeit a rather frustrating and unelegant solution.

Try the following to jumpstart the photo streams:
Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Cant find my iOS iPhoto journal in iCloud

When I go to iCloud on my MBP I only find options for Mail, contacts, calendar, find my iphone and iWork. How do I get to the rest of my iCloud content?

Lost photos in the iPhoto journals of iCloud

I uploaded a journals to icloud a year ago.
I don't know why when I open the share link now, all the photos can't be displayed on the web page, only remain my text.
Is it iCloud's server problem?
How can I get back? becoz i have delete the journal in iPhoto of my iPad.

IPhoto backups to iCloud with iPad

Hi. I use iPhoto only with my iPad and I have also activeted iCloud. I also use the photo journals of iPhoto which I share in iCloud. I know that iCloud bacups the camera roll album. I think that the shared photo journals should have been backuped in iCloud but how is with the original photos which I have used in the photo journals? In iPhoto there is also an album called "Modified", is that backuped in iCloud?

I am still wondering when I look at iCloud statistics (iCloud>Storage,backups>Storage>Documents and data) it says that in iCloud there is documents and data 798,5 Mb from iPhoto. What data is this?
When I look iCloud statistics (iCloud>Storage,backups>Storage>Backups>My iPad) it says that the sizes of backups are: Camera roll 1,3 Gb and iPhoto 1,6Gb. This 1,6 Gb must include some photos, it can't be only the size of iPhoto application?

Can not send my iPhoto journal to iCloud

The first 2 journals went fine, but if I make a new journal now I am not able to publice it on iCloud. My iPhone/iPad says "uploading" and that's it. First I thought because of the amount of photo's but even if I make a new journal of 2 photo's it will not upload on iCloud so I can send the link to friends/family. The old journals are still working fine. nyone else having this problem? Will deleting the iPhoto app and install it again do the trick? Please help.

sorry but you upgraded to 55gb for nothing. it doesn't hold all of your photos, only a specific amount for a specific amount of time. during the original keynote they made it clear that it was meant to stream photos taken on an ios device to each other and to your pc. on your pc (whether your os is windows or os x) it'll keep it on that machine permanently (unless you delete it) but on your ios device it'll only keep it on there for a certain amount of time unless you decide to save it to the device. its not like the gallery function of MobileMe

IPhoto journals on iCloud not working

I created a journal on my iPhone and I published it on iCloud, no problem at all.
Then I took my iPad and inside iPhoto I can see the journal cover correctly, however, when I try to open it, it shows only a grey background for a second (with the spinning wheel sign) and just disappears. There's no way to see my shared journal.
I tried the opposite operation (creating the journal on iPad and try to see it on my iPhone) but it's the same.
I have iOS 5.1 on both devices and iTunes 10.6, what should I do?

I have the exact same problem. I picked up my New iPad this week and wanted to sync my journals. But on the iPad I can see the journals cover, but only get the grey background and spinning wheel when opening.
I've tried to rename jounals, delete all journals, create a new journal with one picture, log in/out of iCloud and restarted borh devices (iPhone 4S and the new iPad).
Is iCloud unstable at the moment, or is this common? BTW, my camera roll syncs just fine.

How to view iPhoto journal in iCloud

Has anyone figured out how to identify the URL to view the "Home Page" in iCloud for journals created by iOS iPhoto?

Could be a crummy Internet connection. Alternatively, the iCloud servers may be under heavy load. There has been a big heat wave in North Carolina for the last couple days, and it may have affected Apples servers there.

To delete a web journal, tap Projects to see all your journals, touch and hold the journal you want to delete, and tap .
You can delete Web Journals only on the device, that has been used to create and publish them.

JavaScript error in IE8 with shared iPhoto Journals

I like iPhoto for iOS a lot: soo easy to build and design photo journals.
BUT: when I publish iPhoto Journals in iCloud and share the link to with others, they tell me they cannot see anything else than the headline and the background pattern... no pictures.
In Safari on iOS devices I have no issues to see the Journal. Same for Windows PCs with Google Chrome browser.
But when I use Internet Explorer 8 browser, the Journal stops loading after the background image is shown.
And the small javascript error indicator tells that IE8 stopped loading/rendering due to JavaScript issues within the JS-code of the page.
As I have no influence on JavaScript of the shared Journals, I would urgently like Apple to test and fix the issue.
Also in iOS Safari with enabled Debug Console the JavaScript errors are specified...

Link to iphoto journal - unable to view pictures

I've received an email link to a iphoto journal, the icloud link opens fine. Text can be viewed but all the photos are blank although the footprint and location of them all appear correctly.? Can anyone help - i'm on a mac OS X - 10.5.8

First, try rebuilding the iPhoto database. And try this:

They're not referencing properly. The original AVI files are not being located in the iPhoto database, but the project MOV files are fine because they are native to iMovie.

ICloud/iPhoto Journals/browser|device anomaly

Created a Journal; both iPhone and iPad devices were able to view the attendant images. However, on two desktop Mac computers and in browsers Google Chrome and Apple Safari only generic outline layout of the images were viewable, not the images themselves; interestingly, Mozilla Firefox did display the Apple website correctly. As to the PC side, Microsoft Explorer couldn't view this page at all.
Again, on my older model computers, neither Chrome nor Safari could view this 'journal' iCloud-related page properly, while Firefox could. And nothing on the PC side was able to.
I am very interested to hear contrary reports, and perhaps suggestions as to why this is happening.

I think I understand your question!
To save it on another device, simply publish it to iCloud.
At the top of your finished Journal, tap the curved arrow and select "iCloud". Next, turn on "Publish to iCloud". The program will upload the images for a few moments, and the journal should be available on your other devices in iPhoto under Journals.
