Iphoto Journal will not load to iCloud

I have successfully uploaded a Journal of about 20 2mb images, but not anymore. It just hangs forever. I tried a journal of just one image and reinstalled iPhoto but to no avail. My wireless network and iCloud are working fine ( I think).

If you have actually selected the albums to sync by putting check marks next to the names of the albums and they still will not sync, quit iTunes and restart you iPad - then try again.
If that does not work try unsyncing all photos to remove them from the iPad, then select the albums to sync again - and sync one more time.
In some cases, removing the iPod Photo Cache folder can help as well. You can read about that here.

Mail will not load in icloud mail since its update in Sep 2012

My mail pane will not load, I've tried both on my pc and my mac, using safari, chrome and firefox. Both at home and at home. This all used to work, but stopped working when the updates to icloud were release.

Open iPhoto, and then go to Preferences (under iPhoto in the menu bar). Check these two things:
1. Under the "General" tab, make sure you have set "Email photos using" to "iPhoto".
2. Under the "Accounts" tab, be sure your email account information is set correctly.

IPhoto Journal is not deleted in iCloud!

Hi, i have tested the new journal function in iPhoto for iOS.
Later i deleted the journal on the iPad, but is not deleted in iCloud.

I'm having a similar problem. I deleted iPhoto from iOS and reinstalled it. When I reinstalled it, of course, my journal was gone. However, it remains in iCloud. Two questions remain:
a) I wonder, is there a way to get the icloud Journal back on my iPad so I can edit it again, or is it permanently gone from my iPad (though remaining in iCloud).
b) Conversely, if I wanted to delete it from iCloud, how would I go about doing that.

Preferences Panel will not Load for ICloud or Internet Accounts

I am having issues with my iCloud and as a result my iCal is completely blank. In system preferences I try to click either iCloud or Internet Accounts and it reads "Preferences Error. Could not load Internet Accounts Preferences Pane." When I look in the console under diagnostic reports there was a crash log from around the same time the issue began titled CalendarAgent
It reads as follows:

It may help to reinstall Mac OS X on your system. The directions in the article linked below are for Mavericks (OS X 10.9), but will work for OS X 10.7 and OS X 10.8 as well.

HT1338 I have a problem with my mac with snow leopard 10.6, the Iphoto app will not load ant of my photos

my mac will not open iphoto with my photos. the app opens and the circle just keeps spinning. I have tried reinstalling the ilife , i have tried holding the command and option keys and fixing it that way , nothing works.

Iphoto 6 will not load photos

Everytime i open Iphoto it says "loading photos" but never does. i hev to close it down. Next time I oen it the same thing happend. This started after I downloaded some photos from a media card through my HP1600 printer. Part way through the download I realised i was not in my account and changed to my own. Then it went wrong. I have deeted all the photos that were downloaded but cannot open the library. Any ideas please.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try download and run BatChmod on both the iPhoto Library folder and the folder with the new photos from the HP 1600 with the settings shown here, substituting your account name for mine. You can either type in the path to each folder or just drag them one at a time into that field and click on apply.

Mail will not load in iCloud

am I the only one having this problem? Updated everything:Lion/Safari/iTunes/IOS5 on iphone and ipad. Switched from mobile me to icloud. Cannot get mail. I can sign in to icloud and get calendars/contacts etc but no mail. When I go to mail prefs and icloud prefs, mail is not checked. When I check it it does not save, it unchecks itself. Tried adding my apple id as a new email account as it is not in my ''accounts prefs" in Mail any longer, and it won't let me. So I have not been able to get any of my mac mail since yesterday. My gmail is fine.
Can anyone help? My business relies on this mail. I had a feeling this icloud/mobile me was not going to work.

IPhoto 5 will not load my old iPhoto 4 photos

i just bought iLife '05 (just to upgrade iPhoto... that's another topic!) I was previously running iPhoto 4 with no problems. When I launched iPhoto 5, it asked if it should upgrade my library (this is good) it spins for about a minute and shuts down, asking if I want to submit a report to Apple!
I have tried creating a library and then importing my old photos but it still crashes!
This happens every time! Obviously my photos are still physically on my hard drive but what gives?
This is an Apple product. I am upgrading from an Apple product. iPhoto is not a new product. I tried downloading the latest revision. Still no good.
This is ridiculous! I paid ~$80 for this? I feel bad enough having to shell out for the iLife bundle when all i really want is iPhoto! Note to Apple... you are ******* people off. Loyalty is not a right, it is something you earn. Please do not become more MS than MS themselves! (rant over
Any help would be very much appreciated.

If you can still start iPhoto 4 and see the photos try rebuilding the iPhoto library in iPhoto 4.
Do that by holding down the Option (Alt) and Apple keys when you start iPhoto 4.
You should get a dialog box that will let you choose to rebuild the library.
Once it is rebuilt try to upgrade to iPhoto 5.
If it updates then you need to apply the update you downloaded.

Iphoto Images will not Load when trying to attach as a file.

When trying to attach a Iphoto image to either gmail or facebook, I am able to access Iphoto; however, I receive a message "Loading Iphoto images" but the photos never load. This just recently occurred a few weeks ago and I have never had problems uploading photos from Iphoto in the past. I am able to drag the photo to my desktop and then upload from the desktop folder but am curious why the Iphoto images are no longer being loaded.

Iphoto will not load my photos

Hello There,
This happened so randomly that I honestly do not know what had happened. My iphoto suddenly will not load any pictures that have been stored inside.
The keeps showing this colourful wheel thingy.
I tried pressing <option> & <command> tab to rebuild the photos, but to no avail.
Can somebody help me please ?

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

IPhoto Will not Load even after reinstall

All of a sudden, iphoto will not load....I receive this error:
Iphoto cannot be loaded because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure that iphoto works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X.
I reinstalled iphoto from the disk (so now I have iphoto and iphone (original) .....i reboot and then try to access the new iphoto....same error. iphoto library appears ok. I can still attach a pic via "photo browser" button in email.

ok, I trashed all of the receipts related to iphoto (once i knew to search on "iphoto receipts" this is what everyone said). I relaoded from the ilife '11 disk.....tried to load iphoto and got what you see below...same exact issue.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?

IPhoto will not load the iPhoto library. When I select "show all windows" the library does appear but cannot open it. I am on version 8.1.2 and using Maverick.

I was able to get it fixed. I had received some responses and they had me
recreate the library I believe. It's been a while so I cant remember
exactly what I did. I have since upgraded to the latest i photo version and
have had no problems with it.
