Iphoto library in ipad

how can i remove photo library which is linked to iphoto from my ipad

Sorry but your question is not clear
this is the iPhoto for Mac forum
There is an iPhoto for IOS forum which covers the iPad
There is no "link" of any sort between iPhoto for the Mac and iPhoto for IOS - all they share is a name at this time
What exactly is your question and for what platform?

  • View shared iMac iPhoto library on iPad?

This would be one of the reasons for me to buy the iPad: if you could view all the photos that are in iPhoto on my iMac. Syncing doesn't make sense, just doesn't fit. And there is wifi, so should be possible... Simplify Photo used to do this I think, but they closed shop....
Any ideas? Maybe I'm missing something, and it's just a standard feature. Would make sense....
    Thanks!

No, it just probably means that the OP has long since moved on.
You know you come to a forum and post a new topic and get hammered for not searching. You search for a topic and resurrect and old one and get hammered for posting in an old one.
No one was "hammering" you. It gets suggested that people search the forum to find answers to their questions before starting a new post. I've never seen anyone suggest that you go looking for dormant posts and answer them, though you are, of course, free to do so.
Most people here are pretty polite and that's enforced by the Hosts. However, it's still good policy, in my opinion, to assume that people didn't mean to be rude, rather than immediately getting defensive. I find it makes my time here much less stressful.
    Best of luck.

  • IPhoto access from iPads

OK, maybe a simple question, maybe not, but I've been unable to find a clear answer.
The queation is easy:  is there a way that I can access my iPhoto library from iPads/iPhones on the same network (MAC is wired).  I'm not looking to edit or store photos, just to view thm and occasionally move some to the iDevices camera roll or local library for sharing, emailing, etc.
I am looking for a local networked solution and not interested in moving all of the photos onto iCloud.
    thanks, B

You cannot access your entire photo library via a "networked" solution. The only way to have access to a single library from all devices is to store that library in a single accessible place - i.e., a cloud of some sort.
You do have a way for all of your Camera Roll photos from all of your devices shared with all of your other devices via Photo Stream. You can also share selected photos between all devices using a Shared Photo Stream sent to your own email address.
I presume you are already familiar with Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams?

  • How to share an iPhoto library with an iPad?

Hi everyone. Just wondering how do you share an iPhoto library with an ipad over a network? I want to use my ipad to browse photos when I'm at home over my network since I can't fit all my photos onto my ipad. I can't seem to figure it out. Help is appreciated!

You can not - they have nothing in common except the name - you can share photos using PhotoStream - you can not sare an iPhoto library

  • How can I share my iPhoto library with my wife's iPad?

Is it possible to share my iPhoto library (Yosemite) with my wife's iPad? She doesn't have a separate mac, but she does have her own apple ID.

    No
You can share selected photos using PhotoStream - you can not share the library
Next year the Photos App for the Mac should be able to share the library on iCloud using iCloud photo library

  • How do I sync my iPhoto library on my mac to my iPad

How do I sync photos from my Iphoto library to my iPad 2? Any help would be great!

Photostream wouldn't work because it can't stream videos.
I don't have iTunes Wifi sync enabled.
My USB sync is working but I can't find a way to select iPhoto photos that I want to sync onto my  iPad.
On an older version of iTunes, I could select "My iPad" under my devices and then click on the Photos tab, but it's not there on the new version. If anything, I would love to get my photos on to my iPad through the USB connection.
    Thanks

  • How to export my Mac's iPhoto library from my iPad?

    Hey !
Recently, my MacBook died, taking my iPhoto library with it. Thankfully, i had transferred all of it to my iPad Mini. I bought a new MacBook and would like to export the library i had previously imported to my iPad Mini back to my Mac.
When i plug my iPad Mini, all i can do is transfer photos taken with it, not the rest of the library.
Those (thousands of) photos were all carefully organized, i'd really like to get my library back as it was (the only option i can currently find is sending each individual photos via mail from the iPad...)
I own the iPhoto iPad app, maybe there's a way using it ?
    Thanks a lot.

To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you can use a third-party iPad app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your original Mac.

  • How to access same iPhoto library from MacBook and iPad without making a copy (sync option)

I have a simple question to you guys (tried to sort it out with Apple tech support but no luck there!)
How can I set up iPhoto in a way that I can have access to the same files from iPhoto on MacBook and from iPhoto app on iPad? I do not wish to sync files as this will create a copy of a file and also when for example you do editing of an image on Mac you want that to automatecly reflect on a file being viewed later on on iPad (and the other way around) without the need of a sync. option
I tested this with photo stream but the problem there is that in order to make any changes to an image you HAVE to do it in the library folder you can not do it in the photostream i.e you took a pix on your iPhone, - photostream pushed it to your iPad and to your Mac, - you've desided to let's say to crop the image on Mac then you've closed that image. When then you open the same image on your iPad (or iPhone) the image is not cropped, why? becouse you've edited an image inside the iPhoto library on the Mac and didn't sync it with iPad.
So it would be great if iPhone and Mac worked with the same library - save space and cleaner workflow!

    And again
    there is no solution today
You can not - there is no commonality between iPhoto on the Mac and on the iPad except the name
You can sync - you can use PhotoStream - you can not share a library - and IOS devices can not access external hard drives and if they could they can not read the contents of the iPhoto library since there is no commonality between iPhoto on the Mac and on the iPad except the nameYou can put your iPhoto library on an external drive if you wish as long as the volmne it is on is formattted Mac OS extended (journaled) - but that does not change the fact that neither the iPad nor the iPhone can access it since there is no commonality between iPhoto on the Mac and on the iPad except the nameIt really is extremely simple - you can not do it today

  • How to explain.  OK 1st all photos are visible in my iPhoto library; however, some are stored on hard drive and some are stored on external.  All can be viewed in itunes, but none on the external will sync to my iPad.  What's up with that.

How to explain.  OK 1st all photos are visible in my iPhoto library; however, some are stored on hard drive and some are stored on external.  All can be marked or unmarked in itunes, but none of the photos stored on the external drive will sync to my iPad.  Anybody know what's up with that?

What really cheeses me off here is that Apple isn't allowing users enough customization.  With each update of iTunes (and the OS and iOS) we're forced to give up something that worked well for the way we want to use the app and make do with fewer (and lamer) options.  If Apple keeps this up, they're going to start losing customers fast.  I mean if this isn't fixed soon, I'm pretty sure I'm going to give up on iTunes, and then I'll probably go ahead and get a Galaxy when I need to replace my iPhone.
What I don't understand about how they won't let users delete the list of available podcasts now is why?  How is this making it a better program?  I can understand that not all users are capable enough to right-click on a feed and select "Show all available episodes", so I can see why they want the complete list to be the default (and, surprise, it already was).  But to not give users the option to delete that list?  It's inconsiderate because it makes navigating feeds with a large back catalogue really frustrating.  I'm flabbergasted that no one at Apple considered all the podcast feeds that keep hundreds of episodes available when they removed this feature.  It smacks of rank incompetence.
What improvement were they trying to make here anyway?  There was nothing wrong to my mind about how podcasts were managed in previous versions.  Whatever improvement they were trying to make here, they should have realized that many users would at least want the option to keep things the way they were.
And reverting to a previous version is no solution.  I can't sync my iPhone with the new iOS without this update, and (while I do have some issues--specifically how you can't play podcasts in the Music app anymore) I do like the new iOS.

  • My Mac's iPhoto library is larger than my iPad's photo library, despite containing the same photos???

    Hello everyone.
My iPhoto library is 22.91gb when shown in finder, and 13.8gb when shown in the iPhoto window inside iPhoto.  There are 4665 photos.  I understand why there's a difference - that's not my question.
What is confusing me is that when I sync my MacBook and my iPad, on itunes I select to sync ALL my photos from iPhoto to my iPad.  However, on my iPad they take up only 6.66gb of space, with a total of 5670 photos on the iPad (duplicates within albums, recently deleted folder and camera roll I guess).
4665 photos on mac - 22.91gb (13.8 in real terms)
    5670 photos on ipad - 6.66gb
What's going on? The quality doesn't seem reduced on the ipad at all.  I only have a little 120gb macbook air hard drive so could really do with extra space.
    thanks very much

Syncing with iTunes will store only smaller versions on your iPad, not the full sized originals, so the storage required will be less.
But the syncing will also create a cache inside the iPhoto Library with the optimised versions and require additional space on your Mac, see:  iTunes: Understanding the iPod Photo Cache folder
