IPhoto not playing videos

Some of my videos in iPhoto won't open or can't be transferred to Facebook. What's wrong? I'm all updated to Mavericks, which may be the issue. A few days ago I tried to open my videos in iMovie and they worked. Now they don't appear in iMovie at all, even when I try to make a new event. I can currently play all but one video in iPhoto but can't move any of them to Facebook or iMovie.

Installed quicktime update 7. That partially fixed the problem. The videos will play but will not expand open. Can't figure out how to remove the quicktime 10 as mentioned in other communities.

IPhoto not playing video

I uploaded videos and pictures taken from my wife's iPhone 5 into iPhoto. We normally upload everything into Aperture on the iMac; however that computer is being repaired right now. So, we uploaded the videos onto her MacBook Pro and into iPhoto (because I didn't install Aperture on the MacBook) because she wanted to send the videos to someone today (and not wait for the iMac to get back home).
After I uploaded into iPhoto, the pictures and videos looked great, but when I went to play the videos it was a black screen but the audio played. This is why we normally don't use iPhoto. Why in the world would a video taken on the iphone not play properly on iPhoto???? Can someone help with this?
Her MacBook Pro is running OSX 10.7.5 and iPhoto '11 (9.4.3).

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

IPhoto '08 would not play videos in Mavericks 10.9.1

I upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.1 and my iPhoto '08 (v7.1.5) would not play video anymore. Is there a software compatibility problem?

I recently updated to Windows 8.1 but since i have my iTunes will not play video i previously downloaded from the iTunes store. The video will play in QuickTime without issue though, please help

sorry it's not my apple id. it's my icloud email/account. after i updated to ios 8.1.2 my icloud acct on my phone is wrong. it's using my old college email address instead of my current icloud account email. my old college email address *used* to be my apple id, but i changed my apple id to my gmail account a few months back. anyway i can't "sign out" or delete the icloud account bc it thinks my college email address is my icloud account and it keeps asking for the password. so i'll type in the current password for my icloud account and it says it's wrong and i need to retry or change the password, which i've already done twice and nothing changes. probably bc its asking for the password associated with the college email address it thinks is my icloud acct.
i can access icloud on my desktop without a problem... make any sense? do i have to restore my phone now or is there a solution? i've wasted the last 2 days trying to figure this out. i can't send or receive emails on my iphone bc of this. which really ***** for work.

When you run the uninstaller, it will uninstall all Flash Player versions.
If you want to revert to an older version after that, get it from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

The files seem to play fine on other computers. Have also found out that I can play downloand or streamed videos (only audio).
Can't figure out why video won't play. Other video formats (.avi for example) play fine through Windows Player.
Any insight? . . . anyone?

Dear sir my mobile model is nokia x3-00.
The problem is my mobile does not play any video. When i play any video it play audio well but the frames of video does not display. I also update my phone software but still it does not play video.

have you checked via Nokia Suite on PC if there are any firmware updates available for your device? if there are, please update to the latest version offered. failing that, you can try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite and if that fails, Restoring your phone to factory settings.

Restart the phone and if it doesn't work, go to Ovi store and download a task manager...I also suggest you to backup all the content and perform a factory reset.
I had that phone and the reality is that the C6 doesn't have too much memory RAM... =(

Quick time not playing videos, It used to work fine, then stopped last week. You hit the play button, it goes to pause does not play

One thing that might help out.
make sure the iphone is up to date by connecting the iphone to itunes and click the button to check for updates.

You might need to reset and or restore the iphone to resolve any software issues.

TVNZ will not play video in safari

TVNZ On Demand says I need to load the latest Adobe Flash Player and will not play video in Safari.
The same applies for TV3 On Demand in Safari.
I definitely have the latest loaded - Plug-in version 11.9.900.117 is installed
The same problem does NOT occur within Mozilla Firefox.
It also does not happen on my older iMac - with OSX 10.2 installed.

You Tube and other sites are not playing video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after latest update for both. Adobe Flash is working on other sites but not You tube and those sites that may have embedded You Tube videos, I'm not sure.
Adobe Flash does not crash and no error message is showing. All that shows is a dark screen for the Flash video. Right clicking the screen shows only a non-clickable 'Movie not loaded' and the clickable link to the Adobe home page.
I have spent an hour trying things as suggested for past problems similar to this but none have helped.
I have sent sad face letting you know what I think of the latest update because of this which says pretty much the same thing as I have said here.
I have no further info but if I had some input and queries form you I might be able to provide more.

I'm not sure how to remove the 12.xxx version,. I don't understand why it is there, usually updates over wirte the old one as far as I know. I don't know where to find it.

Ok, did what you have said as much as I could. I have been fidgeting with things now for a couple hours. After doing a CCleaner and Registry cleanse, turning off and restarting the computer, the videos are now p-laying.
I would still like to know how to find and get rid of the duplicate Flash plug in though if you would't mind.

I understand while viewing a video or listening to some different content, you lose audio, is that correct? I will do all I can to assist you with this issue.
Does the issue occur when you have headphones inserted? If you are not sure, if you have a set of headphones available could you test that please?

Youtube not playing videos on lollipop z3

When I updated my z3 to lollipop I found a problem in youtube app it's become not playing videos anymore
I tried to delete the cash but nothing happened even I tried to reinstall it again but not solved
