Iphoto now jumps in and downloads videos that iflip video before anything can prevent it.

Hi:
Macbook crashed after 6 years and had to get new hard disk.  About the same time iFlip original stopped working.   Now, with new iFlipHD, and snow leopard, when ever I go to upload a video to the flipshare page, iphoto comes on and tries to download the items from the iFlip HD.   It took 3 videos before I knew it was on behind the flipshare window.   The videos are now, just single pictures with not sound or action.   I can't rush do a retake, it was a world away.
How can I disable iphoto from stealing the videos I want to upload to Flipshare, a very easy way of sharing videos.

I have the same question only my photos haven't disappeared.  They are still there. I delete them, but they are back when I reopen the app. I have deleted the plist file and it doesn't make any difference.
