IPhoto opening query
Everytime I open iPhoto 11 I get a message saying "6 Photos have been found in the the iPhoto library that were not imported. Would you like to import them? Yes or No"
If I select No I get a message saying that the photos have been placed in a recovery folder within the iPhoto folder however this folder is always empty when I open it!?
If I select Yes iPhoto opens and I have a new album apear called Recovered Photos. But again this is empty!
Its gettign annoying. Anyone any ideas? Its difficult as I dont know what photos it is talking about. Do I have some corrupt photos? How do I find any dodgy photo files it might be referring to?
Thank you
I would ask th users in the iPhoto forum: https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/iphoto. Good luck.

Edited by: vamsi talluri on Sep 14, 2011 6:57 PMHi Experts,
I have checked with basis team , my issue is resolved, please find the solution .
1) Add corresponding system server names in host files of the offshore desktops.
2) After that basis has added offshore natted ips in sap gatewat parameter/alternate hostnames in system profile (rz10 tcode).
Then offshore are able to access query deisgner etc....

Getting below error while opening query in bex 3.5x
Dear Guru's
I am getting below error while opening query in bex 3.5x
The following object were not found when accesing the server .
Press repair to correct the problem (included parts of query deleted) press cancel to undo the last action.
Regards
KaranHi,
1) When a query administrator with the sufficient authorization (sap_all or the * authorization for the field in the authorization object) is creating the query in query designer including the 'attributes' which are not visible with the 'normal' authorizations, the query will not list the columns in the output when it is executed by the normal user.
2) so create an authorization object for each of these attributes with * (full authorization)

Hi
When i am trying to open query I can able to see the the query when I click on Change it is giving error message.
"Inconsistency in loading. Please check use of deleted objects"
When I try to execute that query it is giving error and disconnecting from Server.
Thanks
VaniVani,
So teh IO's deleted are executing some function before the query is opened. Which means the it is throwing a runtime error. Well, to open the query you should add back those objects to the data target. You will be able to open the query then. Then remove the unwanted objects from the query and save it. After that you can remove the objects from the data target again.
Now in which system you are facing problem, in Dev or prod? -
when I connect my iPhone, iPhoto opens and the phone begins charging but iTunes does not recognize it and I cannot sync. Any advice?
Howdy AndieKanaras,
It sounds like your iPhone is being recognized everywhere but in iTunes. I would use the troubleshooting for that issue in the following article, named:
If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,
Sterling -
I installed Snow Leopard and have the latest version of iTunes. However, when I connect my iPhone 4S, it charges and iPhoto opens, but iTunes doesn't seem to recognize the iPhone. It simply doesn't appear in the left column. What gives?

my photos won't "load" - it has worked fine for at least two years, but suddenly now when I plug in the chip, iPhoto opens up as usual, but the window just says "loading photos", and the little wheel keeps on spinning - can anyone help me?? I am new here. I need to get it working again because we're about to go on a trip!
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Can IPhoto open pictures that are saved as Photoshop 7 files?
I have PhotoShop 7 and have a lot of photos that were saved in Photo Shop on Mac Classic system. Most of these are very large. 24MB to 56MB files. I upgraded to Mac 10.5.8 and now they will not open without a $700 upgrade from Photo Shop. I do not need to edit the photos. Only be able to use them. That means they need to be reduced in size to under 1MB. Will iPhoto open up these Photoshop pictures?
I am pretty sure that PSE will open more PSD's than iPhoto will. Someone was really pushing PSCS. As the first link I posted said, there are some PSD's that PSE won't open. But iPhoto won't open those, either.
I migrated from PS7 to PSE and never had a problem. But my files were relatively simple PSD's.
Don't take my word for it, download the free trial and try it.

IPhoto opens when I sync iPhone 6 to iTunes...
So when I plug my iPhone 6 or iPad (4th gen) into my MBP to sync to iTunes, iPhoto opens. I don't want it to. In iPhoto I have checked No Application in the General preferences. I have several libraries (managed by iPhoto Library Manager) and I checked 2 of the libraries and both have No Application selected in the General preferences.
I am running Yosemite 10.10, iTunes 12.0.1.26 (I think that's the number-it's hard to read but it's the latest version as of today, November 4). Thank you for your help! Judy
PS-is there a way to set the default text size when writing questions to post. Font size 8 is just too tiny for me.Under the window where the photos are displayed there is a drop down menu next to Import To: and Pictures is selected but there is no choice to select none. Is that the problem then if No Application is selected already?
Is that in Image Capture?
Ignore the "import to". You do not have to import. If the drop-down menu in the sidebar is set to "None", just quit Image Capture without importing any photos.
When both iPhoto and ImageCapture are set to open no application, restart your computer, to force all apps to read the iMage Capture preferences again. -
IPhoto opens with startup - how can I get it to stop?
Everytime I start my Powerbook, iPhoto opens. No problem with iPhoto 5. Since I loaded 6, can't get it to stop. I've looked at preferences, but not sure what is causing it. Any ideas??
Powerbook 15 in Mac OS X (10.4.4)Try CTRL clicking (or right click) on the iPhoto dock icon and make sure "Open at Login" isn't checked.

my computer will no longer let me upload any pictures to facebook or attach any pictures through email. everytime i try, iphoto opens but before i get the chance to choose a picture, the iphoto automatically closes and it does that everytime i try.. how can i fix that?
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Other than that, what version of iPhoto do you have? Assuming 09 or later try
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

TD
P.S. Please don't type in block capitals. They are harder to read and on the forum it looks like you're having a tantrum -
Make iPhoto open by default when I plug in a SDHC
I have a canon camera and when I plug in the SDHC card from it the default application to open is the Canon software. Is there any way to make iPhoto open by default?
I can't find an option for this anywhere.Yes, it is called "Connecting camera opens", I can't believe that I missed that. Thanks.
It would make a lot more sense to me if this was in an appropriately renamed System preferences : CDs & DVDs. You could rename it "external media". -
Why doesn't my iphoto open now after the upgrade?... big bummer
Because something is wrong? Really, with the amount of information you supply what else are you hoping for?
