Iphoto or photoshop express (iphone 5c, ios 7.04)- who wins?

Howdy appleheads out there! I just got an iphone 5c and wanted to ask acutal users out there which photo editing app they like best, "Iphoto" or "Photoshop Express"? Id especially like to hear from folks who have tried both. Im looking for cool filters, to crop, elimiate red eye and do basic things like that. I really want something that is user friendly as I am new to apple products and am a bit lost at the moment.
Does the Iphone 5c ios 7.04 come pre-loaded with its own photo editing app? If so where is it located?
Would it be worth the space to download both apps?
Any help out there for a newbie would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Download and try both. Then you can decide which works best for you. Delete the one you don't want.

Try using Image Capture to see if they will import using that program. If it does then you drag and drop on top of iPhoto. If they do not then there may be an issue with the photos. Alternatively you can email the pictures to yourself and then save them to your computer. Check out the articles below for importing and troubleshooting photos that

How do I install Photoshop Express on my iMac? (Can I install it on my iMac?)

I'm a writer working on a book, and I need Photoshop Express (if it's possible) to view the size/resolution of image files that I plan to use in the book.
I have a contractual deadline of this coming Monday, February 9, to get these photos to my editor in the high-resolution form that they specify.
Can I do this with Photoshop Express?
Also, can I install Photoshop Express on my iMac (running OS X version 10.6.8....yeah, I know it's an old OS, but I don't want to do an OS upgrade while I have a pook project in the works.)
Please let me know ASAP...I'd like to get these images sorted out and ready to send to my editors no later than this coming Friday, February 6.

Photoshop Express is an iOS app, not an OSX program. And no, you can't create print-ready imagery with it. You are looking completely in the wrong place. Find someone to take care of your images or send the raw files to your publisher so they can have their own pre-press team working on them.

IPhoto for iOS or Adobe Photoshop Express?

Hi! So... My dad is a photographer and he is going to use an iPad loaned by the company he is taking pictures for.
Anyway.... Which app would you recommend for a photographer? As the iPad is going to be loaned out (or he will use my iPad 2) I don't know if it will be an iPad 1, 2, or possibly the new 3 considering the event is in April. I realize Photoshop Express or just the default photos app which does have a few edit tools will have to work if he gets the iPad 1.
Recommendations are welcome!

Problem with Photoshop Express IOS 8.02 - I recently installed IOS 8.02 on my iPad Air and Photoshop Express cannot access my full library of images. Also, when opening the app, I'm not given the option of selecting "Open from Adobe Revel", "Take a Picture" or "Open from Camera Roll".......I am taken directly to a small selection of images. The only images that show up are the saved photos previously adjusted through Photoshop Express. I also updated my iPhone 5s with IOS 8.02 and Photoshop Express works perfectly on the iPhone with all images in my library visible.

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

I believe you will find you can again sync Photos if you delete the "iPod Photo Cache", but predict that any subsequent attempt will fail. In my case, the enxt sync removes all the photos again - I've seen other reports of error messages upon sync. Mine just fails silently. :-)

so hello i also was facing this sort of problem few months back and one of online friends suggest me to do Quick crop or rotation emailing or facebooking w/o downloading to the computer and edit it and morover iPad is the best than any thing to use Adobe photoshop and its 16 most frequently used tools from the Apple iPad rather than using the mouse and primary screen so guys try to do it and there after inform me the results.

Photoshop express on iPhone not included with Adobe cc full suit???

I purchased full adobe cc suit but when I downloaded photoshop express on my iPhone and sign in it day I only have free version and have to pay to have access to presets and effects. I though I had the full package including apps. Can anyone confirm if this is right?

Case 1: You have updated Photoshop Express on your phone, but iTunes on your computer has the old version
1. First, go to iTunes on your computer. In the "Apps" section, look for the Photoshop Express icon.

iTunes only keeps one normal backup per iOS device. As you've found out, its an incremental backup in that only data that has changed is actually backed up or overwritten. You can view available backups under iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Any backups listed that are time/date stamped are backups from restore points. These backups are not overwritten. Do you maintain a backup of your computer data? If so, you might be able to retrieve a prior iPhone backup from your computer backup.

Is it possible to recover lost data from an iPhone 4 iOS 5

Hello, I recently upgraded my iphone from iOS 4.2 to 5.0, and in the process of restoring my iphone, my photos and some other settings (some email accounts and phone number "favorites") were not restored. I'm very upset about the pictures....I've lost about 7 months worth.
Before I performed the upgrade, I backed up my iphone, however it appears that the backup did not backup my pictures, as I used some third party software to see if there were pics in the back-up which there was not.
I don't sync my pics with iphoto, because I have previously restored my camera roll from a backup several times in the past, with no issues. What are my options to find all these lost pics?
PS - I use a Mac to sync (but I also have a PC).
1) Is there a way to go back to older version of my back-up file? Like from a couple days ago? It looks like itunes only stores a couple backup files. Do you think I could find older/deleted/overwritten versions with file recovery software?
2) Is there any file recovery software that can look on the iphone's hard disk for these "deleted" picture files? In the past, I've used file rescue software on an SD card to retrieve deleted pics, and it works flawlessly.
Any help is appreciated!!

Have you found a solution to your problem? I, too, lost files during the upgrade to iOS 5.0. My files in Pages, Numbers and Keynote disappeared although the update said they'll be saved in iCloud. They simply vanished after the update.

Sorry about the crazy long title. I updated my Mac 2 nights ago to OSX 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard) and now Itunes 10.6.3 is not detecting my IPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1 when I plug it in. The phone still chirps when I plug it into the USB port. I can still get photos and video from the IPhone in IPhoto. How can I get my IPhone to sync with ITunes again? Any suggestions would be apprciated! Thanks!

Thank You! I just updated to OS X 10.6.8 and now my IPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1 will sync with ITunes 10.6.3. . I must be lucky as I did not update my ITunes to 10.7. I'm not even sure how I would do that? Do I have to buy it? When I tell my ITunes to chck for updates it says there is no update. Thanks again varjak paw! :-)
